Resume: Denne luksuriøse ejendom er sandsynligvis det smukkeste hus i vores portefølje. Det har en fantastisk beliggenhed lige i den maleriske berømte landsby Valbonne, kun ca. 100 m fra centrum, men gemt væk i en meget afsondret beliggenhed. Det er i en høj beliggenhed med udsigt over det omkringliggende landskab. Dette hus ville være et ideelt valg til en meget speciel ferie.

Med sin opvarmede pool og indhegnede ejendom er den ideel til børn og voksne, der går til fods til 20 restauranter og mange butikker i "Vieux Village" i Valbonne
Ingen grund til at bekymre dig om parkering og politi efter en god middag med vin!

Denne nyligt bygget sydorienterede villa med aircondition er ikke desto mindre helt stille, har en fuldstændig afsondret have med en privat, opvarmet pool og tilbyder charmerende udsigt over landsbyen og bakkerne. Meget solrig ejendom, have og pool nyder sol hele dagen mod syd.

Villaen i sig selv er lys og rummelig. Stuen har højt til loftet og en original Louis XIII pejs fra et fransk slot i Bourgogne, stenfliser, antikke møbler, håndmalet keramik i badeværelserne og en åben adgang til spisestuen. Alle fire soveværelser i dobbelt størrelse har eget badeværelse, to er placeret på øverste etage; alle fire soveværelser samt spisestue og opholdsstue har aircondition. Bortset fra to soveværelser på øverste etage, er alle andre værelser og køkkenet kun på et niveau med indgangsdøren til huset, også på et niveau med de to gårdhave udenfor. Ingen trin, ideel til personer med gåproblemer.
Der er et mezzanin-familieværelse til tv, perfekt til børn, og et andet tv i soveværelset til voksne
Du nyder to overdækkede gårdhave ude på et niveau med huset med to separate grill, en i hver gårdhave (kul og gas)
For alle gæster er linned og håndklæder inkluderet i prisen.
Haven er helt indhegnet og børnevenlig. Puljen er sikret med et alarmsystem og kan opvarmes. Vi beklager, at vi ikke accepterer kæledyr i villaen.
Valbonne er et af de mest efterspurgte og dyrebare charmerende steder bag CANNES med sine berømte fredagsmarkeder og dens historiske omgivelser, fine butikker og restauranter.
Vores villa har en privat bane på 100 meter uden biler (bortset fra beboere) til at gå til centrum af den gamle landsby Valbonne. Der er masser af parkeringspladser til din bil.

Home away from home

We found the property by chance on VRBO few years ago and have been back twice since and will be returning with our 4&6 year old kids again this July! We have come to think of it as our French home away from home. The house is beautifully located and the interior and exterior space makes for a fabulous family vacation. The pool on the lower terrace gives enough separation that you can keep the kids safely away and the pool alarm adds that extra level of comfort. The owners continue to maintain and upgrade the property well and the new BBQ area on the terrace gets used daily for those lunch and evening meals overlooking the valley. The short stroll to town is easy and avoids having to worry about cars and parking, although a glass or two of Provence wine helps with the walk back up the hill afterwards which could be a challenge for those less mobile. Most hire cars will fit up the lane to the house (we had a Volvo C90 last year and were fine) but if you have a very large people carrier it can get a little narrow to maneuver round the corner at the bottom. The house is perfect for one or two families to enjoy a wonderful escape.

We are happy that the review writer who is coming a long way from overseas to our house appreciates our new BBQ area. We recently installed the BBQ ( gas grill) and a big dining table with ten chairs in the newly adapted back patio which is covered and protected . The front patio offers a smaller dining table, lounge chairs as well as a chimney with a charcoal grill and enjoys a large view to the south over the pool to the hills on the opposite side of Valbonne. The front patio is very sunny, the back patio is cooler in hot summer days, both are intimate and secluded, nobody can see you there. The private path leading from the old village to our house ends at our house in a dead end and is extremely quiet. You hardly ever meeet a car of a neighbor on this path. It is narrow, but the crane and the trucks all used this path when we had the house constructed. The advantage is that there is no traffic on this private lane, no noise at all, you enjoy a very privileged location so close the the old village and yet you will not hear anything at all from the lively animation and activities in the village. In our property there is a parking for two cars at the entrance gate and enough space in the courtyard of our house to park several cars. So we advise you to go on foot to the village and enjoy your glass or two of rosé de Provence as does this review writer.

