I read all the reviews beforehand so i knew what everyone had said. All the same. Furniture could use and update, mattresses also. But the house was clean and close to everything. Neighborhood was nice, people very friendly and we had a great week. Id stay again for sure.

Great place to stay!

This was a great home away home. We had a total of 5 families and there was plenty of space for everyone.The kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub area. The Oasis clubhouse was great as well. The location was close to all the parks and restaurants and we would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation!!

Best vacation home

The house was very accommodating to our large group that stayed here. The living room, kitchen, and dining room was very spacious and didn’t feel too small when we were all inside the house. You had a great view of the pool from inside the house so it was easy for the adults to relax while the kids enjoyed themselves.

Fantastic house!

We had our whole family there for a week! It was fantastic. Perfect layout and everyone was very comfortable! Only 10 minutes from all the parks! I would highly recommend this house for anyone with a large family and want to all stay together!!

Disney Family Adventure

I wanted a quiet place to stay and for everyone to have a place to retreat after long days at the park. This property did not disappoint! Large kitchen for gathering, Everyone’s bedroom had a bathroom, so no problems getting ready in morning and waiting for bathroom time! We had one family with kids and they had their own “wing” in the house. We all agreed that we would stay here again.

Fabulous Stay

We loved everything about this property! It easily accommodated all of us (10 adults and 4 kids). Rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was wonderful. We opted to pay for the pool heater and the staff on site was there in a flash to help us with that. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us - we left with some great memories!

Vacation with family

The location of the house is excellent, very convenient to the parks, restaurants and shopping.. The house is very spacious but could use some TLC and cleaning. The kitchen could be better equipped for food preparation. The pool was great and enjoyed by all.

Love the house!

I love the house…finally a house where upstairs isn’t so hot and had right size tv’s n each bedroom that was a biiig ol plus!!! Love the area it was in so definitely was peaceful and quiet. The only thing bad was they needed more bowls for cereal. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone n would stay again.

Great house!

House was great and super spacious for our group of 11. Loved the open layout of the living room and kitchen. Would definitely stay again. One small issue we had was that there were only two towels in the kids jack and jill bathroom that is connected to two bedrooms with 2 bunk beds in each room (sleeps 8 kids). Other than that everything was great.

Great house

This property met all our needs. The pool was wonderful. The kids and adults really enjoyed the pool. It was close to disney and so was grocery shopping. Had a few issues like a toliet and the patio door. Both were fixed by Tuesday. I would recommend this home to anyone that has a large family.

Mickey and Minnie Mansion Experience

The size was perfect for our group. Location was excellent and very easy to get to all Disney parks and anything you might need. The gated community was very well maintained. Wish the recycling program was explained better with regard to only being put in a certain grey bag and no seperate bin from garbage. Some slight upgrades needed like replacing chairs that have loose legs and the vinyl coming off, and large patio door very difficult to open. The overall appearance and quality of the home we great and we very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you from the Canadians.

fine

lets start with house was fine for our family. pool was heated in time for kids , they did enjoy it. location is good for all parks. a few things we were disappointed in. house did not smell clean or were counter tops clean we had to do it. furniture needs to be updated every thing very worn and beat up looking. the outdoor furniture is VERY worn and some chairs broken. the fruit flies coming out of sink drains, dish washer and garbage disposal were the worst, we tried bleaching everything, nothing worked

Property was nice for the family. Very spacious and nice rooms especially upstairs. That being said furniture downstairs very dated and one of the couches felt broken. Pretty much the amenities are there but dated. Game room is a nice thought but pool cues are damaged and Foosball table needs work. Love the pool and the spring but no railings for access so if you have older people in the group it can be challenging. There needs to be better instruction regarding the trash. There was some communication regarding what to do if there was too much trash but nothing about where to go. Also, the instructions clearly state that the bin needed to be empty and whole bags only. However we arrive. The trash bin was half full of loose items so when the valet was collecting the trash they would only collect the trash bags. We put in them individually and not actually empty the bin making it more difficult when we were leaving to get all the trash out. All in all the house is nice. Pool is nice. The amenities are there. Just really needs to be updated and maybe some more instructions regarding checkout.

Disney trip

The house was very nice. The internet was not hooked up so we had to do that. Also none of the TVs were hooked into the cable box. We did that and then it was okay. There were not enough towels. Called to get more and it took a day and a half. We did use the washer but there were not enough from the start. Other then that the house was beautiful, beds were very comfortable. There is plenty of room in this house. I would most definitely book this house again!

