Pool was very dirty upon arrival, but host had a company come out and clean it quickly. House is perfect for our family and this was our second visit. We will definitely come back. We love being close to the ocean, town, and amenities. The pool is perfect for the kids and grandkids to play with frequent breaks from the Florida sun.

Pool has big hole in liner I honestly don’t think it’s safe if a foot gets caught in it someone could get hurt or drowned. Lawn needs mowing and shrubs need trimming, we thought it looked abandoned from the outside. Lawn was mowed while we were there and debris thrown all in the pool so therefore the last day before check out we couldn’t use it. Don’t do laundry because the dryer doesn’t work properly.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay at Gathering Shore did not meet your expectations. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with the pool and the lawn maintenance. Please rest assured that we take safety seriously and are addressing the pool liner as a priority. Additionally, we are looking into the lawn service timing and the dryer issue to prevent this from happening in the future. We appreciate your bringing these matters to our attention, as it helps us improve our services. Thank you for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide a better experience on your next visit.

First off, let me say the house itself was fine and as described. It was clean and neat. But the pool was not, the liner is ripped and a molded on parts that were not attached to the pool. The stairs to the pool ladder were very unstable and not usable especially for kids. I reached out multiple times to the maintenence and totally got the run around about coming out to fix the ladder. I rented the place from the 29th until the 8th. Someone finally came out the 7th at 700pm to address the ladder. We are leaving the morning on the 8th. Not acceptable. My kids did not use the pool the whole time. Again I say the pool was a huge influence on me renting the property. Sadly I will not rent again. The yard was also not mowed. Hopefully the next guests will have a better experience. I will also be reaching out the VRBO. All in all I give the experience a 2.
