Fantastic location to multiple subway lines. Very walkable, quiet and safe. We were there during the rainy season (August) and unfortunately the entire apartment felt damp and nothing ever dried. Used 100 yen dryer down the street for our clothes, which helped a lot! Overall our family of 4 was comfortable and slept well. Good price for the location and size.

Thank you so much for staying with us and for your thoughtful review! We’re very happy to hear that your family of four enjoyed the convenient location, quiet neighborhood, and had a comfortable stay. We’re sorry about the humidity during your visit. August in Tokyo can be especially humid, but we understand that the apartment should still be as comfortable as possible. We’ll review the ventilation and humidity control and see what we can do to improve this for future guests. Thank you again for your helpful feedback and kind words. We’d be happy to welcome you and your family back anytime!

This was an awesome place with a great location. Close to transit but few tourists. It was perfect for our family of four. (The futons were so comfortable, we bought the same one for our bed when we got home.) Would highly recommend!

Great location, great host

The apartment is fairly small and I would recommend booking if a small party of 3 adults at most. The apartment is also quite dated and the level of cleanliness is under the expectation. However, during the stay, the host was super responsive and friendly. Plus, the location of the apartment is superb.

Small

This apartment was difficult to find for the taxi driver, but once we found it it, it was easy to get into and very clean. The only thing we were not preprared for was how small it was. It was approximately 300 ft2.the second bedroom and bathroom were only separated from the main living space by curtains.

Thank you very much for staying with us and for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found the apartment clean and that check-in was easy once you arrived. We’re sorry that the apartment felt smaller than you expected and that the curtain partitions between the second bedroom, bathroom, and main living area were not what you had anticipated. We appreciate your comments and will review how we present the layout and room configuration so that future guests can have a clearer idea of the space before booking. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we hope you had an enjoyable stay overall.

Great location, needs some upkeep

Apartment was easy to find and in a great quiet location. It was easy to get around from there. It was very dusty, especially the A/C heater unit and surrounding area. Glasses had lipstick stains and cutlery was quite dirty. Otherwise, it was a comfortable apartment and these were minor things and this wouldn’t stop me from going back. The host was responsive on emails and very helpful. The check in and out process was very easy as well.

Good location, but small and in need of work

The place is in a great spot and convenient to everything. That said, it is advertised as a 2 bedroom, but if you pay attention to the photos and sq.ft. (which I did not) you will realize it is a studio with a curtain and screen. The photos are all of the same room with the furniture moved around. There is no place to put both your luggage and the furniture. The table was broken and unusable, the flooring worn and dirty and literally there is no place to stand or walk if the beds are made except on the beds. Also be aware that the stairs you need to use to get to the unit are very steep and narrow. My family and I are in good shape, but it was a struggle to get our bags up the stairs and maintain our balance going down. Think of this place as a worn out studio in a great spot that you can cram some bodies into and you will be accurate.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the size and layout of the apartment did not meet your expectations. We understand that the curtain and screen partitions can feel different from a traditional two-bedroom layout, and we will review our listing information and photos to make the room configuration as clear as possible for future guests. We also apologize for the condition of the table and flooring during your stay. These are issues we take seriously, and we will inspect and address them with our cleaning and maintenance team. We appreciate your comments regarding the steep and narrow stairs as well, and we will consider how we can communicate this more clearly in advance, especially for guests traveling with large luggage. Thank you again for your honest feedback. We’re glad that you found the location convenient, and we will use your comments to improve the experience for future guests.

Mäßiges Apartment in ausgezeichneter Lage

The room was very clean and the best thing was a basket of complimentary Japanese snacks!

The apartment was very convenient to go anywhere since the hub station, Shinbashi was only 5min on foot. Also we could walk to Imperial palace and a famous shopping district, Ginza. And there were many kinds of restaurants around the house from Ramen, Sushi restaurants, Izakaya to a beer restaurant, Italian, Chinese... I didn’t have any problems to find places to eat. The room was very clean and the best thing was a basket of complimentary Japanese snacks!