We can only guess that the previous guest who left the same morning had done something. We will ask the inspection team to check this in future. We also apologize that you found that there weren't enough towels for your group/family - even after we delivered more to you. We're always happy to deliver more if needed. Many big bedrooms & baths. Great pool & game room. ( get heated pool though)Problems fixed quickly

Problems fixed quickly like cockroaches, stopped sink & garbage disposal, tv & WiFi reset, loose chair leg, broken door lock. Called-fixed next day. Great air cond. and roomy location on cul de sac. Good mattresses, lots of towels. We came for a wonderful family reunion. Not disappointed. Would return again. Modern & clean. Nice gathering space upstairs. Close to Disney properties and shopping. Memorize door code. Great picture location by clubhouse. DVD accessible. Had a fun week vacation w/ family. Disney in daytime- pool afternoon- games at night or Disney fireworks & parade. Bunk rooms great for kids but trouble w/ only 1 bath between bunk rooms. Lots of hangers & drawers. Get lots if paper York’s, napkins, toilet paper, laundry detergent & dryer sheets, also tin foil, paper plates & plastic bags. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Wonderful!!!

The house and pool was very clean. The carpet needs to be stretched in a few places but was not bad. We had trouble with the pool not heating, but I called and the problem was taken care of super quick. The timer had cut off. 3 days before our trip was over the washer went out, but being a Sunday and then Monday New Years Day we could not get it repaired. This was not to big of a problem because the house was stocked with plenty of towels and of course we had all over packed clothes not counting all the items we bought. Everyone will Villa Direct was awesome to work with. They tried really hard to make sure our stay was what we had dreamed of for a year. We where a party of 11 ages 65 to 10. We had more than enough room to spread out and enjoy. We have used VRBO and Villa Direct many times in different states and have always been pleased.Thank you for your service and to your employees.

Spacious but lacking; Don't rent from Villa Direct

Spacious accommodations. Minimal line at gate but then had to go to the clubhouse to get a key which is a $20 per car extra fee that was buried in the paperwork. No kitchen towels and took over 12 hours to get some. Microwave door was literally broken in half - how could cleaning crew not notice unless they never cleaned it. Toilet had paper band across it but there was tp in the toilet so again, how could this happen unless it was never cleaned. When I asked for a replacement microwave, they sent a technician who confirmed it. No one called so three calls later, I was told they didn't have any and best they could do was for me to go out and purchase one and they would reimburse me. (which they did). No follow-up with me, just a credit card credit. Carpet is stretched so looks like snakes all over the place. How does one clean it I wonder. Pool and patio was clean...only 5 chairs at a 6 person table. Also, chairs were torn/worn indoors so definitely in need of replacement. One guest room had a headboard that was fake leather and peeling so bad all over the pillows and bed - piled up behind the headboard....gross. At least two of the showers were clogged really bad. Yuck to stand in dirty water. One 13 gallon trash bag for a place that sleeps 18? Two hairdryers didn't work....left a note with them on the kitchen table. Hopefully, they will be replaced. We certainly left it cleaner than we found it. Never would I rent from Villa Direct again. Met people in the clubhouse that had worse experiences than we did...again Villa Direct. Hope this helps them improve their business model.

Hi Pamela We're very sorry that you had such an apparently poor experience when staying in this property. All guests that stay at Emerald Island are now subject to a $20 per vehicle charge. We include this information on the advert for our guests attention and we're sorry if you didn't see it. We disagree with this charge, but the HOA has imposed it on all guests and it is the HOA that charges the vehicle fee. As soon as our maintenance technician had been to visit (within 4 hours of your initial call), we ordered a replacement microwave, but it did not arrive until immediately after your departure. As you said, VillaDirect was happy to refund you for the cost of the microwave that you purchased, or we could also have delivered a temporary/spare one from our stores. We're really not sure what else we could have done in the circumstances? We have asked the owner on previous occasions to replace the carpet, and that is scheduled to be done in the Summer of 2022. While being stretched, the carpet is cleaned and vacuumed regularly. Thanks for bringing the other matters and complaints to our attention. Unfortunately, if you don't tell us, we can't respond. We will address the issues that are within our control immediately. Unfortunately, the condition of the furniture is something that we are only able to bring to the owner clients attention. We were very surprised that you chanced to meet with the one other VillaDirect guest that stayed in Emerald Island on the specific days that you were there... quite a coincidence! It's also strange that that guest left us a 5 Star review on VRBO following their stay? While we had 14 properties booked in Emerald Island - 12 of them were owners staying in their homes that week. We sincerely hope that you are able to find a property and a company that meet your expectations the next time you visit Orlando.

Für eine Gruppe teilweise zu wenig Inventar

Wir reisten mit sieben Personen an und mussten feststellen, dass teilweise Inventar und Sitzplätze nicht ausreichend zur Verfügung standen. Die Bilder ließen anderes erwarten. Ansonsten fühlten wir uns in dem Ferienhaus wohl und verbrachten erholsame Tage.
