A little piece of paradise

Location is wonderful! It is a unique condo, very spacious with ocean views that cannot be beaten. We were very comfortable and didn't want to leave.

Solid Condo, great location

This place is quaint. Plenty of space for 2 people. The view is amazing. Great location but that is about it. I would not stay here again. Needs some updating.

Loved staying here!!

Great over all experience. One issue we had was other tenants parking in our parking space but other than that great place to stay . I would stay again in a heart beat

Unlimited Ocean

Condo was right on the Kona Sea Wall, with never ending ocean views surf. Open floor plan, great for 2. Hope to return.

Great Condo on the Ocean

We had a really nice time staying at 404 Banyan Tree. The condo was a described. The views were beautiful, and it was well located for all of our travel around the Kona area. Worth noting, the condo does not have AC. It never got above 81 in the place, so we were perfectly content, but this might be a little warm for some folks. Just rent with this knowledge in hand, as it's a great place but could be too warm for some in the summer.

Relax and Enjoy

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As they say - location, location, location - and this place has it. The bed and pillows give a great rest. There are 2 bathrooms - great for after a full day at the beach. Even though it is the warm time of the year there are fans and shades for the windows. The property management is absolutely awesome! Thank you Hunter for your excellent customer service! Will continue with this agency for sure!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo had great views and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen didn’t quite look like the pictures. Only downfall was the condo was so uncomfortable at night due to the lack of A/C we literally got no sleep at night they provide fans but are useless. We sometimes would take cold showers at 3 am just to cool off.

Location is awesome!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we've stayed in 404. We live the locations, being right on the ocean and watching the surfing and sunsets here. The condo feels like a home, but is due for some minor touch ups. Overall though, it worked great for us. Kona town is just up the road and there is a nice little market across the street for snack and cold drinks. Blake and his team are awesome and made sure everything was great for us. I would highly recommend renting from Blake!

No Air Conditioning

Blake was wonderfully helpful and did all he could to make our stay more comfortable. The unit was outdated and was ill equipped. Not a fully equipped kitchen and info about washer dryer and lack of AC is a problem. I would not rent or recommend this unit but would rent again from Blake at Knutson.

Big Island June 2019

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third stay in a Condo in Kona. And I must say we enjoyed Banyan Tree 404D tremendously! The views are incredible. It is away from the busyness of downtown (which suits us perfectly). This makes it easy to head out on adventures in any direction. Tip from experience, don't worry about the lack of AC. There are multiple fans: we placed one at the entrance screen door, another at the hallway corner, and another pulling from one of the living room patio doors. Within 30 minutes of sunset it was cool and comfortable. The sunset view is amazing!

That view WOW!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. Very clean. The view is more amazing than photos can show. We loved watching the surfers and could even see fish and turtles in the water! The bed and furniture are very comfortable. The lack of air conditioning did lead to a few uncomfortable nights. There are several fans provided in the unit, but we didn’t seem to be getting much of a breeze off the ocean during our stay in August. Having a clothes washer in the unit was great. The drying rack provided did the job for our things and we did not need to use the dryer, which was great considering the inefficiency of it due to the venting system. The kitchen had modern appliances and was well stocked. Overall this is a great condo!

Great view a little hot

Reviewer Comments: Ac would have been nice it was very hot when we were there And having the dryer going when we got there was a bad idea and was over loaded too.They need to do the laundry some where else The place it self is awesome the view unbeatable .We had the pool pretty much to our-self.And the books where great too The artwork is fabulous. The house keepers had the window open and it clearly say please keep window closed .So if I owned this beautiful place I would be upset that the house keepers are not doing what the owner has asked.I own a cleaning bushiness so I'm very picky about that kind of thing. It could have been cleaned a little better just needs a deep clean but not unlivable . Over all I love the room but diffidently needs AC in August I know it was hotter then usual .But still would be nice.We would stay here again

Beautiful, Clean, and Well-managed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As others have said, this place was beautiful. The cleaning crew did an amazing job before we arrived. Knutson management were excellent, quick to respond, and I would not hesitate to rent a condo from them again. The kitchen has a good stove and really good cookware, which is a nice change from most rentals. Odd that there were only 2 wineglasses and they were mismatched, but that isn’t super important. The only issue was that the binders with condo instructions were thick and outdated. We found it hard to dig through all the pages and discover what is relevant and what wasn’t. They mention water jugs. Didn’t see them. Couldn’t access the 2nd floor storage unit to look for beach stuff. But you can tell the actual owners of this beautiful unit clearly want everyone to enjoy it the way they have, and that inspires you to take care of it for them.
