This property was better than expected - great location, very roomy, easy access to shops, restaurants, and Yellowstone. Home was well maintained and the main floor layout worked well for our family.

We were traveling with eight family members from Australia. As usual VRBO came through with the perfect place. And Peter and Dood were friendly and helpful.The lodge was perfect in size, location and amenities.

The house was very clean and spacious. The host was great with his communication. It is located within walking distance to restaurants and close to the town and supermarkets. You are a short distance to the entrance of the National Park.The only thing that you need to be aware of is there is no A/C and the windows are difficult or unable to open. We happen to be staying when the temps were above average.

It’s a great house with lots of room. I also loved that it is just minutes from Yellowstone’s West entrance and walking distance to the downtown area. There was a bit of an issue with the hot water heater but Peter was responsive and addressed it! I would recommend this property!

Our family had a great stay. Location to park entrance was so close and we were able to walk to town for dinner & shopping. Location was perfect. There was plenty of room for 8 of us. The 4 full bathrooms were great as well, everyone had their own space. The only issue I had was there wasn’t enough seating for us all to sit together in the living room and the couch was very uncomfortable. But that didn’t stop a 5 star review and when we come back to visit Yellowstone we will definitely look to book here again.

Giant house, accommodated our family perfectly. Very responsive when we had requests or questions. Centrally located in West Yellowstone, minutes away from anything you would need, want to see or do.

Most of the furnishings were worn out and not very comfortable. We were not able to enjoy the front deck because it was torn apart. The blocks at base of the stairs making the landing to the "main" entrance were very unstable and caused several people in our party to trip. The step down to the deck from the cabin was also hard to navigate. The propane grill was dirty and would operate for 5 to 10 minutes only.The location was very convenient making a quick walk to downtown or short drive to any sites in the park.

We have a new couch and chair and ottoman in the living room. Also all of our beds are new. Only a small section of the front deck off to the side not near the doorway of the deck is being renovated . I am not certain what you mean by the "blocks" at the base of the stairs were unstable, as we don't have any "blocks." The step down to the deck is up to code and there is plenty of lighting. The propane grill may have been out of propane, and we are happy to replace when needed. Guest, please let us know if you have any issues when you are staying here and I will correct them.

It was a great place to have for our large group. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, large kitchen table, roomy living room, and in a great location. What may need upgrading is the seats of the kitchen chairs as they are starting to collapse, and the living room couch is getting pretty saggy.

This was a magical family vacation and the accommodations were perfect. We had family from New York, North Carolina and Washington state ranging in ages from 4 to 81. Being so close to the park helped us maximize the sites we saw. We saw tons of bison in the Lamar valley. black bear and grizzlies, elk, a marmot and a coyote! The grizzly and wolf discovery center was great. We made meals together and visited the grand prismatic and old faithful. It was a once in a lifetime experience! The office was really helpful when we had an accidental bear spray incident. Recommended accommodations for a memorable Yellowstone visit!!

This will always be my first choice for lodging in West Yellowstone

My hiking group of seven women stayed in this home for one week in late September. It was terrific! Plenty of room for people to spread out and the home was designed to be quiet--those who got up early to start breakfast didn't wake those who slept in. The mattresses are great, kitchen is well equipped. We loved the large dining room table. I appreciated that each room had its separate wall heater for people who like different temperatures. Everyone loved the house.

Nice place with lots of room

We spent 5 nights here with our family of 17. That included 10 adults and 7 kids. There was lots of room for spacing everyone out when needed and we had a good experience. The only thing the kids did miss, and we did too, is that when we would come home from a day at Yellowstone, the kids still wanted to play outside, and there was really no place to do that except in the parking lot. So, they played in the parking lot. :( There is no yard anywhere to speak of. Our kids are aged 12-4, so that might not be an issue for older preteens and teens.

Rented July 21-27 2019

Everything was great. The positives: - House is well stocked with cooking gear - The beds were clean and comfortable - Most everything was in working order - The cypher door locks made entry and exit super easy The negatives: - There is NO air conditioning. Hot days will be brutal in the house. This was not clear when renting the house. - Don’t be over 6 ft tall going downstairs or you’ll crack your head on the ceiling - If in the North-most bedroom, due to no A/C and windows left open at night, you be awakened at 5:30 am by the restaurant employees across the street.
