Hello Heidi, and thanks for the recommendation on a pack-n-play, although we do not have this as a listed amenity. The hot tub is also not listed as an amenity and there are no photos of it, as it's very old and has never been a part of the rental. As for the trash, well there is no trash pickup in Northstar so all Guests have to take their trash to the dumpsters but luckily we are literally the closest home in all of Northstar to them as we are on the corner across the street! Sorry you couldn't find parking, but you could have called the number we provide in the Guest Binder as well as on the listing for free shuttle pickup! Thanks for staying with us, TAP

Hello, and we're happy to hear that you really enjoyed yourselves. As far as the pain by the stairwell, we are in discussion with a company who plans to paint that area, as the first job bubbled. Hi Jennifer, please understand that sometimes guests cause issues right before another stay and there's no way to address it in time. Since your departure, we have already professionally cleaned the entire homes carpets so the stain that was running down the stairs is gone as is the smelled because it was caused by garbage bags dripping as they were being taken down and outside. As for the BBQ, the Fire Department doesn't allow it to be within 10' of any structure, so we were forced to move it into the garage in order to pass our STR Fire Inspection. This rule applies to all STR's in the entire Placer County. We thought it being there was better than removing it from the home completely. Lastly, we do our best to keep up with pine needles and pollen outside throughout the Summer, have more patio furniture than is even shown in photos, and the kitchen lights are on a dimmer which we found all the way down after your stay and confirmed they don't flicker when turned up even a little bit. All in all we apologize to have not met your expectations, but a 3 STAR review seems a little harsh. We can assure you that all teams work very hard and efficiently to ensure our guests have a wonderful vacation. TAP

Hi Amanda and thank you for letting us know about bathroom plugs. We assume you are referring to outlets, so we will have a look. It's quite possible a breaker popped or a GFI outlet just needs to be reset. We are sorry that we missed you if you called, but we did not have any voicemail from you. If you have an urgent matter, we are here to assist, and it would be most helpful if you would leave a voicemail or send an email. With regards to the kitchen, it's actually very well stocked and guests have said so many times as well. In fact, we just spent around $500 on a ton of new kitchen items only a few months ago! Every home meets our extensive TAP inventory list, so I cannot imagine what you mean, or what we could have been missing, but you're always welcome to reach out in advance should you have a question about something in particular. Yes, we like every STR these days take the new STR Rules very seriously, but they are meant to be both educational and a warning to the consequences that exist now for our homeowners properties should any guests be in violation. If this is your first experience with STR Rules we suppose this reaction might make sense, but we're happy to be part of the solution and providing them is the first step. Hi Cliff and thanks for the comments, and sorry for the few missed items. We had scheduled a professional carpet cleaning but between their schedule and our busy reservations it's still 2 weeks out. Once done, it will look like new again. When entering the home we didn't smell cigarettes, but apologize our inspection agent seemed to not have gone out on the back deck, and for our last guests who unkindly left the mess. We have now tossed some items in the kitchen, and placed an order for a few pots, pans, and other various kitchen utensils so this home will now again meet our Minimum Inventory List as it once did. Hi Rodalyn and thanks for your kind words in regards to the space and cleanliness. I wanted to mention that this is now the 2nd review we have received that is 4STAR because the Hot Tub Room is locked. We do not mention having a Hot Tub at this house in our listing! We did not mark that as an Amenity either. Yes there is a locked room on the deck as the 1 at the home is not functional, but we don't mention having 1. We do mention having NPOA Amenity access though, as you need to take the Guest Passes down to the Rec Center, which has the Arcade, Gym, Tennis Courts, Playground, Hot Tub, Sauna, Etc. We do NOT have a Hot Tub at/in this house... only over at the NPOA Rec Center. Thanks again for staying with us and we hope to host again in the future! Sincerely, TAP

Hi Michael, we just wanted to write back and say that we are happy you had a "solid VRBO experience with us". Also that we actually don't advertise having a hot tub at this rental... that's not in the listing description, photos, or the amenities, so it's a shame that was cause of a 4STAR review. While there is one at the rental as you saw while there, the room is locked off because it's been out of service looong before we took the home under management and began renting.
