Wonderful apartment and location

The apartment was spacious and nicely furnished with everything you might need. The host was gracious and helpful with recommendations. The location is great. Very walkable and close to the metro. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Charming French apartment in the heart of Paris

The host was very helpful in accommodating our delayed arrival timing. The apartment has all of the necessities. It’s located in a secure building in the center of Paris just minutes from the Louvre and several other attractions.

Paris in March

My family of 5, 2 adults 3 teens, enjoyed our stay in Fabien's apartment. The location is wonderful. Close to a grocery store. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our own meals. The layout of the apartment and beds available allowed all of use to sleep comfortably. Would stay here again.

Great apartment in a great spot

The apartment is ideal for a family and located in a great spot just steps from Place Vendome. It is quiet and well equipped and Fabian (the host) is very friendly and available. Given its location it is an easy walk to almost all of Paris's main attractions and also has plentiful taxis and easy access to the Metro. Recommend.

Perfect, quiet spot in Paris

Our family really enjoyed the week in this comfortable apartment. It was very quiet at night, yet close to many ‘hot spots’ in Paris. We could walk to almost everything, and those that were not walkable were a short Uber ride away. Fabien, our host was available to address our questions before and during the trip and gave great recos for nearby bakeries, restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend!

A spacious and comfortable flat in an amazing location with an attentive host. Highly recommend!

Our family of four spent 3 nights in Fabien’s wonderful apartment in June 2023. It is a quick and easy walk to several of Paris’ famous landmarks and is in close proximity to the metro and other pubic transportation. We loved having separate sleeping areas and especially loved having 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking but if you don’t want to cook there are several restaurants close by. Fabien was a fabulous host and went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and make sure our stay in Paris was fabulous. I highly recommend this property!

The location of the apartment is EXCELLENT. The nicest part of Paris, close to all the flagship luxury shops, the Louvre, and cool places to eat. The AC in the apartment is a HUGE plus, which is very rare thing in Parisian apartments. M. Hamel is super nice and very helpful. Check in and Check out was very easy and smooth. I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the fact that the elevator broke and we had to climb 4 flights of stairs every time we came to the apartment. This really put a damper on the trip. The fix was on Paris time, and this was a major problem. C’est la vie, I guess.

Amazing location, fantastic host

Apartment had every amenity needed, comfortable bed, plenty of space. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer so we could return home with fresh clothes. As a vacationer who uses VRBO frequently, I can’t think of a host who made it easier to check in. Fabien speaks perfect English to help offset my inability to speak z French, any time I reached out to him, I was contacted within a minute. The location is less than a 15 minute walk to the Louvre, and less than 5 minutes to great restaurants and if fashion is your thing, I can’t begin to explain how many shops were a stones throw away.

Very positive experience

Our party of 5 had a most comfortable stay at 8 Rue de la Paix. Fabien was extremely nice and responsive to our needs during our planning phase and our actual stay. The apartment was in the perfect location. Close to transportation, and many sights. We went to the Ballets Russes at the Opera Garnier, and was home in 2 minutes. The area reminded us of 5th Avenue, and the building was peaceful , quiet and well-maintained. The apartment was quite spacious and equipped with what you would need at home. Though we didn't do much cooking, it was still nice to have a full service kitchen and a washer. Our experience at the apartment was a very positive one, and we enjoyed the courteous reception by the many French people who we stopped on the streets to ask questions.

Comfortable stay in the very center of Paris

We have had a lovely short stay at the property. From the moment of the booking we had excellent communication with the owner. The housekeeper who checked us in was also very friendly and knowledgeable about the apartment. The place was very clean and with a lot of character. It was rather old, however, all the amenities were old - the showers, appliances in the kitchen etc. It is a slight disadvantage, but I still give the place five starts because it was very clean and well maintained. Also it is visible on the pictures that this place is more for someone who likes historical buildings; like us! The location was perfect, we barely used public transport, we just walked everywhere and it was very pleasant to be so close to the attractions. Many thanks to Fabien for the wonderful stay!

Superb location. Family of four with teens. Beautiful historic building, very quiet.

A very welcome place to land as we arrived in Paris and then spent a week. One adult and three teens were comfortable here. Everything worked well: elevator, air conditioning, shower, washer and dryer, WiFi, espresso pod machine (nice!), stove, dishwasher, etc. Plentiful towels in different colors! (This is brilliant because so easy to keep track of.) Plentiful glasses, plates, and silverware.Our host, Fabien, was impeccable. Excellent communication via email and text before and during our arrival; greeted us at the apartment when we arrived and familiarized us with specifics; was available during our stay if needed (although we had no need because everything was great); joined us in person at checkout time.Transportation: Easy to get around via nearby Metro and RER stations.This apartment was very quiet. We were there during the annual music festival and couldn’t hear anything in the apartment. Convenient food options of all levels: nearby: restaurants, bakeries, a tiny food market, a regular food market (Moniprix), and best of all, the Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet. Shopping: literally next door to Tiffany & Co, across the street from Cartier, a short walk to the well-known Galleries Lafayette and many, many more shops.Fun fact: Rue de la Paix is the most expensive property in the French version of the Monopoly board game!

Best location in vintage apartment

Really I'd stay here for our family again and again. Location is marvelous. This can't be emphasized enough. Fabian took the tine to tell us all about the place. It is nice and comfortable in a classic style. That is the Paris experience I want to have and feel for our first trip there. We lucked out on this place.

Comfortable and quiet Paris apartment

My family and I had a really nice, relaxing stay at Fabien's Paris apartment. The space is incredibly roomy, air-conditioning works great and unbelievably quiet considering its location in a very central part of the city. We would go back there in a second and highly recommend it.

Perfect location!

The apartment was great. Easy check in process, and comfortable beds. We didn’t spend much time in the apartment, the location was perfect for seeing all the sites in Paris. Located in the heart of everything. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend for anyone looking for a place in the perfect location to enjoy Paris sites.

Great Location

My husband, our adult son and his girlfriend, and our younger son all stayed at this property. The location is excellent, close to the Louvre Museum, an excellent bakery, amazing restaurants and shopping. We did a Hop on Hop off bus tour for a day that was close to get to from the hotel. Fabien provided great communication. The building was really neat to stay in, it’s from the 1880’s.

C'est Parfait

The appartment is perfect. The rooms were lovely and spacious. Plenty of places to sleep. The building has the best elevator we've used staying in Paris. We were just a few blocks from the river and then central to everywhere. Gave us a great opportunity to walk so many places. Our kids loved it and thought it was amazing.

Perfect location

The location was everything! Beautiful and elegant building, centrally located. The apartment is spacious although the second bedroom is very small , can be used for kids only . The communication with the host Fabian was very easy and the check in very efficient. We had a wonderful stay
