Velkommen til Villa Tortuga! Tortuga betyder "skildpadde" på spansk. Det er en gated, velholdt ejendom i et veletableret kvarter i Christiansted. Dette dejlige hjem ligger lige under en hektar frodige, tropiske paradis. Strålende flamboyante træer og havudsigt hilser dig, når du kommer ind gennem porten. Dine første skridt gennem hoveddøren til dette ferieparadis trækker dine øjne med det samme til den spektakulære udsigt. Når du træder ud på det nybyggede, utrolige 1000 kvadratmeter dæk, bliver udsigten endnu mere betagende. Det ekspansive dæk har flere vignetter til at nyde morgenmad, middag, slappe af, læse en bog eller nyde solen. De synspunkter, som dette hjem har, er afgørende. På klare dage kan du se St. John til venstre Som natten falder udsigten som et stjernegalleri paradis. Boligindretningen er både elegant og tropisk. Det har mørke mahogni møbler, accent med levende karibiske farver. Der er en 50 "fladskærms-tv i stuen (komplet med Netflix) og et fladskærms-tv i soveværelset. Det store soveværelse har også eget badeværelse. Hvert værelse har en queensize seng. Derudover er der en queensize sovesofa i stuen. Villa Tortuga er rolig og fredelig, men det er kun 5 minutter fra centrum af Christiansted, shopping og restauranter. James is an outstanding host... friendly, responsive, and genuinely attentive to his guests' needs. Villa Tortuga is exactly as pictured, with breathtaking panoramic views of Christiansted Harbor, the beaches, and the eastern coastline.The villa is the perfect place to relax, offering plenty of deck space to enjoy both the sun and the shade. The hot tub is ideally positioned, allowing you to soak in the incredible views any time of day. In the evening, the twinkling lights of Christiansted create a beautiful backdrop that can even be enjoyed from the living room through the expansive patio doors.The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including thoughtful extras like a large air fryer and both a coffee pod machine and a traditional coffee maker.The property is centrally located, putting you just minutes from historic Christiansted, the Boardwalk, excellent shopping, dining, and other local attractions.After a day of exploring, snorkeling, or relaxing at the beach, Villa Tortuga is the perfect place to unwind. Beach chairs, snorkeling gear, and a cooler are provided—just load them into the car and you're ready for another day by the water.Villa Tortuga has definitely earned a spot among my favorite places to stay in St. Croix, and I would happily return. Stunning views and beautiful property

We came here for a long weekend and already are looking to come back! This property is in the perfect location with an absolutely unbelievable view of town! The host was extremely responsive to any questions we had and the house is complete with anything you would need. We love love love this property and can’t wait to plan our next trip back!

Had a very nice stay. Breezes were great up on the hill. Just a couple minutes to Christiansted. James was very easy to deal with. Would definitely stay again.

Reunion with daughters

My two daughters and I spent a lovely week in this fabulous villa! This was my 7th visit to Villa Tortuga and I hope to return for many more! The views are unparalleled and all the comforts of home are available. Who could ask for more!?!

The house was exactly what we were expecting. The view was a million-dollar view. We would come stay there again for work or actual vacation. The owner was very quick to respond to any inquiries that we had. He was also very informative about the house with the guest manual.

We loved our stay in the Villa Tortuga. On our last full day we decided that staying on the deck and in the hot tub with the heater off was a better choice than heading to another beach! Someone should advise the landlord that Jets #2 were not functioning and were coming on but then kicking off right away, which to me an old CPO would indicate a faulty electrical connection or a compromised pump which should be addressed ASAP for safety reasons. Not a problem, just an observation. And we never had to turn on any air conditioning because the Trade Winds kept us more then comfortable. Thank you so much!

The best place ever.

Let me start off by saying this was the best experience our group could have asked for. The manager Matt pick us up from the airport and showed everyone the whole property and its amenities. The owner and the house manager made this experience one that I will always remember. Thanks so much for bein professional and going above and beyond for our trip.

