We stayed here for nearly two months, so this review reflects an extended stay rather than a weekend visit. The home has a great layout and a lot of potential, but several issues affected our experience. The garbage disposal never worked, and both the kitchen and upstairs bathroom sinks repeatedly clogged. We reported the problem, but ultimately had to remove large clumps of hair from the drains ourselves. The blue chair in the living room is broken and gives way when you sit in it. The kitchen is also minimally stocked for a long stay, with limited utensils, plates, glassware, towels, and basic cooking supplies. Several towels smelled like mildew, and the mattresses, pillows, and bedding are overdue for replacement. Many of the appliances, especially the coffee maker, are also very dated. If you’re staying for more than a few days, plan on bringing or buying extra kitchen items, trash bags, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, and cleaning supplies, as these aren’t replenished. Unfortunately, our vehicles were also broken into one night during our stay. Before posting this review, I shared these concerns privately with the owner, who responded professionally and said they planned to address many of the issues. I genuinely hope they do, because this property could be excellent with a little more attention to maintenance and the long-term guest experience.
