Velkommen til den bedst bevarede hemmelighed i St. Augustine. Sommerhus har alt hvad du har brug for for at få drømmenes ferie, med 4 opvarmede pools (om vinteren), tennisbaner, shuffleboard, legepladser, motionscenter, racquetballbaner, privat adgang til stranden og så meget mere.

Dette condo-lejlighed i stueetagen har en privat gårdhave med direkte udsigt over den smukke sandstrand og Atlanterhavet. Læn dig tilbage og nyd udsigten og havbrisen.

Vidunderligt indrettede, komfortable og hyggelige kommer til at tænke på, når du træder ind i vores condo. Indeholder et fuldt udstyret køkken med kaffemaskine, opvaskemaskine, blender og mikroovn, bare for at nævne nogle få. Vores Condo har også en morgenmadsbar, spisestue med plads til seks (6). I stuen er der også masser af sæder til at nyde familietiden eller læne sig tilbage og nyde den yndlingsfilm.

Når det er tid til at kalde det en dag, vil du være glad for at du valgte at blive i vores condo. Beliggende lige ved stuen finder du ejerens suite med en meget behagelig queensize-seng og privat bad. Uanset om du er der sammen med venner eller familie, vil de nyde en god nats søvn i det andet soveværelse med to (2) dobbeltseng. Men ingen bekymringer; Hvis du har flere gæster, har stuen sovesofa i queensize-størrelse.

Lejligheden har dit eget private WIFI og fladskærms-tv i alle værelser.

Vores Condo er beliggende nær Matanzas Inlet, hvor du kan se den uspolerede skønhed i naturen. Derefter kan du tage en kort køretur nord, og du vil finde dig selv i hjertet af den ældste by i USA, historiske centrum af St. Augustine.

Great location

The condo is nice and clean. It is a great location with a beautiful sunrise from the bedroom and living room. However, the kitchen is poorly stocked and there was a shortage of linens with no sheets for the pull out in the living room. I do recommend this unit and plan to return regardless of the aforementioned issues.

This was perfect for the family. We were within walking distance of the pool and the beach. The only issue we had, which was remedied quickly, was the code we received to get in and out of the beach gate was the incorrect code.

You asked

Smelled very musty. 3 out of 4 blowing nose whole time. No allergies. One hot pad one dish towel. Needed to use our own garbage bags. No sponge to wash dishes. Back door did not lock. PVC pipe for a door lock. Could have had more shower towels. We had no bath mat. Throw rugs need to be replaced. How about upgrading the TV. How about a railing around the step down. We had several people trip on it. All of this is very petty but we have stayed at Summer House numerous times. Thank you. You asked and I’m giving you my thoughts.

Years spent at Summer House

We've been staying at Summer House off and on for 30 yrs. Started when our kids were young and now returning with their kids. Love it! However over the years I have had several back surgeries that prevented me from traversing the new high pitched stairs to the beach. That prevented me from being able to enjoy my walks on the beach and no handicapped walkways. You might want to add that to ypur info. And please add dish towels & something to scrub pots with to your kitchen...tks

Dirty unit !

Walls & doors need cleaning & painting. I did wash some. Large yellow stain on mattress in master,. Blood on sheets in twin room!! Closet floors , under beds, in cabinets all need deep cleaning. Furniture in living sags badly. New baths are nice as is location of unit. Not a comfortable place to stay. Needs attention !!!

We love staying at Summerhouse and have made many return visits over the years. We love the beach location and the multiple pools on the premises. The negative for us is a personal one with the unit which is the step down to the family room area. I had forgotten some of the units still have this feature.

The place is spacious, close to the beach and has a pool, if you are looking for that added attraction. The neighbors were very friendly and the place was peaceful, not loud and out of hand. 228 is well maintained, we just noticed our first night that the floors needed to be mopped, not just swept. Not a big deal, obviously, we will be returning, but our feet were black on the bottom after just a couple of hours of arriving. The towels and sheets smelled clean and were comfortable, as were the bathrooms and kitchen area. Plenty of room for your belongings as well. Big closets and storage containers/bins for clothes. Nice television and furniture for relaxing and eating. Had more items for our fun than expected; beach chairs, cards, domino's, and many books for your relaxation pleasure! It is not commercialized, but St. Augustine is close by for shopping, dining and site seeing. Definitely a place to stay for fun and relaxation, we already recommended it to a friend and family member for consideration.

The management was helpful and supplied our only request, which was a light bulb. We meant to ask about grocery stores when we checked in, but forgot, so that would have been a helpful suggestion. We were given several restaurant suggestions and visited one of those. The weather cooperated and we had a delightful time.

Summerhouse review: a new mattress is a MUST!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at summerhouse multiple times. This place was the biggest in size, which we liked. The kitchen and everything was nice! The biggest thing that I would like to complain about is the bed. The two single beds were good but the larger bed in the master bedroom was so hard it was like sleeping on a cement floor. I would love to come back to that specific room but only if the master bed had a new mattress with maybe a pillowtop or something to make it softer.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros - The condo is cute and had enough space for our group. Having two bathrooms was nice. The sliding glass doors looked out to the pool and the ocean is just behind it. These particular condos are more out of the way and in a quiet area which was nice. Cons - the property is still repairing from the hurricanes. 3 out of the 4 pools were operational with ours being one of them. Only one of the four beach accesses were open and it was not ours but it wasn't a huge deal just a bit of a further walk. The condo looks clean but after the first day my son's feet were almost black from the floors. I think it may have something to do with tracking in sand. They didn't leave more than 4 rolls of toilet paper for five days for five people and no trash bags. They ask that we put a load of towels or sheets in the wash machine before you leave. We did and accidentally left personal things in the dryer. I messaged the company within a few hours who said they would contact the cleaning company. After a few weeks of not hearing anything I contacted them again and they said that the cleaners didn't find anything which is not possible considering they had to put the loads of towels we started into the dryer that contained our items. Also, they were no instructions before arrival to go to the company's office instead of the property's office which caused some confusion. Overall I would recommend the property and we had a lovely time!

These accomodations are amazing....everything about our stay at 228 was nothing but perfect!!! The Summerhouse is classy but cozy, beautiful inside with a spectacular view of the ocean in the distance. We enjoyed walking the relatively short distance to the beach and enjoyed strolling beside the ocean for hours. The pool is just perfect and very well maintained and cleaned. We had fun on the tennis courts and everyone we encountered was pleasant and friendly. The surrounding neighbors were all very pleasant but quiet so as not to disturb anyone. We just had a marvelous time and definitely would love to make plans to return to 228!!!! Thank you
