1600 kvadratmeter 3 seng 1 bad året rundt sommerhus på en smuk mindre sø, der er fantastisk til fiskeri og svømning! Cottage har ingen trapper inde eller ude og har en fantastisk sandstrand med solrige eksponering. Sommerhuset er fuldt udstyret og omfatter vaskeri, satellit, grill, bålplads, mikroovn, komfur, kaffekande, svømmeflåde, padlebåd, kano, robåd. Splinterny fuldt renoveret badeværelse. Cottage er 15 min syd for Parry Sound og 5 min kørsel fra Gordon Bay Marina og Lake Joe's båd lancering.

Week in June

Beautiful spot facing west (great for sunsets) on small, quiet lake. The cottage is very well equipped with pretty much everything you might need. Really appreciated the private sandy beach with shallow entry for the dog…which would also be ideal for kids. We slept very well on one of the comfortable queen sized beds. Good water pressure with hot water for showering & doing dishes. This time of year the biting bugs happen to be very “friendly” so we just used bug spray & limited our time outdoors. Great set up inside for playing board games & doing puzzles on large dining table with good lighting & fantastic view looking out to the lake & sunsets. Very convenient to have an additional dining space on large kitchen island with stools. Would love to come back later in the summer &/or fall!

Wish we could have stayed longer

We loved our stay at this cottage! It had everything we wanted, it was very spacious, and the view of the lake was fantastic! I hope we can stay again some day.

Perfect spot for our family reunion

Beautiful location with lots of outdoor activities perfectly suited to our active adult children. Cottage was very welcoming, well equipped and spacious. The lake was warm and peaceful and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets.

Perfect Getaway in Muskoka

Beautiful cottage with great access to water for swimming, paddle boating, paddle boards etc. Beautiful lake views at night. Interesting watching the planes coming in and out overhead. Nice calm lake and warm for swimming. Had a nice stay and would recommend.

Relaxing retreat after trip across Canada

This cottage was the perfect place to land and re-group after our drive across Canada. It is clean and comfortable, the lake is warm and inviting and we had afternoon naps every day. Also, the sunsets are AMAZING. Would definitely recommend for a getaway.

Amazing

This was our first little family getaway and it was absolutely amazing!!! The cottage was adorable and cozy, also has a beautiful view of the lake!!! Totally coming back!!

Lovely cottage . Peaceful lots of living space Great for all ages nice sandy and shallow area for small children . My only complaint would be that the towels had an odour as if not washed properly but t our stay otherwise had a fantastic few dsys

Beautiful place

Me and my friends had a wonderful weekend at Dickson's cottage. The cottage is cozy, clean, fully equipped with everything you need, perfectly situated on a beautiful lake. Fabulous stay!

We went for a few days for a family trip. It was amazing. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed, the views were great. There were a couple mentions of being too close to neighbours, but it’s a small cottage community area, and it felt very safe and friendly to me. The amenities were great. We’d be glad to return back!!

Family Get Together

Enjoyable stay with family, some not seen since start of the pandemic. Second visit to this cottage in 60 days. Hoping to return next September. A true cottage experience right on the water with very gracious hosts. Can’t wait to return.

Fun was had by all!

We just spent the week at this cottage and had an amazing time. The cottage was clean, cozy, well maintained and was very well stocked with everything you could need. Location was perfect. The kids had a great time swimming and paddling in the lake and lots of great fishing for my husband and son. You are right next to the neighbors on one side but I still felt we had lots of privacy and we rarely saw anyone else. We genuinely enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would definitely stay here again! Thank you Caitlin and Peter for sharing your gem with us.

Beautiful, Quiet, serene

This cottage had everything we needed. The additional apartment upstairs with additional deck was a bonus. The commercial kitchen was awesome ! We were thankful for air conditioning on Saturday, as it was smokin hot outside . There was a lot of room for our big family and we loved having the kids play area in the front yard. A beautiful spot on the water … hidden away from the business of life. We quite enjoyed being off the beaten path and soaked in the quiet over the weekend . We loved waking up on the water and having the opportunity to play pool, ping pong and badminton, Marla and Sherri were easy to get ahold in the case we had any questions or concerns during our stay.

great getaway

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The place was clean had plenty of amenities for cooking, relaxing, playing and enjoying the outdoors. The time it did rain we had lots of games and puzzles and TV to watch. The teens really enjoyed the paddle boards and the fishing was fantastic for them, we even had a feed for the 7 of us one night. Row boat was great but could use some new paddles as the ones there were mismatched and hard to use. I even got on the paddle board for the first time ever and I am 69. Overall the short trip to Parry Sound for what bits we needed worked out just fine. Thumbs up from us..

Such a Beautiful Experience!

From the moment you parked the car you could instantly see the lake from the backyard. And it was absolutely beautiful !. There were chairs to enjoy the view and nice weather the days we stayed. The inside of the cottage was very clean and beautiful. There was a fire pit outside as well which we took full advantage of. They provided us with the wood and all so that was very nice of them. There’s a swing on the tree which the kids really loved! I really have no complains from this experience. Everything was a 10/10. From the kids to the adults we all enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family!!

September 2024

We loved the location it is right on the water of a small lake with a dock and also a gradual sandy slope if you want to go swimming. You do have cellular service but our signal was very weak so you might have trouble streaming. The only complaint with the host was there was a tiny amount of what looked like blood on the comforter in the room just to the right as you enter the cottage. The other complaint I have is with Vrbo and the ease of communicating with our host (Caitlin and Peter) who were very helpful and informative with things to do and where you might find things near by. I had a hard time figuring out how to message them back but such a slow connection didn’t help. We had planned to go to a dark sky reserve but didn’t have to as you can see lots of stars by just sitting on the dock and looking up. We really enjoyed our stay. Heather and Bruce

Loved the quietness of the cottage and surrounding area

This cottage is very good and could very easily be an excellent place. It just needs a little TLC. We will definitely stay there again and will happily recommend it to anyone The weather was perfect and we were very relaxed

Great for Families

This was our third time staying at this cottage and once again, we had an amazing time. It’s a large, spacious cottage with beautiful views of the water. The lake is small and warm, with a gradual entry that’s perfect for kids. Our children loved the paddle boat and paddle boards and spent most of their time in the water. On rainy days, there were plenty of games, puzzles, and movies to keep us busy. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return again!
