Thank you for your kind comments regarding our wonderful location, cleanliness, and comfort! We do want to clarify that, as clearly stated in our listing, the home does not have air conditioning. Located just half a block from the ocean, the home benefits from wonderful coastal cross breezes. Additionally, every room is equipped with a ceiling fan, and portable box fans are provided throughout the house for added comfort. We make every effort to accurately describe our property and its amenities so guests know exactly what to expect before booking. While we understand that air conditioning may be a personal preference, we feel it is unfair to criticize a property for not offering an amenity that was never advertised. We always encourage guests to review the listing carefully before booking to ensure the home meets their individual needs and expectations.

Detailed directions were provided, including a video showing how to lock the door by simply lifting the handle and turning the key. Very simple.Had you communicated that you were still having difficulty, I would have gladly walked over and demonstrated it for you. The ceiling fans also have adjustable speeds controlled by a button on the wall switch. Again, had you reached out, I could have quickly explained how to increase the speed. We make every effort to assist our guests, but we cannot resolve concerns that are never communicated to us during the stay—especially when the solutions were a simple push of a button and a simple turn of the key. :)

Thank you for confirming that the listing clearly states the home does not have air conditioning . We do have heat.... Unfortunately, several other statements in this review are inaccurate. The portable AC unit DOES work. It was left by a previous guest as a courtesy and is not an advertised amenity. You were provided with clear instructions on how to properly operate it, including how to secure the exhaust tube. The issue was not that the unit did not work, but that you had difficulty following the instructions provided. Additionally, each room has a ceiling fan, and box fans are also provided throughout the home to help with airflow. It is interesting that you chose to criticize the cleanliness of the fans when the home was left in a considerably messy condition upon your departure. We were extremely responsive throughout your stay and repeatedly attempted to assist you. Unfortunately, this was a difficult hosting experience, particularly when complaints were made about amenities that were never advertised and instructions that were provided were not followed.
