Perfect Vacation

We had an amazing time spending it at the beach and in the evenings being together at this house. It was not a bad walk to the beach and house was in top top shape! Beautifully decor throughout.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. The reservation process was flawless and we had multiple questions answered to help us select the right property. The property was excellent - clean and well equipped. The overall resort was incredible. We had the vacation full of memories with family and friends.

Reservation process was almost too easy!

Reservation process was almost too easy! While staying at the property we had a minor issue, which was handled in a timely manner without interruption to our stay. The house was beautiful. The only recommendation I would suggest is an upgrade to the upstairs master mattress.

could be better

Check in process with 3rd party manager could be better. Time catch changing and you have to go to an off site location Compared to other rentals this property lacks essential items normally provided. Not even a salt and pepper shaker in kitchen and when they say two trash bags and two dishwasher pods they mean it. the actual house and location were nice but for the price their are better values with more amenities available.

Thanks for your feedback. We protect the properties that we manage as if they’re our own. We have a minimum age requirement and requiring guests to check-in in person ensures that all guests meet that (and that someone isn’t booking on behalf of someone else). Before we started this process, that was a big problem (underage guests booking or having their parents or someone else book for them). This has completely solved that problem as guests can’t falsify reservations or just email over someone else’s ID. We’re also sure to note in the check in instructions exactly what we provide and what guests should bring so there are no surprises at arrival. Thanks for staying with us!

Vacation Fun!

It was a easy experience renting this property. We had a great time. The house is true to pictures online. Beautiful! Clean . The spa was amazing. Friendly staff.If we had questions about our stay we would call and they would answer them.The only bad part was Friday night. The house behind us were up till 3:00 a.m with loud music and cursing. Solo cups in the street .We were leaving Saturday so we all needed to sleep. Some of us had to go into work that Saturday night. I know you have no control over that . Security rode by several times.We were ready to go home that morning. So we all got up early and left. We were tired and ready to be home. So ask about Friday nights before you buy. I will from here on .

The noise ordinance starts at 11pm, so they would have definitely been able to assist you with that (much more than the resort security). Roaches & Listing is inaccurate

We stayed at Nacho Beach House, which was more than 150 yards to pool/beach. The pools and pool area were overcrowded, especially Saturday-Monday. We stayed here the last full week in June. But worst of all, the house was full of cockroaches (bedrooms, hallways, living room- everywhere). We ended up killing over 20 cockroaches throughout the week. Never in all the years of traveling/vacationing had any of us ever experienced cockroaches where we’ve rented/stayed. Although maintenance came out to do some spraying, as they stated this is a common “mulch issue” the disgusting cockroach issue continued all week. Additionally, the listing did not specify that 1of the 2 king bedrooms was part of a “Jack & Jill” bedrooms/bathroom arrangement. There clearly was only 1 master. The other bedroom that has a bathroom is the double queen bedroom. This should had been part of the description. Lastly, the house was not ready for us until 4:40 even though we were instructed to pick up the welcome package from iTrip anytime after 4pm. Extremely disappointed with our stay here. We would not recommend this place.

We have to say we’re shocked by this review. You only reported an issue with the Palmetto bug, which we immediately responded to and said “They have been very active this week since the resort added/replaced mulch everywhere. All of our units are on a preventive treatment program but sometimes those just come in through open door or through cracks." Also, we are sure to note in the rental agreement that's signed at the time of booking that check in may be delayed until 5:00pm in the busy season. We're very sorry if you didn't read that document prior to signing it. Thanks for staying with us!

Spring break 2022

We had a great stay at our rental property on Salt Creek Court. The place has been cleaned well and with clean towels and new toiletries. Check in was easy ( although a wider check in window would be better)

Enjoyed Our Stay

The Good: 1. Location. Resort access. Beach access. Close to shopping, restaurants and activities. 2. Quick response from staff. Corrected an error quickly and without grief. 3. Home nicely furnished. Photos are accurate depictions. 4. Someone pulled the trash can to the curb for everyone ... that was a nice thing 5. Far away from the craziness of Myrtle Beach...we loved the more relaxed environment NMB is better for us 60 plus folks....please don't change Consider Improving: 1. Checking in process. I received the wrong house access. Hurricane IDA remnants slowed delayed our arrival by 15 minutes. Office closed at 4:30...we arrived arrived at 4:45. Staff had place the house packet in after hours box. However we recieved 2 physical keys instead of the combination to the door. Staff responded quickly with the combination. The next day a kind lady in the office explained that there is another property with a similar address that caused the confusion. (consequently we also learned that we didn't receive full allotment of parking passes etc in the initial envelop). All of this could have been aided with 4 simple customer service initiatives: 1- email door code the night before or morning of; 2- consider later office hours; 3- consider later office hours; 4- courtesy call when impactful storms are in the eastern states Not to be lost in all this dialog is the fact that I got a return call quickly and assistance was given that got us into the house without much delay.

Size or location?

