The property is beautiful and clean. My kids, my parents and I loved the location and how spacious it was. One of my top stays in the last 8 years. Thank you to thw owners for opening the door and having us enjoy our yearly vacation at your home.

I didn't like that we flew there and had to run to the store right away because they didn’t have dish soap, hand soap, only a couple rolls of toilet paper is all they had for us and they also do not have a lot of pots and pan to cook in. Only one morning with coffee we had to go buy our own. I guess I wasn’t prepared for that because I’ve never had to do that on all the other places I have ever rented. It was very clean and a very good location to walk to the beach.

Thank you for your review of My Five Stars, Unit B. We’re sorry you had to run to the store on arrival and that the hand soap, dish soap, limited toilet paper and cookware didn’t meet your needs. We provide a starter pack with basic items (hand soap, dish soap, a small supply of toilet paper and coffee) and while we do list this in our listings, booking confirmations, and within out guest portal will work on improving our pre-arrival communication so guests are better prepared. We’ll also review the kitchen inventory and consider adding cookware based on guest feedback. Glad the unit was very clean and in a convenient location for the beach — thank you for the helpful feedback.

Great Vacation

We had a great vacation. This was the first VRBO that didn't offer any extras. No salt and pepper, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom etc. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. Easy walk to the beach and we could also walk to the boardwalk.

Carolina Beach Family Trip

The outside of the property needed a little grooming (grass need cutting) but the inside was awesome. Everything was so clean and tidy. The location of the home was great. It was about a 5 minute walk to the beach. Also there are a lot of places to eat near by. Most local attractions were about 30 minutes away. (Battleship North Carolina, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher) I would definitely recommend this home to others for their family vacation.

It wasn’t impressive at all compare to my previous experience . This house do not have internet the wi fi and the password that they provided does not exist, the coffee maker is not working and we want coffee early morning upon waking up. And the bath towels was not enough , no paper towel just one roll and no garbage bag just one piece . So I don’t think so these place is good to stay .Beach is walking distance no question about that but please focus the needs of costumers inside this house just basic needs . Paper towel, trash bags , coffee maker , internet . We are not coming back . No more to this house.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry the stay fell short of expectations. We apologize for the Wi‑Fi credential issue — we will investigate the network and correct the access information. We’re also sorry the coffee maker was not working; we will have it inspected and repaired or replaced as needed. Regarding towels, paper towels and trash bags: we provide a "starter pack" intended to cover initial needs and this is noted in our pre-arrival information; we’ll work on clearer communication so future guests arrive prepared. We appreciate you noting the convenient walking distance to the beach and will use your feedback when assessing improvements.

Good

Ice maker never did work had to buy ice the whole time we were there 4 bags for a week. Nice place . 2 sets of steps may be difficult for older people. Wish it were closer to the beach. But it is a beautiful home . I’m older with having 3 knee replacements and COPD it was too far for me to walk in the heat. The kids had no problem. Homey feel to neighborhood right down to the icecream truck. Being from the Mtns. of NC my grands had never experienced that and even being teenagers they got excited when hearing the trucks music lol! Brought back my younger days. I would definitely rent this place again.
