Denne smukke Carolina Beach hjem er kun 2 blokke fra stranden adgang og komfortabelt sover 10. 4 soveværelser og 3 badeværelser med et fuldt udstyret køkken. Tæt på alle lokale faciliteter. Pleasure Island byder på mange attraktioner både naturlige og kommercielle. Der er en række spisesteder fra afslappede til mere fornemme menuer med friske fisk og skaldyrsartikler dagligt. Vores charterbåde ligger ved havnen i hjertet af Carolina Beach tilbyder charter fiskeri både (in-shore og deep-sea). North Carolina Aquarium og Fort Fisher History Museum er lige nede ad vejen i den sydlige ende af øen. Akvariet er en stor familieoplevelse og har forskellige udstillinger og arrangementer med jævne mellemrum. Fra akvariet kan du også få adgang til tidevandskampe og nyde alle de oprindelige dyreliv og flora. Tag et skridt tilbage i tiden og tur Ft. Fisher History Museum og lære om områdets historie under borgerkrigen. Om vinteren er der endda en live reenactment af sidste kamp ved fortet. I samme område finder du Ft. Fisher til Southport færge. Det er rigtig sjovt at tage en tur på færgen til en dagstur til historiske Southport for nogle antikviteter og frokost på floden. Hvis du nyder surf fiskeri, kan du få adgang til den sydlige ende af Ft. Fisher fra Ft. Fisher Rekreative område med 4 hjul drev eller til fods. Der er også 4-hjulstræk adgang på den nordlige ende af Carolina Beach på Freeman Park. Carolina Beach State Park ligger på den vestlige side af øen og tilbyder miles af smukke naturlige vandrestier, kajak og fiskeri. Du kan endda leje en pontonbåd og tilbringe en dag på vandet, der besøger øer og myrer. I sommersæsonen er der rides på Carolina Beach boardwalk for børnene samt torsdag nat fyrværkeri med levende underholdning. Familieaften er tirsdag med speciel underholdning for børnene. På Carolina Beach Lake (som er den nærmeste ferskvands sø til havet på den østlige kyst) er der en gratis udendørs familiefilm søndag aften og et fantastisk Farmer s marked på lørdag formiddag. Kom til ferien og nyd øen af lys! Søen og strandpromenaden er dekoreret med lys og juloverraskelser med alle former for underholdning for børnene. Der er så meget sjov på Pleasure Island hele året rundt. Kom og se os snart!

Everything was great - the pictures are accurate of the listing. Beach is so close! They do have coat hangers, a Keurig and blender which were not mentioned in the listing and would have lightened our packing

Everything was as expected and more. We had ample room for all of us. Easy access to the beach; everything we needed to prepare family meals; three bathrooms. The decor is so simple and bright. The host kept in contact and promptly answered any questions. I was mistaken thinking that check out was at 12 so we were still there when the cleaning crew showed up. The host was kind and polite.

The location was great! We highly enjoyed that piece of the vacation. However, the AC had issues, the stove had issues, the floor was essentially caving in on the first level. No beach towels, soap, dish soap...just basic things. It was really disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad the location worked well for your trip and apologize that other aspects of your stay fell short. The AC has been addressed and is cooling properly. We will be looking in stove, and especially the floor concern as safety is a priority, and we have reported these issues to our maintenance team for further inspection as we are unsure of the concern mentioned. You are correct, we only provide a starter pack with basic items (such as toiletries). We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention and will use your feedback when assessing updates.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach home in Carolina Beach! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was fantastic — close to the beach, restaurants, and local attractions, yet peaceful and relaxing.The home was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay, and the layout made it easy for everyone to enjoy time together. We especially enjoyed spending mornings with coffee outside and relaxing after long days at the beach.Communication with the host was smooth and helpful from start to finish. Overall, this was a great experience, and we would absolutely stay here again the next time we visit Carolina Beach!

Family escape to the beach was perfect. 2 blocks off the beach and a lot of dinner options in the area. Great for a family get away

Great location for the price

We had a great time and would stay again. The location to the beach was less than a 5 min walk. As well as a short drive to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk (walkable). It was convenient to check in and the home was exactly as pictured in the listing. Overall, a great stay!

Great Beach house

This is a great beach house. Not fancy, but very clean and well equipped . The mattress in the master was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in away from home. Five minute walk to the beach. FANTASTIC!

Great location, needs some love

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the location was awesome, the place needs some up keep. Rails on balcony were loose (fine for us but wouldn't want to stay there with little ones), air ducts rusted, and the fans were coated in dust.

