What an exceptionally special place Barbara shares with guests. The bijou bungalow exceeded all expectations and truly made our month-long stay in Ojai extra special.

The photos represent the cottage perfectly. Beautiful furnishings and sparkling clean. Lovely to hear the fountain right outside the dining room door--for indoor/outdoor living. Barbara is a very gracious host.

Beautiful cottage, fabulous location

We had a wonderful time, staying at this little cottage in Ojai. It is right in town, next to Libbey park. The owner has impeccable taste and attention to detail. It was very comfortable. The flowing water fountain in back was soothing and the patio was a delight to sit on in the evening.. We would love to visit again. Note: the kitchen is well stocked, but no microwave.

Beautiful Designer Cottage

We loved staying at the cottage! The location is perfect, across the street from Libby Park, one block to Westridge Market, and one block to the Main Street with shops and restaurants. Barbara has thought of everything and is an awesome host!

Home away from home

Barb and Sol, the owners of this Chic Cottage become instant like family the moment you move into their absolutely perfect home. It is like being in a spa of your own. Every detail is taken care of from the extremely comfortable beds with high quality linen to the organic detergent for clothes. Art books carefully chosen and an outside terrace for meals. It is a safe and beautiful place which we would definitely come back to.

Relaxing and Clean Cottage

My old roommate and I came to the Ojai cottage for a catch-up/girlfriend weekend; it was the first time for both of us in Ojai. The cottage did not disappoint--it was exactly as described and the location was perfect for walking into town. Barbara the owner, and Laura, the property manager do a wonderful job of decorating/maintaining the home. Quality linens and towels, comfortable beds, ample dishware and glasses abound. We appreciated having cold Pellegrino waiting for us in the fridge upon our arrival and nice-smelling, natural dish, hand, and body soap--thank you for the attention to detail. We really enjoyed reading Barbara's thoughtful in-town recommendations (we walked the trail to the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa and the beautiful hiking trail at the end of Signal). We also thoroughly enjoyed the wicker sofas we lounged in in the front room--perfect for all our chats, with a nice view of the trees and park. I had to do some work and brought my laptop out to the backyard dining area often, which, amid the tranquil water fountain and shade, was a very comfortable place to work. Thank you, Laura and Barbara, for providing such a clean and welcoming home. My friend is not from the area but I will definitely be back!

Ojai Visit

We stayed in the cottage to celebrate my 50th Birthday and it was one of the best homes we've rented through VRBO. The home was very comfortable with beautiful furnishings and a really nice garden in the backyard. There is a park across the street and you're only a block away from the downtown shops and restaurant. I played Golf at both Ojai Valley Inn and Soule Park and it is less than 5 minutes away from the home. Lots of places within walking distance and a great coffee shop I walked to every morning. Very pleased overall with our stay. Dino & Julia Irvine, Ca

Beautiful Cottage & Convenient Location in Ojai

We rented this beautiful cottage last weekend. Everything is conveniently located within walking distance of this place! Laura and Barbara were very accommodating, flexible and hospitable during our entire stay. It was a little warm during our visit but the AC functioned beautifully keeping my pregnant wife comfortable. In the evenings it was really nice to hang out in the back courtyard near the fountain. In the daytime we loved lounging in the living room area where the couches were very comfortable. The manager's had beverages waiting for us in the fridge upon our arrival and had a nice local guide for recommended restaurants and activities to do. Any time we wanted to get some food or go out we just opened the guide and found what locals like to do in Ojai. We had such a great experience and hope to return soon with the baby!
