Fantastic location. We very much enjoyed the house and views with the huge balcony you can eat drink and relax there. The home is spacious and has all amenities you need for a family. The host provided all the information we needed and it all went smoothly. The only criticism was there was hardly any hand soap dish soap dishwasher tablets or laundry pods and as were were in a road trip we really did want to buy these things for a four day stay otherwise we loved our stay. We visited the local bar the lucky rabbit where we enjoyed dinner and live music

Incredible House with the Best Views

I had my bachelor party here and it was amazing. We spent almost all weekend on the porch watching the incredible views that this house offers. I highly recommend staying here especially considering how amazing the hosts are.

Beautiful home with amazing hilltop views. Morning coffee was spent on the top deck listening and watching the many birds in the area. We will definitely be staying here again. Loved it!

Christmas On a Hill

Beautiful home with lovely views, made especially fun at night with holiday lights about and scattered fireworks. Kitchen well equipped for cooking and baking holiday treats. Many options for eating out as well. We enjoyed some local food as well as nearby hiking. Great location for our visit with family in both Georgetown and Killeen.

Great View-- Great time

House was amazing. View is awesome, house is everything it is advertised to be -- a rarity among rentals. Spent almost the entire weekend on the deck which is the best part of the house. Property and grounds are kept in immaculate condition. The only reason I rated communication with the property manager a 5 is because there wasn't a 6! Hilda was great and with us every step of the way. She checked on us after a stormy night and wanted to make sure our stay was memorable, which it certainly was. We will for sure be back.

detestable

First and foremost, the impression of this trip to Jonestown (Austin) was truly a tragedy-disaster in the entire time of our vacation. Despite the awesome view and our preparation to spend a pleasant time there, it has given us a most ridiculous experience over there. The bedroom beds were extremely smelly and dirty. We even found a lady's hair rubber band underneath a pillow!!! None of us could sleep well at night. The upstairs' balcony door did not have an appropriate door gasket, and the door kept opening with a little wind and one time it opened and hit one of the residents' thumbs and caused a fraction. The outside furniture was torn and damaged. The wooden stairs were rotted and a step was broken and it was extremely dangerous, especially for toddlers/kids. In regard to, some photos have been attached here.

Hi Reza, thank you for taking the time to leave a review about your stay. After reviewing your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following:- The beds were cleaned thoroughly, with mattress protectors freshly washed before your arrival. Our cleaning partner assured us there was no odor, but we apologize if you felt otherwise.- The balcony door requires the flush bolt to be engaged so it stays securely closed. Clear labels are present on the door to guide guests, but disengaging the bolt can cause it to open in strong winds, as happened during your stay.- The patio furniture you mentioned was located on a rarely used sun deck, which was not intended for regular guest use. The main patios are well-maintained with high-quality furniture and are in excellent condition.- We were unaware of the broken step on the wooden stairs and apologize for the oversight. It will be repaired as soon as the current guests depart.Thank you for sharing your experience. Your feedback helps us make necessary improvements for future stays.

Great retreat location!

Four old friends from high school had a great long weekend visit at this beautiful property. Fabulous home, expansive views and privacy, yet lots of food and amenities close by. We've already contemplated a return trip. Super responsive and accommodating management.

Nice but definitely not worth the rental rate.

View is ok but not mentioned is the traffic noise from a major farm to market road. The master bed mattress is shot. The master bath ceiling fan is very grimy and oddly all the soap dispensers save one were filled with dish soap. There is no grill which was ok with us but then there was only 1 oven mitt. Oh and bring your own Kleenex. Got to say I won’t be returning.

Hi Margie, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: 1) The mattress is less than 2-years old and is a high-quality expensive mattress, but we're sorry this specific mattress did not suit your preference. 2) We will speak with our cleaning staff about these issues. 3) The home is located in a small town overlooking the hills and lake. There is some traffic but we don't advertise the home as secluded. 4) We don't advertise a grill for this listing. 5) We take pride in our property and want guests to enjoy themselves at this great location. Thanks for letting us know about your stay!

It’s a beautiful home needs some improvement

This is a beautiful home the views are amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Our only issue was the two downstairs bedrooms we had 2 small lizards that got in shoes and suitcases. We had to get on the floor to get them ou and noticed underneath the beds were dead bugs and debris.. Behind the headboard was cobwebs and and dead spiders. It was cold in the house and we had to request the It warmed up quickly after that. Loved the views !

Home Away from Home

This house was the perfect home away from home getaway we needed to celebrate our annual Friendsgiving. The home is gorgeous and spacious enough for everyone to have their area to relax in. The patio views overlooking the natural landscape is simply stunning! I hope to return soon.
