Ocean Front Direkte på stranden - Premium Faciliteter Dette charmerende feriehus ved stranden ligger et stenkast fra sandklitterne og havet surf, beliggende i det fredelige kvarter North Beach på Amelia Island. Vågn op for at se bølgerne fra master sengen med en pelikan's øje udsigt over vandet. Et 180-graders omviklet dæk har udsigt over havgræs klitter til kysten kun 50 meter væk. Barfodeture før morgenmaden er let med klitovergangen foran huset. Huset kan være relativt moderne, men det er fuld af historie. Fra det øjeblik, du åbner portholens hoveddør, vil du begynde at opdage relikvier fra et gammelt skib inde. Bådens fyrretræpaneler hæver sig til et hvælvet bjælkeloft, genvundet fra en historisk kirke for årtier siden. Den antikke sejlbådsmodel på den to-etagers stenpejs afspejler livet på en barriereø omgivet af søer og floder, sten og sand. For nylig renoveret i smagfuld nautisk indretning har vi bevaret den originale arkitektur, mens vi tilføjer moderne møbler, apparater og nye designer-sengetøj. Great location, clean and has nice linens. Porch view was great.Dishwasher wasn't working right or maybe the soap for it was not right but dishes were not clean.No wine glasses.Main toilet was running all the time and should be looked at.Even with these minor issues, we had a great time and loved staying there.

Location was great. Large deck was useful. The structure was interesting. The kitchen was functional but limited. The main door onto the deck was unusable. The carpets were dirty and stained. The couches were worn out and uncomfortable. The curtains were stained and torn. Most of the blinds didn't work. This is a cool house that needs a lot of work.

The place is very nice but a little worn.Lightbulbs out light switches, not working only two coffee cups.The big problem was the mattress in the main bedroom is completely worn out and sagging.

House was just steps away from beach. Enjoyed our short stay at Ocean Glory. Plenty of seating in living room and plenty of beds. Great experience!

Lovely home on beach

This cute hexagonal shaped house was very roomy for our family of 7. We only had to walk across a dirt frontage road and over the dunes path to get to the ocean. Sitting on the front balcony was nice. The house has lots of windows looking over the ocean. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Ocean View with Sunrises and Moonrises...priceless!

The proximity to the beach and ocean was fantastic, beds were comfy, the Kitchen is well equipped. he location also has a park in walking distance and Salt Life Restaurant is also within walking distance. The morning views either from the deck, the Living Room, The Kitchen and even the Primary Bed were OUTSTANDING!

Great location

The rental is well worn and could be cleaner. It was a great location and the house layout was nice for our family. The view was great.I expected things like clogged up sinks, no stopper in the bath tub, missing light bulbs in overhead lighting, ripped outdoor seating as well as a lid on the outdoor garbage can to be addressed prior to our check in. The house feels neglected.

Location was excellent but unit was not very clean, no carafe for coffee maker, back door was fastened shut with an extension cord, no hand soap. Some lights didn’t work. Air conditioner barely kept the unit at 75 degrees.

Great location but…

The location was perfect but the place needs a lot of TLC. Dust covered everything including baseboards, a/c returns, and ceiling fans. The dinning room table and chairs were broken and the light fixtures did not work. The seating area outside is minimal at best with mixed matched chairs that don’t fit the table height. Don’t plan to use the grill because it was in horrible condition. Would not recommend this place until a lot of work is done to clean and repair.

We all had a wonderful stay in a beautiful house. Sunrises were so peaceful and pretty from deck with our morning coffee. House was really clean and cozy. Loved our stay ,so needed!!!! Thank you

Great property in excellent oceanfront location.

My family enjoyed a great 4 day stay. Everything was excellent. Priceless view from the deck we enjoyed every day and night. Beach gear and outdoor shower were perfect. Also, we've rented many properties and never had one with such great beds and bedding as this one, basically the same quality we have at home.

Great Home for Vacation

This is an older home, but there was nothing wrong with it. My husband and I stayed with our two adult children and their significant others. We enjoyed our long weekend. Only a small dirt road separated us from the beach. Pathway to the beach was directly in front of the home.

Lovely beach house for a wonderfully relaxing getaway!

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely beach house! We were situated in a prime location facing the ocean. The beautiful home has fantastic views of the ocean from many angles. We enjoyed watching the sunrise every day from an unobstructed view. The house is quite comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedroom with the 2 sets of bunkbeds was a big hit with my daughter! Such a great room for a family.

Beach 2023

The view is awesome. The house is well lived in and clean, the yard has a sea turtle nest in the front. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. One thing we weren’t happy with, the third bedroom had no a/c and it was hot.

Delightful vacation spot

Ocean Glory was exactly as advertised, and a perfect spot for a small family gathering: 4 adults, and two young people. The location is unbeatable, looking out on the dunes and a wide, lovely span of beach. The bedrooms/beds were comfortable and well appointed, the living area attractive and comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked and more than adequate. The deck is a great plus, and it is nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas provided. This quiet part of Fernandina beach is near Fort Clinch State Park, and convenient to restaurants and other services, but very much has a neighborhood ambiance. We recommend it as a great spot for a beach getaway.

Location is the very best

This is a great house in a wonderful location - if you want a 2 minute barefoot stroll to the beach and a wonderful view over the dunes to the ocean. This end of the beach is quiet and just what we wanted. The house itself is comfortable, but looking a little tired. The kitchen is skimpily equipped for such a big house. A refresh is due, I think.

Beautiful home, but had a rodent problem

Rodent droppings in several places, especially in the kids room. I was not comfortable with my son sleeping in that room. Our food was eaten by rodents. The property management refunded one day.

pros and cons

Pros-- The house and property are lovely. The location is fantastic. The living space and deck are both comfortable and cozy. The house is clean... Cons-- The bunk room doesn't seem to have its own air vent, making it hot to sleep in even when the rest of the house is quite cool. The kitchen cabinets could use some work-- many of them don't close; and according to my brother-in-law-the-cook, only one stove eye was really usable-- a couple of them only worked on high. We had a fun week hanging out together...

Disappointed

First, the positive - you can't beat the location of this property! The neighborhood is a nice beachfront area, and beach access is available right in front of the house. Unfortunately, the property was somewhat dirty, the only door to the outside porch (besides the front door) had a "Do Not Open" sign on it, which was unfortunate. The biggest issue is the water smelled like sulfur and was a complete turn off for the entire weekend. Showers were unpleasant, and we used bottled water for food cleaning and cooking. This was not disclosed prior to our arrival. Because of it we would not rent this property again.
