The direct beach access at this property can't be beat! Great space for our whole family with plenty of room to gather but also escape for some privacy. Easy driving distance to lots of great activities and food. Cute home with lots of island charm.

The door handle to the only door leading to the beach was broken. We asked for it to be fixed it never was during our 6 day stay. Other maintenance issues like master bedroom door lock was broken. Lots of cobwebs on the windows that were on the top part of the A frame. Beach was great and so was the location. We enjoyed our stay other than what we stated above.

My family gathered to celebrate our grandsons first birthday. My daughter lives on Oahu, so my wife, other two sons and my wife's sister and her husband all came to see Kade and spend time together

Beautiful beach, clean and comfortable home

So nice to have great air conditioning and a very clean house. Had all the extras too for the beach. Right on the water, beautiful sandy beach. Comfortable furniture and plenty of room. Dinner seating for 16 people in their dining area, so it worked well when we had cousins visit. Best place we stayed in Oahu.

The house is very inviting and comfortable. The beach area was amazing! The rocks leading to the beach are large and flat. We had the whole beach area to ourselves. People passed by walking but never stopped. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watch the sunrises and sunsets. We woke up many mornings and went on the beach to watch the sunrise. There are great chairs to sit in on the porch or on the beach and we had plenty of beach towels for everyone, there was 7 of us. There are water toys also. My Grandkids really enjoyed the boogie boards. The washer and dryer really came in handy for us. Kacey was so fast to answer any questions and resolve any minor issues we had, he went over and above taking care of everything. I so appreciated him being so quick answering me when I had questions. He was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend staying there and I would stay there again if we are blessed enough to go back. Thank you Kacey for everything. Excellent location

The location is great, however, an hour drive to the tourist attractions so we drove almost every day. The beach was really nice but rocky. House clean levels were not the best. We had a ton of ants and roaches - don’t leave food in pantry or counters.

Memories were made!

My family and I took a vacation and we were looking for an oceanfront home. This property was our selected choice due to location, views, waterfront and space! Minimal deferred maintenance noted, house was clean, bathrooms could have used a little attention, but not too bad! We would rent this home again, given the opportunity and financial means! Thank You for allowing us to stay in your home, coconut trees in the yard were a plus!

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Everything was clean when we arrived and the check in process was super easy. Communication was great. Great location close to great beaches we love the waves at pounders beach. Upkeep on a house so close to the beach is hard but this place is well maintained. The swings and hammocks outside were amazing. Only note I have is there is one bedroom that doesn’t have AC so it is a little warm during the day. However, it cooled off great through the night so it was still usable. Would stay here again!

Beachside

We loved this darling house and being right on the beach. We could snorkel a 100 yards from shore since it’s a calm area with a reef. The accommodations were great. 2 of the 4 bedrooms are tiny but when you’re only in there to sleep, it didn’t bother us. Some of the outdoor toys were not in great shape and need to be replaced, like the paddle board and lawn chairs. But we were so thrilled to have a great backyard right on the ocean that we did not care. Just an FYI, the front of the house is right on a busy road if traffic noise is an issue for you. But again, being beach side cures many ills.

Family home close to ocean

Overall, the home was great being so close to the ocean was amazing. The home was comfortable and well stocked. Beware, they charged my credit card two months before the final charge was to be made. And they took the liberty to charge my card again a month and a half after our stay was over charging me $1224 again. Two weeks later I’m still waiting for the illegal charges to be reversed. Very concerning.

The host was welcoming and the home’s configuration and decor was charming. Right away our group that included tots, teens, grandpas and all the ages in between felt at home.We appreciated the host’s prompt communication and flexible support as we did some problem-solving for members of our group (like lost keys and changed itineraries).The location was ideal with easier drives to the PCC, a great beach for swimming, wading, and photos right outside the back door and a real treat for snorkeling just behind a neighboring yellow house. The hammocks, outside tables and chairs, and especially the swing made the outdoors even more inviting.The indoors had great views and comfortable temperatures.Learning how busy the road is that it is near made us extra glad we had paid the extra money to get a home right next to the ocean instead of other options just on the other side of the highway. Crossing the road would have been a big issue, but we didn’t have to worry about it in this home!The home was well stocked with cups, bowls, and beach towels, but could be restocked with some more forks and another sheet as it didn’t quite have all that our large group needed. We loved our stay at this truly magical beach home. We hope to return someday!

The AC in the main living space was out the entire stay. The screens are all broken and ripped out which allowed flies and bugs to enter the home while windows were opened. Advertised for 16 people- but that included 2 couch beds that were terribly uncomfortable and a blowup bed- none of which had linens available to use. Only 5 coffee mugs, missing basic silverware, wash rags, dish rags, hand towels, dish towels, and 6 people with no pillows. The trash bins were full and overflowing on arrival and the housekeepers asked us to finish 2 loads of laundry to have clean towels for the bathrooms at check in. Communication was fair with the owner, and 2 days in we were provided pillows and linens and 4 extra coffee mugs (so 9 total) but no repair or discount for the lack of AC or other issues that were not addressed. Location was great if that’s all you need. Probably good to accommodate 6-8 people, 10 max! And that’s if you do NOT need or desire air conditioning. I’ve never left a bad review and I’ve never encountered this poorly accommodated home.

House was perfect for our trip of 8. Upstairs was perfect area for the older kids. Awesome beach access, although bring water shoes due to the reef. Much more relaxed side of the island, people are very nice and friendly. Lots to do, if you get out to explore the area. Would definitely stay at this property again. The process was great start to finish and communication with any issue was addressed quickly.

Notre séjour dans cette propriété a été fabuleux en tout point! Notre grande famille de 10 personnes entre 13 et 75 ans a adoré. L’emplacement est parfait et les commodités sont excellentes. La vue et l’accès à la plage sont définitivement les points forts de cet endroit. Merci pour l’accueil et nous recommanderons cet hébergement avec plaisir.

Magical Stay

My family had a wonderful time at this Magic Beach House. The house is directly on the beach with a nice deck and lawn between the ocean and house. The roof has been completely redone, it looks so much better than the pictures now. The ocean is shallow for a long ways out to the reef that stops large waves. The day we got there it was really windy and we ran into some Portuguese Man of war (blue jellyfish looking things that sting) but did't see them the rest of the trip. We got told they go with the wind. Our family enjoyed the sunrises every morning with breakfast on the deck. The stand up paddle board that was available to use at the house was so much fun. We enjoyed the beach toys and made a sandcastle masterpiece almost every day. The sea breeze, ample fans and air condition coolers were helpful at night. The beds were comfy and there were enough towels for everyone. The washer and dryer was great for washing beach towels between outings. We loved our trip to Oahu and this house was a big part of that experience. Thank you Magic Beach House, hope to see you again soon.

We really loved it here!

This place was perfect for us for what we were looking for! We don't love a city/resort experience; we like a relaxed country feel with direct beach access, and we love staying on this part of the island. The views here are amazing, and this house accommodated our large family very well. The water here is shallow for quite a way out and the kids had so much fun playing in the water and on the boogie boards and stand up paddle board. It was so nice to be close to the Polynesian Cultural Center so we didn't have very far to go after the late night show, and it was easy to come back and see more on the next day. The loft is surprisingly awesome with fantastic views and you can fall asleep listening to the waves. Lots of large windows for awesome views all around. We loved having so many bathrooms as well. I love having a kitchen for meals. We save a lot of money and have a much better experience staying in a beach house. The owners were great to work with. I've stayed in 6 different places in Oahu on different trips and this was the best one for what we were looking for, price and experience combined, it really was magic on the north shore.