Great location; nice place

The property was as advertised. Very short walk to the beach and we were able to walk to the Carolina beach boardwalk and enjoy the nightlife. We had age range of 19-78 3 generations of family to celebrate a birthday! A couple friends also joined in and it was a comfortable fit in the house with 10 of us. I would say the patios could have a better seating arrangement to accommodate more people, but as a single family home; generally I can see the patios being comfortable. For 4-5 people. The gas grill was not useable but there was a small charcoal grill that we used and it did the job. We went for a long weekend and I will mention if you have a lot of people to make sure to bring garbage bags, hand soap, toilet paper and dishwasher soap/pods…there will not be extra. Overall I give the location and house a 10 out of 10!!!! Loved our stay and we all had so much fun.

No air conditioning upstairs, the drain didn’t drain and had sand in the downstairs bathroom. The outdoor furniture was filthy and had bugs all over it. The downstairs toilet seat was broken, looked like someone had glued it on. No dishwashing detergent, no laundry detergent, no hand soap, no soap to bath with, no toilet paper, only 2 rolls for 3 baths and 8 people! No paper towels, no nothing! No salt and pepper or coffee! Not even the basics! I’ve rented places for 35 years and never had none of the basics there when you arrive!! The We pay a lot of money and there’s not even the basics provided, so cheap. The rules were to pack up all garbage and take it out to the road but there were no garbage bags even!! We spent our vacation time running around buying household items for a vacation house! Very disappointing for me and my family!!!Tonya Wuestefeld

Nice location off beach with easy access to beach

Location is 3 walking blocks to sandy beach. Nice thing is on Ocean Blvd there is good side walk to the beach with crossing lights. It’s a little over a mile to ride bikes to boardwalk as there is a side road next to houses on beach that you can get to within a few blocks to get off of main road. Also, highly recommend bikes as have a great greenway off of Ocean Blvd to get to a park with basketball courts, playground and skate park. The park is about 1.5 mile bike ride and great with sidewalk and greenway. House: can hold ten but 7or 8 is what best set up for at max. The kitchen table has four chairs and two island stools. Can bring up some light chairs from outside down by cars where there is a nice table outside. We were able to squeeze seven around the table. Air in house pretty good except in back bedroom where it is a bit warmer. We were able to get a fan from Bryant real estate to help air flow there. Only the master has a ceiling fan. There is spicket for washing off feet down in car area. No hose though. We had four cars in the driveway but can fit five if pull all the way in. For the kitchen, teflon type frying pans are getting worn, need more than two ice trays for making own ice, 6 wine glasses so you may need a few more if wine and big crowd, a larger pot needed for doing a seafood boil. A charcoal grill that could cook for 6 people, maybe 8 if doing hamburgers. Kuddos to Bryant RE for stepping up on a few cleaning needs and bringing us a broom and vacuum.

It was across the street and three houses down from the very large main house we rented for a family gathering. The cottage ended up having some issues that made it uninhabitable until the issue was corrected. I explained the situation and the staff at the Carolina Beach office could not have been more helpful! They all jumped in to find a place that was as close as possible to the location we had. I could not have been happier with their concern and speed to rectify the situation. They were great. I would recommend them to everyone. The scores below are related to the house they found to move us to, not the one we were moved from.

Family vacation and get away.

Renting this property was easy and professional. There was no face to face contact. Everything was explained through email and was detailed and precise. The property was just as it was listed online. We were very impressed with the accommodation and the location. This is a property and agency we will consider for future vacations

Great Snapper House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Close enough to walk to the beach, and a ice cream shop with hamburgers, and hot dog's l, and the best funnel cakes. Loved the house! Beautiful beach decor. We also had a great time kayaking at the state park off of Dow road only about 2 miles away. And fishing at the Kure pier was great too. Walk Fredrick rd to ice cream, and beach too if you want, I don’t drink but there is a nice outside bar on the beach there too.

Concerns

I had some concerns with the property and called after hours. I left a message and never heard back from the property management company. There was a lot of little things about the home that made the stay not so relaxing. Remote didn’t have batteries, inside and outside doors were very hard to shut and lock. Blinds were broken in almost every room, lamps broken, etc. It wasn’t very clean, and ants all over the kitchen counter tops when we arrived. It was very disappointing that we didn’t hear back from the property management company…

Close to the beach !

This property was so close to the beach ( less than a 5 min walk with loaded beach wagon and children) . It is close to bike trails and just several blocks away from the ice cream/shaved ice shop! A great place to stay!

Long Weekend

Great location, easy walk to the beach. It needs an outdoor shower or access to the one of the other side of the duplex.
