Right on the beach and close to plenty of activities

The property is in a great location right on the beach. Close to restaurants and other activities. The size is great for a couple, quiet, and relaxing.

This was a great place to stay. Clean, quiet, and secure. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to access food and shopping. No complaints about the unit or host. It is a nice complex and I recommend it to anyone.

Hot water valve in shower was nearly inoperable. Glass in cabinet door over refrigerator fell out when opening due to poor retention of glass (screws apear to be too small and pulled out). Broken glass cut my foot and require first aid. Sliding door to patio was terrible..wouldn't lock and kept coming out of the guide track. Internet was spotty last two days.

Hi Richard, we are extremely sorry you had these inconveniences and, sincerely, that you had an accident with our glass cabinet. This is not the experience we want to offer our guests. Rest assured, we have taken the matters very seriously and replaced the glass cabinets with tempered glass instead, to prevent any accidents in the future. Additionally, we repaired the hot water valve and the sliding door. The internet is working very well at this time thankfully. Again, we sincerely apologize and hope you get well as soon as possible.

close to a very long beach

Place is very close to the beach, on the second floor, so very convenient. Also in the period we were there there were very few people in the whole complex, so it was very quiet. The apartment is fine, however there are a couple of things that could/should be improved: 1) there were no screens on the windows, and therefore lots of mosquitos came in 2) the mattress had still the plastic on it, which made it uncomfortable 3) the ventilation of the apartment is not great - the fan only works in the 1/2 bath, but not in the full bath

The apartment was great. It’s always nice having a full kitchen. Liked having 2 bathrooms and the balcony. Has beach chairs, a cooler and umbrella and the beach is just a few feet away. Liked that the tv was a smart tv so we could unwind with Netflix at night. We had an issue with the door lock not letting us in but we’re immediately able to contact someone and they got us in. The parking spaces for the unit are nice to have though further away from the unit than makes sense. Pool was nice, just wish they had a hot tub.

The property was overall pretty nice. When we arrived the security at the gate didn’t have our info. After about 20-30 minutes the nice man at the gate helped us get in. The remote that is supposed to open the gate doesn’t work. No hot water in the shower. Sliding glass door for the balcony doesn’t lock. The “ocean view” is definitely misleading and you CANNOT swim at this beach safely. Seaweed was present but that can be expected. The best part of this place was the quiet location and having plenty of space for my husband and I in the unit. The pool was nice and big. We rate this a 3.5/5.

Great spot

Villa Vareda is a well-kept condo complex in a very quiet area but is an easy drive from plenty of places to eat, beaches, and the rainforest. It's about 10 minutes to Luquillo and 15 minutes to Fajardo. The unit itself is great. Very clean, easy to access. You get a limited ocean view on a quiet, remote beach. The kitchen is stocked with the basics to get you started. A few notes - please know that NONE of these are actual complaints and in no way affected our stay. We'd not hesitate to return. -The hot and cold water taps are switched (hot water on the left) on the shower. Realized that after taking a cold shower and thinking the water heater must be out! -There was no kitchen trash can. No worries here, we just had a trash bag sitting out, but might be an issue for some. -The outdoor lighting on the complex is BRIGHT. It was pretty light in the bedroom and we kept waking up thinking the sun was rising. Some darker blinds would help. Overall we loved our stay and our property manager was fantastic - super easy to get in touch with and very responsive.

Great Value

We were so pleased with the condo for the money. It was even better than we hoped for at this price point. We loved the location, amenities and being in a gated community.

Quiet place near the beach

Great place to explore the area. The beach is a three-minute walk away. El Yunque rain forest is also close. Two golf resorts nearby (Wyndham Grand and Coco Beach/Grand Reserve). Check-in process was very easy with a lockbox so no waiting for anyone. Property manager was readily available by phone on multiple occasions for any questions I had. Overall good experience.