My favorite 2 weeks of the summer

We have had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful villa for several weeks each summer for 8 years. We always return to this special house located within walking distance to the restaurants and boutiques of charming Valbonne. My two daughters have grown up returning each summer and every time, the owner has made appropriate updates to make our stay even better. The views and outdoor seating areas are spectacular. The bedrooms are well appointed. We always look forward to this trip and hope we can continue going.

You are our most loyal guest in our house and we thank you so much for your fidelity In your remark you recommend our house to families with teenagers and young children, but also to guests of age 55+ Teenagers have indeed many possibilities, just below our road is an evening club for teenagers, a cinema often with English films, a range of inexpensive small restaurants for young people and of-course all the bars and beaches for the youth in Cannes and Antibes, securly reached by regular bus service in just 20 minutes . Even the teenagers can afford the subsidized flat bus fair of only € 1.50 to go to Cannes, Antibes or Grasse. As you mention, your two daughters who have grown up every summer here, have often enjoyed all this. The adults love to go down on foot one minute to the old village and have dinners without using the car. You leave your car at the house and do not worry about parking in the village or alcohol controls by the police........... Valbonne is also a perfect staring point for sightseeing when you want to visit the touristically most interesting places in the region. And Valbonne village offers the most famous fruit and gourmand shops in the area, excellent butchers, a renowned shop for sea food and very fine chocolate shops beside the very reputed and much frequented market on every Friday. All this within reach of one or two minutes on foot from the house. Or you just relax by the pool which can be heated and use the outside dining area with the two grills ( one coal grill, one gas grill) for a barbecue evening with your family around the dining table on the two large covered patios. You are on top of the village and do not hear anything from the traffic and noise of the roads below. You can admire the beauty of the views over the hills from the patio and enjoy the quiet location of our property. We hope to welcome you many times still in the future

Coming back this summer-so nice!

We spent two weeks here last summer with 4 adults and one child. The accommodations are first rate and the house well air conditioned. The AC was very important to us as we are accustomed to it in the hot summers and it made such a BIG difference. The pool and environment very secluded and very clean with pool service provided. We loved the outdoor terrace and spent every evening viewing the stars and morning coffees were enjoyed every day, too. Interiors lovely and kitchen we'll-equipped. We are so looking forward to staying here again with our friends from England who are happy to join us again. Delightful soujourn and a short walk to town for our daily bread and Friday markets are a big event. You should not miss staying here if you get the chance; we have stayed elsewhere and this is the best. Oh... Wifi works & is always an essential for us wherever we travel in the world.

We loved your remark that this is the best house in which you spent your holidays. Thank you so much for this compliment. What we and our guests appreciate most is the intimacy of our south-oriented villa. It is completely secluded, nobody can see you in the garden, in the pool or on the patio or terrace; yet you are only one minute on foot away from the old village’s centre of Valbonne, our16 century old village with its 12 century abbey and church. The village has many restaurants at all ranges of prices, and many shops and markets. The beauty is that you do not need a car to go out shopping and dining and you can go on foot to the local bar, club, restaurant or cinema. There are other houses that claim to be close to the village, but you have to take a busy road with lot of heavy car traffic on it, whereas our villa is on top of a small private path with a dead end that leads you in one minute on foot directly into the heart of the old village of Valbonne. No through traffic, at the most a car of a neighbor passes you on your 100 meter stroll to the village Or of course you can also remain in the entirely fenced-in garden and secured pool or go to Cannes and its beaches in 20 minutes by car or by bus ( fare only €1.50 ), the bus stops just 100 meters from the house and brings you right to Cannes. We look forward to have you again in our house

In 2020 the house is only available from Saturday 4 July 2020 up to 1 August 2020 and from Saturday 5 September 2010 to 3 October 2020 as other weeks have been booked already

Our house is on top of a private lane, right at the dead end, very quiete and secluded, yet one minute on foot to the center of the old village of Valbonne. From other houses in walking distance to the village you have to use a much frequented road with heavy traffic, whereas on our lane you go on foot one minute and will not meet a car except from a neighbor who also lives on this private lane . We have a private parking space for 2 extra guest cars in front of the gate and enough parking room for your own cars directly in the courtyard of the house
