~ ~ Denne enhed er på øverste etage og benævnes en "penthouse" -enhed. Fordi lofterne er højere, føles det åbent for himlen. Med en fantastisk udsigt over både bjerg og hav stiger solen og solnedgange en blanding af en betagende udsigt. Når solen begynder at gå ned, gå et par skridt op til tagterrassen med udsigt til en BBQ-middag eller se hvalerne ryge i sæsonen. Derudover er ånden i "Old Hawaii" repræsenteret af den gamle Kalepolepo fiskedam, der springer ud fra stranden nedenfor. Hawaiiansk lore siger, at Menehunes byggede fiskedammen på en nat. Ifølge legenden er Menehunes et dværgfolk, der bor i de dybe skove og øer skjulte dale. Dammen giver beskyttet svømning til Keiki (børn), da de ser efter tropiske fisk og et perfekt sted til snorkling eller en morgen svømning.

Wonderful location

We had a great time staying here. Lots of time spent on the patio staring out at the amazing view of the ocean. The communication was great and the condo was clean and had everything we needed.

Great week on the beach

The property was very clean, check-in was smooth and easy. We loved listening to the waves right from the condo and spent lots of time walking the beach. This was a great location, very convenient to get to various places around the island.

Amazing Maui

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kihei. The rental process was smooth and check in/out was simple. The beach to the right of the property is perfect for small children because it has a wall that breaks the waves. It is also really shallow. You can see turtles early each morning in this area too!

Great Stay!

We had a great stay at this property which was situated perfectly among the nice town of Kihei. It was a penthouse condo that had an amazing view of the beach and sunsets over the ocean in the evening. There were plenty of sea turtles resting on the property and everything was low key for as busy as the surrounding areas were. There are plenty of shopping opportunities close by as well as short drives to most all recreational opportunities. This place is close by to everything that we needed but just far enough away to be able to relax after a fun filled day in Maui!

Fun family getaway

Great views and condo with excellent A/C! All appliances were up-to-date and the beds were wonderful. Beach chairs and a cooler to use too! The property managers made access to the condo very convenient and were great to work with. I really liked the check-in calls and text messages. An added bonus was using the Wiki Wiki car rental service connected to the property, which made our trip super easy!

Condo Property inside could have been a little cleaner/neater. Pots and pans had not been very well cleaned, or they just need to be replaced. Overall, we had a great time.

Beautiful condo

We had a wonderful stay. Everything you need to cook meals. The kitchen and throughout the condo was very clean and well taken care of. The concierge was very helpful and checked in to make sure everything was good. Lots of extras like a cooler and beach chairs. Great view from the linai. Enjoyed the pool area and bbq on the roof top. We even had turtles come to the beach in the evening! Highly recommend this condo!

Look no further!

We had a wonderful time staying, we love the amenities to the detail of decor of the unit & everything in between. Every morning Turtles come to rest on the shore of the beach on the property and it was exciting to see and photograph. This property was in a great location to many close by beaches, restaurants & shopping! The property management made us feel special by personally greeting & meeting us on arrival and followed up after night 1 with a text to see if we slept well, were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything, so great customer service touch! I would most definitely would stay here again, it made our trip comfortably and enjoyable!

Lovely Condo

This was a lovely condo with good views and plenty of space for the 5 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed and they provided beach chairs if you wanted them. Having a full sized washer and dryer was wonderful. We didn’t try the restaurant downstairs but it was busy every night so we guessed it must have been good. The rooftop views were outstanding. The condo is right next door to the humpback whale society and there’s a fishpond out front that gives you a lot of protection against waves when you go for a swim.

Aloha, I am writing this as an update to my previous review. I wanted to thank Angelina and the Ali'i Resorts team for taking care of the few issues we had with the unit and accommodating all of our requests. Excellent! The grounds and facility are very good and the location is perfect for an island getaway. With upgrades, this unit will be worth the investment of your holiday dollars. The rating I gave is based on the unit. I would give a 4 star to the resort. It is extremely convenient to all parts of the island and activities as well.

