We booked this house for a family getaway over Labor Day weekend. The marketing is excellent, the photos and descriptions make the property look fantastic and easy to book. The positives were real. The house was clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment.Unfortunately, the reality didn't match the pictures. The pool area wasn't maintained, the lawn hadn't been mowed in some time. The terrace floor is made of slate that crumbles underfoot, so walking barefoot out there risks cutting your feet. There are only two lounge chairs, so a family of three or more has to make concessions, and the chairs available are cheap ones, not the nice wooden chairs shown in the listing. The outdoor table is old and splintering, and the umbrella can only open halfway since it's old & broken. We couldn't enjoy music by the pool, but the neighbors ran chainsaws from 8 to 10 am on Saturday. We also would have liked to know how to turn on the pool light; we asked the management company (Casago Team) but never got a response. The fridge didn't work properly and couldn't make ice, so we had to ask the management company to bring us a bag, which they did.The master bathroom was the low point. There's almost no water pressure in the shower, it felt more like a campground shower, and the sink faucet is so oddly designed that form and function seem to have gone their separate ways.Overall, the house has potential, but it's overpriced for the condition and amenities it actually delivers.
