This sunny chalet-style home will set the tone for a fun Manzanita getaway for the whole family. The soaring vaulted ceiling and high windows bring light and air into the living room, where contemporary furnishings and a large TV share space with a wood stove. The kitchen has a pass-through window and a small breakfast bar—on the other side of the wall there’s all you’ll need to cook complete meals and serve them in the dining room which has room for six. Through sliding doors you can enjoy a large deck furnished for meals or just kicking back and enjoying the ocean breeze. Two comfortable bedrooms (1 with a King Bed, and 1 with a Queen bed) share a hallway bath. You’re on a nice wooded lot in a residential area off the beaten path, but it’s still an easy walk to the beach or the village. Come see why this place is amazing—and enjoy all the fun activities of the North Oregon Coast!

The house has very comfortable feel to it and we loved the funky vibe. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, which is hard to come by in other rentals I've stayed at.

The accommodations included a nice set of pans and kitchen gadgets (crock pot, blender, manual juicer). Which is a plus for me since I enjoy cooking what we catch. Also, the master bedroom is very quiet and comfortable.

A friend and I stayed over Spring Break with our 12 year old daughters. We had an amazing time. You can walk to both the town and beach, the house was perfect, and very chatty. 10/10

This cozy house met all of my beach vacation needs! I like to cook a lot of my meals, and the kitchen was well stocked with pans and spices! The bed was firm and comfortable, and I slept like babies. The neighborhood was quiet, and I felt safe during my visit. Downtown shops and the beach are within a short walk. My friends came for an evening visit, and we had a wonderful time playing cards. There was plenty of room for us to be comfortable. I had a perfect stay at this house!

Loved Manzanita, and this house is nestled into a hillside with trees surrounding, and a lovely deck to relax on. We loved the huge windows and sliding glass doors leading to the deck. Our visit was during an unusually warm spell for the area, so it did get a little warm inside with no AC, but with windows open and fans, the evenings were comfortable. I'm not a huge beach person, but I love coastlines where there are mountains and woods nearby to explore to in between beach walks, and Manzanita was perfect for that. The hike to the peak of Mt. Neahkahnie was challenging for a 50-something who hasn't been keeping up with is cardio, but was totally worth it! Map your route before you go as we had a bit of trouble finding the south trailhead, and the trail that led to the peak!

I'm happy the fans and open windows helped in the evenings during the warm spell. The home does not have air conditioning, and on rare warm periods the interior can warm up—opening multiple windows, running fans, and keeping shades closed during the hottest part of the day can help. We’ll also evaluate additional cooling options for future stays. We hope you'll consider staying with us again!

Relaxing Getaway

Great house - close to the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay - house was very clean and comfortable. Just a few minutes to walk to town and to the beach. We were just in town for a couple of days, but had a fun and relaxing time!

Wonderful little bungalow

Great little bungalow in beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Our stay here was super comfy especially the king size bed. The beach, restaurants, stores are all very close by. We would love to stay again on our next trip.

Lovely cottage near the beach

The place was really lovely, quiet, cute and well stocked. the bed and linens were super comfy, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and things to cook, the place was nicely decorated, and the washer and dryer were great to have.
