This Cozy Cottage 130 is a short approx.10 minute walk from famous Rathtrevor Beach and park. It is very centrally located on Vancouver Island, in Parksville, BC, which enables you to do short day trips to explore the many wonders of the island. You can take in the sights in Victoria to the south or surf in Tofino to the west, both of which are just 2.5 hours away.

This Cozy cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Queen bed in the master. Double bed in the second bedroom. Pull out couch in the upstairs loft and a pull out couch in the main living room. Gourmet fully stocked kitchen , Laminate Flooring, Gas Fireplace, In suite Laundry, Barbecue, Books, Games, 3 Televisions, private back deck to enjoy.

Indoor heated Pool, Hot tub and Fitness Room included with your stay! Located right near mini golf and the main amenities building-just a short walk away from the front door.

You could enjoying a round of golf at one of the many courses just a short drive away. There are many parks, family activities, and restaurants nearby. Also, enjoy downhill skiing or snowboarding at nearby Mount Washington, or mountain bike the same mountain in the summer. You could also shop to your hearts content in nearby Nanaimo, or maybe go out for supper and then a movie before coming back to your cozy cottage just a short 20 minutes away. Maybe you would just like to hang out at your cottage and enjoy the Mini-Golf course right next door or maybe go for a swim and then a dip in the hot tub in the recreation center just a few doors down. With all that there is to enjoy in Parksville on Vancouver Island, we are sure that you will have a vacation that you will remember for years to come.

Beyond expectations, i didn’t expect so many amenities on the complex itself (ice cream, mini golf, burritos etc.) we were here for a golf trip and it couldn’t have worked out better.

Cozy Cottage

In deed this was a cozy cottage! Our communication with the host was excellent, she was super accommodating. There were lots of extra surprises in the cottage that we were not expecting which made our stay so much more pleasant. The walk to the beach was just right. I highly recommend booking here.

The cottage was very well equipped with cooking utensils etc. This is the first place I stayed at with decent knives! Thank you. There are plenty of towels for house and beach and pool. It is an easy drive to everything that Parksville has to offer.

Great family vacation spot

The cabin was immaculate, well furnished, and perfectly located for a family vacation to Parksville and the surrounding areas: feet from Minigolf and ice cream, and minutes from Rathtrevor Beach. Highly recommend!

Great central base

Ideal cottage for our family of 4. Central to great hikes, beaches, day trips to Victoria and Tofino. Kids loved that mini-golf was 200 steps away and used the pool everyday. Well equipped and clean.

The house made the trip

If this house wasn't what it claimed to be then this getaway with our closest friends would have been very different. It was great! The location was central to everything we wanted to go and do. It was big enough to comfortably house 8 of us, with 4 kids six years and younger! We explored the beaches, coombs, mini golf, and more and having this home to go back to made it all easier. The streets are quiet and safe, making it fun for the kids to run and scooter around.

Great Overall Stay

Loved the set up. Spacious rooms. Lots of cooking and kitchen equipment, plates, utensils, etc.A few things that would've made this stay extra stellar:- an extra bathroom, as sharing 1 among 5 adults and 3 kids is a little challenging- including bathroom amenities (shampoo, body wash) would've been nice- a few too many restrictions with cleanliness (garbage disposal, cooking, etc.) as I would happily pay a clean up fee to have this taken care of- Pull out couch a tad uncomfortable and difficult to sleep on as it drops in the middle Things I enjoyed:- in suite laundry- outdoor BBQ area- quiet community- attentive service managerHot tips for new travelers:- Bring your own seasonings (oil, spices, etc.)- Bring own coffee (brew coffee pot on site)- Bring own toiletriesOverall a great value stay and would return again. Thank you!

Let’s call it awesome

Everything about this process and property was ….awesome. Well appointed, clean unit with all the amenities your require along with a BBQ, Keurig coffee machine and a regular coffee maker AND an air fryer. Linens and towels were good quality and plenty. We have stayed in numerous VRBO properties over the years and this was the nicest we have stayed at. Highly recommended….although we may not be able to get a booking now that I mention this. It is our intention to return to this area and this property. George & Patti B.

TV problem

The only problem that I had was with the T V . Roku has very old movies, and the Shaw hookup was in the bedroom.

Lovely cottage

We were very pleased with our cottage. It's very cute, generally well equipped, and in a great location. We loved being so close to Rathtrevor Beach. The resort grounds are beautifully kept, and we felt very safe there. We were pleased to have a back deck and barbeque, as we ate all our meals outside. The kitchen is very well equipped, and we appreciated the laundry facilities. There were only a few drawbacks: - It doesn't really accommodate 8 people as advertised. Perhaps if several of the people are children, it would be fine, but if you're all adults, it doesn't work well. We were 4 women who all wanted our own beds. However, we discovered the pullout sofa in the loft is unsleepable because of the bars across your back and the saggy mattress. This really needs to be replaced. The bed in the second bedroom is only a double, so it's not big enough for 2 adults. In addition, there were only enough sheets for 3 beds, not 4. - Could I recommend putting a few mirrors in various rooms? The only mirror was in the bathroom, which was a challenge for 4 women! - Perhaps the owners could consider putting in A/C. We were fine while the weather was pleasant, but the last couple of days started to heat up, and it was difficult to sleep at night. Overall, we had a very nice stay at the cottage, and I'd certainly stay again, although not with 4 adults. Thanks, Dahlia, for allowing us to stay in your lovely cottage!

Short ride to Oceanside

Fantastic. Halloween is my favourite time of year and at the main building it was all decorated for Halloween. The decorations were awesome and every night we went for a walk and take a look and take some pictures. The resort is just a short walk away from the beach and if you wanted to walk to town it wasn’t far. The resort was a main base for us as we explored surrounding areas. We will definitely be returning with extended family. 😊

Annual Getaway to Parksville

Very nice property, nicely maintained, had everything you need for your stay. Quick drive to downtown and close to beach.

Oceanside Resort Cabin 130

Clean cabin, felt fairly new, good location. Enjoyed the included dishwasher and washer and dryer! Needed newer coffee perk ( lid hinge was broke) and instructions for bathroom fan which went on and off with a mind of it’s own. No cable TV like Shaw or Telus - only Roku!! 👎👎Missed important CFL and NFL games ( a big negative). Otherwise a comfortable 8 night stay!

Parksville Family Vacation

Our family had an excellent stay on the island and our condo was great!!! Very close to a lot of attractions and nice beaches. Condo came equipped with necessary items. Only disappointment was lack of beach chairs but we made due.
