Bonita Beach Bay Bungalow

Beautiful view out back of the bay. A short walk to the beach. Close to good restaurants. Will be returning next year.

Excellent location

Walked to breakfast, lunch and dinnee, the beach, and very short drive to boat rentals at reasonable rate. We would definitely recommend.

Terrific Stay

Had a great time. Great location with great beach access and the dock and inlet behind was terrific with the kayaks. Had everything we need. A perfect two bedroom location.

Great Location

Excellent location with restaurants and bars in walking distance. Private dock on canal and beach across the street. Plenty of parking space. Centrally located between Fort Myers and Naples. Very enjoyable two weeks.

Wonderful home

The house was fabulous. Had everything we needed and more. We saw dolphins 2 mornings up close to our dock. Good location - close to restaurants. Uber and Lyft were easy to catch.

Great little place across from the beach

We had a great time. Went kayaking on the bay and walked on the beach almost every day. The beach access is a 5 minute walk. The house is amply supplied with vacation gear - fishing poles, beach chairs, kayaks, life jackets. Having the washer and dryer was great too.

Bonita Beach

We've stayed in the Bonita Beach--Little Hickory area for several years. Hurricane Ian interrupted our tradition but we are thankful to find this house across from the beach that we love. The house was perfect for us for our holiday getaway. The house was clean and the updates since the hurricane are wonderful. Highly recommend.

Perfect location!

We are familiar with this part of Florida and loved being close to some restaurants which were within walking distance. The beach was easily accessible with a great crosswalk several houses down (in front of Docs restaurant). We appreciated having a supply of beach chairs, umbrellas and a beach cart! We loved sitting on the back deck in the evenings. Our king bed was very comfortable and we slept great! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your little slice of paradise! We enjoyed our visit!

Adequate

Property older than I expected, stairs narrow and steep, no dishwasher, very clean, had to keep blinds closed to cool, easy beach access, plenty of beach equipment, living area furniture not very comfortable for sitting. We enjoy that area and had stayed in Bonita Beach two other times.

Excellent Location

Older property but location is excellent. Owners were great. To be truthful, the first floor was extremely musty. We could not use the pullout. Also, no fault of the owners but construction noise was constant. Overall, we had a nice stay

Perfect location to enjoy the beach!

Walk to the beach every day! We did! We also caught catfish right off the dock. Saw jellyfish, and some monster fish kayaking. Everything worked great and was a comfy stay including all the beach stuff you would ever need. Response within minutes from host to any of my questions. We will be back!

Steps from the sunset

Our stay was very relaxing. Everything we needed for a beach retreat ( did run out of toilet paper though & there was no extra). Great location,you just need to time coming and going with the beach traffic. So much to do if you don’t even want to get in your car. Most amazing sunsets we have seen! Wish I could add a picture.

Beach bungalow.

Location is fantastic. Listing accurately describes property. Well stocked kitchen including spices and other basics. Plenty of extras: kayaks, fishing equipment and beach supplies. The dock on back bay allowed us to fish and use kayaks. We had a Herrin and dolphin visit us during our stay. Owner is responsive to questions and was quick to resolve issue we had with internet. We would definitely stay here again.

Gulf Sunsets

We loved our vacation at Bungalow Bay. The property is ideally located for all age groups with something for everyone. Doc,s is a great place for the younger set. Our young adults also enjoyed all that Fort Myers Beach has to offer, and it,s just a short drive away. For the"older set" the proximity of restaurants, shopping,and the beach is ideal. We enjoyed kayaking in the bay, and I especially enjoyed sitting on the back deck with a glass of wine watching the wildlife in and around the bay. All in all it was a very positive experience. Kudos to the owners were we great hosts.

Perfect Location

The house was perfect for my wife and teenage son. Waking up each morning and enjoying the back balcony overlooking the canal was fabulous! The house was very clean and had everything you would ever need. The location is absolutely the best. You have most of everything you need within walking distance with great restaurants and the beach (Bonita Beach) across the street. You have a short drive up to Ft. Myers beach if you are looking for more action or you can walk down to Barefoot Beach if you want something more laid back. This place is worth the money!!!

Memorial Weekend Beach Trip

Great two bedroom house walking distance (short) to beach. Great accessories and nicely updated home. No dishwasher so kept us on top of keeping dishes clean. Great tv’s and A/C. Several places to sit on back porch and balcony for small group. Very busy street in front of home but always easy to get out, just busy., so need to watch and pay attention. Hosts were amazing.

Close to the beach

Everything was clean and close to the beach. There are some newer/possibly nicer places to stay nearby, but we found this property to be a great combination of price and proximity to the beach and restaurants. There were TVs in basically every room. We had some difficulty watching the local stations/news, but there were plenty of apps to watch any movie, series, etc., you wanted. The only thing I would change is I think the doors that open to the outside should have deadbolts. We would definitely stay here again.

The home is clean, comfortable, and most importantly relaxing. You can be as busy with outdoor activities(kayaking, fishing, beaching, parasailing, boating, swimming) as you wish or just relax on the back deck and watch for dolphins, manatees, and birds in the comfort of Bungalow Bay. If you wish to explore Southwest Florida, we are located on the southern tip of Little Hickory Island so you have easy access on and off the Island .