The house was very nice, spacious and clean and well maintained. It feels “new.” The beds were firm and comfortable, and the linens and towels were in place making it easy to relax and enjoy our trip from the beginning (we’ve been places where we had to make our own beds, so this was nice, like a hotel). We enjoyed the garage spaces for our cars and all the beach gear. What others may want to know —To get to the beach, you have to walk over a bridge, through a garage and around the side of the hotel. It is more than 150 yards (that must be the distance from the house to the pool by satellite, which requires you to walk through a marsh!). This house is one of the closest ones to the bridge but it is still a 15 minute walk. We didn’t mind it too much, but it did mean we only went back and forth once daily. The pool access is nice, however all the people in the hotel mean the beach is rather crowded. They do not let you bring your beach chairs and boogie boards through the pool, so it adds to the commute. We were also disappointed that we couldn’t use our Cool Cabana. Apparently Myrtle Beach has a law against any canopies. Sharing that here so others won’t make the same mistake! Further the shuttle wasn’t super accessible...I saw it a couple times only. In fairness I never tried to call as that seemed to be a hassle. We used the discount pass for one free ticket to the Broadway Gran Prix and it worked great.

Wonderful home very spacious and close to pools and beach. Would definitely recommend for a great family beach vacation

Great property and nearby amenities

Very nice NMB North Beach Resort & Villas property with MBR on upper level and additional 3 BRs on lower level with 2 car garage. Easy walk to Towers building which has extensive controlled entry pool complex and access to beach. Lots of choices for entertainment and food nearby along Hwy 17 and Barefoot Landing.

Family vacation 2021

We usually try to stay in Cherry Grove on or near beach front. We tried something different this year and stayed further south and at a home affiliated with a resort. We enjoyed the home, although a few more items in the kitchen wouldn't hurt ( ie bowls, kitchen utensils, cooking pots, pans or baking pans). We never used the shuttle because we were close enough to the pool and the beach. The rental company was great and the proximity to restaurants and shopping was great too.

Keep coming back

We have been vacationing at the North Beach Plantation for years. This house was great. Check in was easy - no hard keys, just code for the front door. Unit was really clean on arrival. Short walk to the beach. AC kept the house cool all day and night. Only problems were, garbage disposal wasn’t working, washer is cheap and didn’t cycle properly and a couple of the beds squeaked really bad. Overall great stay and would rent this unit again.

Perfect weekend!!!

The house was perfect for my sons 14th birthday and Mother’s Day weekend!! Plenty of room, kitchen had everything we needed to cook!! Everything very clean when we arrived!! Will definitely book again!!

Ruined Anniversary Trip

We rented this property to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival we inspected the property, we didn't see or notice any major issues. Honestly, we were happy to just unplug. A few days into our stay we were notified by the management company that the home would be fumegated between 9:00-4:30 on our last day. We weren't happy because we wanted to enjoy our last morning in the home. We wrote mgmt to ask why this wasn't advertised prior to booking or mentioned when we checked into the property. Our main concern was being pushed to vacate the property early since fumegation could start as early as 9am and checkout was 11am. We woke up early, ensured the property was prestine, then vacated. While at the airport we received a text message from the management company accusing us smoking in the home. We were shocked because we do not smoke at all. When we asked if they were referring to the property we stayed in they replied yes and we should be upset with whomever stayed in the basement. Again...another accusation and assumptions. No one stayed in the basement because we were the only house guest and renters. We visited the basement to inspect only on day 1, wash our clothing on day 5, and to park in garage. The management company not only attacked us with lies but charged us $250.00. We came here for a celebration and leaving with attacks on our character and billed. Per management, "The reason that you didn't want to be "disturbed" by the pest control company is obvious now as we just inspected the unit and it smells like an ashtray. Per your booking agreement there is no smoking in these units and since you figured that didn't apply to you we are going to charge you for the cleaning and deodorizing of the house". In another message we were told, "Where there is smoke there is fire and where you smell smoke there was fire." We then asked what evidence they had and was informed, "There was no visible evidence just the smell." What's most disturbing is how easy a company could simply lie and accuse their renters of lacking integrity before having a conversation to ask if they had smoked or failed to adhere to a protocol and policy. We've been through a lot this year... Losing loved-ones to Covid and much more. Every human being does not lack integrity, this company clearly has an issue and do not value their renters. We work hard and been impacted by Covid-19. No one has time for such shady business practices.

Having to respond to this review is honestly extremely frustrating to say the least. We’ll start with the pest control. We manage over 70 properties that have to be treated quarterly, so we are the mercy of the external pest control company as they determine the date and time. We note in the signed rental agreement that if pest control must be scheduled during a renter’s stay, that they cannot be turned away. We set this expectation because we’re never 100% sure of the date until about a week before it happens. As we always do, we notified all potentially affected guests 48 hours ahead of them that the pest control would be taking place between a set timeframe on a set date. Out of ALL of the guests we emailed, these guests were the only ones who wrote back, and to say they were extremely rude and inappropriate was an understatement. They accused us of trying to “push them out early” which made absolutely no sense. The pest control company is in and out in minutes, so guests can be there if they so choose. The ironic part was the pest control was scheduled on their departure date, and the company didn’t even show up until well after they left. The next issue was the extremely strong smell of smoke that was in the home when they left. Our cleaning service supervisor was the one who actually entered the home and her exact words were that the smell was so strong it “hit her in the face.” She had to use a cleaning solvent to get the smell out as well as open all of the windows. Now we would imagine since these guests were so vocal about something that didn’t even end up affecting them, ie pest control, that if they had entered the home and it had smelled like smoke, they would have reported this to us immediately. Since that didn’t happen and they were the only ones in the home, of course we could only deduce that they were the ones who caused the smell. We clearly state in the rental agreement that if any evidence of smoking is found that there will be a $250 charge. Having said,this home is well loved and very popular and we always receive great reviews about our customer service. It was unfortunately very evident that these guests were just looking for something to be upset about, and when they couldn’t find it with the house, they turned their focus to our company.