Everything We Needed

We were a little underwhelmed when we first drove into the parking lot. The outside of the building was nothing magical. Going into the unit we decided this place was going to be great. Awesome view, clean and cute/bright condo with everything we needed right there. The back of the condo is where the magic happens. The grounds are beautiful, the teens loved the pool, the beach access was awesome and the beach “pool” is amazing! We watched the turtles swim in in the evening and you cannot find a better sunset view. We BBQ’d on the rooftop 2 evenings, grills were spotless and worked great. Our one and only complaint was the a/c vent on the lanai felt like sitting next to a heater/blow dryer…but it was hard to complain about that when you step back inside to the nice cool a/c!! Overall our stay was spectacular, we will definitely be back! Kihei was great, not so resorty if that’s what you’re looking for…more like a California beach town with great restaurants and food trucks, we loved it!

Disappointing Unit 623

We were immediately taken aback by the size of the so called "large kitchen" as the fridge is dented from hitting the dishwasher door right across from it!! The tub has a chip in the enamel, the drape rod to the lanai came apart as soon as I treid to open the drapes, the drawer handle came off in my hand in the kitchen and the doors to the cupbpards are all chipped, the shower is so old the floor can't be cleaned and the handle to the door is coming off. I have photos and will upload when I calm down!! For a few hundred dollars more we could have had the better places furher south. Stay away from this unit until they take care of it. The property is pretty nice and on the ocean but, when they warn you about making sure the entire unit is locked up all the time - with no air conditioning - how do you stay comfortable?? I need to discuss a refund and go elsewhere. I hate writing these things but, it is real Don

The maintenance items you brought to our attention were addressed immediately and resolved with exception to the larger remodel request. The owner of this condo has planned a renovation for the summer of 2016. We feel this condo is an excellent value considering its ocean front location; and we pride ourselves on marketing the unit in its true form and with up-to-date photographs. Great getaway

This property was excellent. Close and convenient to the beach. Very easy access to any place we wanted to go. We were all comfortable . It was also very quiet. The only little negative was the parking spaces were very narrow. But we just parked further away and got a few more steps in! Lastly the check in process was difficult. My iPhone wouldn’t let me access them on-line form. It kept telling me it was dangerous. I called to let the rental company know. They just told me that it was not dangerous. That didn’t convince my phone. I was finally after about a half an hour able to by pass my phone’s protection and access the app and sign the agreements. It would have been a much easier process if I could have done it before I left home. We were tired and hot and my patience level wasn’t too great to put up with the issue. I think they should use a different process. What if we didn’t have a cell phone? It also would have been nice to know before we got into the condo that the various keys to access the pool and roof top were in a bowl on the counter. We found them after a few minutes, but didn’t know that they were there until we looked. So our issue was with the rental company, not the unit! But once we got in, it was all lovely. We went to the roof every night to see the sun set. We had a great time!

Loved the condo, & the furniture & decor & the proximity to the beach

Overall our experience was great, the following comments are suggestions for updates to give guests a better experience. If I can suggest anything….would be to update the drinking glasses. There are lots of very nice glass wineglasses but everyday drinking glasses were almost entirely plastic, cracked (one leaked), & old. Some glass drinking glasses need to be added & the plastic glasses replaced. The condo is well stocked but could use some small items: A few spatulas, wooden spoons, garlic press, oil or pastry brush, some way of disposing grease (container), more toilet paper. At an average of $409 per night for 2 weeks, we were supplied two rolls of toilet paper for 4 people per week. It needs the correct sized coffee filters for the amazing coffee maker. The wrong size & shape were supplied. A few more spices for cooking like garlic salt and salt & pepper would be nice. On a positive note, there were plenty of Corelle dishes, & pans etc. The freezer needs to be looked at; it’s not cold enough, the ice cream was mushy when it’s turned to it’s coldest setting. We would definitely come back to stay at this condo & unit. Thank-you!

Wonderful family trip

We so enjoyed the location and amenities. Very responsive resort front desk contacts. Kids loved seeing the turtles and the beach access was awesome. Will definitely come back again!! Aloha!!!

Location is great!

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen has upgraded appliances and fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots/pans. The bathrooms are upgraded. The washer/dryer a plus! We had plenty of clean bath towels, pillows and kitchen and beach towels. The elevator near the condo was not available and made for a long walk but appears to be in the process of repair. The A/C timer was a pain! We would wake up uncomfortable and have to turn the timer back on at 2am or whenever the time was up. The timer is set up to 6 hours but I don't think a full 6 hours. There is an Indian restaurant located in the center of the complex. The smell of Indian spices was quite strong. There is a pool and outdoor shower. We had a nice beach and walk path. Other than the A/C timer and broken elevator, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the kindness of the management team.

Great condo and roof. Gatherings every night on the roof with conch shell tributes.