Beautiful View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful deck in the hot tub, dining, or just gazing at the view. The house was nicely furnished, with plenty of beach towels and bath towels. We also used the sand toys, nice beach chairs, snorkel gear, and washer and dryer. The beds were very comfortable and sleeping with the breeze coming in was the best! We would recommend this house to anyone! Thank you James!

Central Location with Amazing Views

We loved our stay at Villa Tortuga! The home had lots of nice accommodations including beach towels, water bottles, beach chairs etc. The location is great - outside of busy Christiansted but also a quick drive to amenities. Also very easy to drive to Frederiksted/Cane Bay etc. We spent a few nights in the hot tub relaxing after long beach days which was such a nice addition. The gate/house code was easier to figure out. If you type in "Villa Tortuga" into Google Maps, it navigates you right to the house which is helpful in the dark! If we return to St Croix, we will certainly stay here again!

Wonderful home, great views and relaxing atmosphere

Thank you for a wonderful vacation. It was only a short trip from Puerto Rico, but it felt like home when I arrived. The entire property was so tropical. I especially liked the flamboyant trees. And of course the views were amazing. Everything I needed was at the house. We cooked most nights and made good use of the dining room and the outdoor dining. One of my favorite things to do was to sit under the tree by the fire pit on a cozy night. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and expect to be there again next year.

Private home with scenic views

We had a lovely stay at Villa Tortuga. While near Christiansted, the property is very private and secluded with gate entry. Situated upon a high hill, views of the harbor are splendid. We did not miss a sunrise, which can be enjoyed from the deck or living room, which has expansive windows and sliding glass doors. The kitchen had a few items to help us get started, which we appreciated. The host was very responsive to all of our questions. If you don’t mind a bit of a hike, go to Jack and Isaac’s beach. Stunning!

Wonderful property in a great location

I am never really sure how a property will be when you look at photographs but the photos for Villa Tortuga do not do it justice. This is a lovely home in a beautiful location. The views from the deck are outstanding and I could sit out there all day with a drink in hand taking in the beauty of St. Croix. The home is well maintained and extremely comfortable and clean. The home has everything you could possibly need but if something did come up I have no doubt the property manager would take care of it. He was very attentive and the owner of the property was easy to reach as well. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return myself!

Dec 14-21

The guest bath toilet leaked and flooded the guest bath on the first night. We reported it, and the bathroom was unusable for the trip. I would have expected a couple hundred bucks back but the host didn’t offer and didn’t respond to my request for partial refund which was disappointing. The stay was otherwise pleasant.

Amazing House with Amazing View

We had a lovely stay at this house for a week. James was very responsive with any questions we had. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped. House is beautifully decorated with nice furniture. The most scenic drive was out towards Point Udall and around the southeast shore. The prettiest beach was Carambola. You can park just before the entrance and take the stairs down through the resort. The best swimming beach was Sandy Point out by Frederiksted. There’s also a really good restaurant on the beach, called Rhythms at Rainbow Beach. We also had two friendly cat brothers who came to visit us every day. I would definitely stay here again.

I work in the healthcare industry in Atlanta and Ramon is an IT manager. I'm a military brat and have lived in many places here and abroad. I started going to the Caribbean about 20 years ago. After many trips and several islands later, we decided to buy a home on St. Croix. Ramon is originally from Trinidad and Tobago, so moving to St. Croix was like going home for him. This island is the Caribbean's best kept secret. We hope you enjoy this jewel of an island as much as we do!

When looking for a home in St. Croix, we couldn't decide if we wanted a great view or more land. Fortunately with this property we were able to get both! The property is about an acre with incredible views of the both the ocean and hillside.

Although Villa Tortuga is only 5 minutes from downtown Christiansted, it is in a very tropical setting that is both serene and private. It's such a beautiful space and perfect for couples and honeymooners.
