Hvilket bedre sted at slappe af og nyde en velfortjent pause!

"Paradise Point" er det perfekte tilflugtssted for en familie, en ven eller parrets ferie. På "point" vil du nyde Panaramic Views af både Shallotte River og de smukke intercoastal vandveje. Paradise Point har en smuk Pier at fiske, hænge ud, eller bare se bådene gå forbi. Vi installerede en pool i 2017, og vi er glade for at have mulighed for at opvarme poolen fra marts 2019! Paradise Point har også en flydende dock, der er perfekt til at gemme din båd, tage en tur i kajakken eller nyde, mens du spiller i vandet. Tilbring dagen liggende i hængekøjen og en aften i boblebadet eller omkring ildstedet! Det er en kort køretur til enten Ocean Isle Beach eller Holden Beach. På det tidspunkt vil du være tæt på stranden, men i en privat, fredfyldt ferie. Paradise Point har 2 soveværelser og 2 badeværelser nedenunder. Ovenpå finder du 2 soveværelser og et bad plus et køjeområde og hems med et tv, komfortable siddepladser og en Wii. Gratis wifi i hele huset. På hovedniveau er der et fuldt udstyret køkken med alle nye tallerkener, redskaber og briller. 4 personer kan sidde på øen og der er et bord med to blade til at sidde op til 10 personer. Familieværelset har liggestole og en 55 "tv monteret over pejsen. Men den mest betagende del af huset går ud på overdimensioneret dæk. Dækket har et spiseområde, en propanbrande med kaptajnestole og en afskærmet veranda. Under verandaen har vi for nylig tilføjet en underdeck med en boblebad, tiki bar, kullgrill, tv og opholdsstue. Endnu for nylig har vi tilføjet et bordtennisbord !! Indenfor gåafstand er en fabelagtig restaurant, The Inlet View Bar og Grill. Børnene kan nyde endeløse timer i poolen og kigge efter havskaller eller eremitkrabber, fange stenkrabber i krabbefælden eller lege i sandområdet ved vandet. Paradise Point er en fantastisk beliggenhed med masser at gøre for børn og voksne i alle aldre!

Look no further. Excellent property, beautiful pool, amazing gazebo on pier to enjoy cool breezes, great kitchen for cooking, comfy beds, thick soft towels, walk to a really good restaurant and more. Even caught red drum right off the pier. We will definitely be coming back!

We just joined the '5-Timers Club", and our 6th visit is already booked!!

Having rented dozens of properties over the years, this is, BY FAR, our favorite place. Which is why we keep coming back. Gretchen is an amazing host and this property is simply amazing.

Family Wedding

The stay was great! Even though it was cold, the place was great. The kids loved the sand beach. Dolphins came by and the kids were amazed. The house was clean, well stacked, beautiful. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Vacation Spot

Paradise Pointe has everything you need if you just want to chill out for a few days. It is also close to beach if you want to beach-it and close enough to Myrtle Beach For a day trip to do all of the touristy things. We highly recommend this property and will definitely be back!

Beautiful location with lots of extras provided

Loved it so much that I've already booked a week for 2019. My family had a great time swimming, playing ping pong, kayaking, crabbing, fishing and just enjoying the view. Towels, cook ware were first rate and everything worked!

Great family vacation

What a wonderful time! The interior of the home is decorated so nice and very comfortable. The property is very convenient to grocery stores. We enjoyed everything from the heated pool, to the pier with the swing and the hot tub. Our host was top notch and very responsive. I would recommend this home for your family get aways.

Fabulous!

The house was amazing and we could not have found anything that even compared. We loved how clean and well stocked it was,the pool was great and the dock was a hit with everyone.

Beautiful

Nice organized clean kitchen to cook and eat in, comfy beds, clean bathrooms, lots of space to spread out. Swimming, sunbathing, book reading in screened porch, hot tub, fishing, campfire with s'mores, boat watching, beautiful moon view over the water, cozy TV, games, complete with watching lightning in the distance our last night. Close to shopping, many Beaches, sunset at sunset Beach, arcade, bowling and just an amazing view.

Unbelievable

This was our 10th year renting beach houses we normally do OBX but in all the years this one was my favorite. The house, location and amenities were top notch. I have fished Brunswick county coastal waters for 20+years and this has one of the best fishing holes around right off the dock. Our family made priceless memories to last a lifetime we will definitely be back!!

Oxendine Family weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay for the weekend. Enjoyed the pier for sure. We stayed on the pier and we caught fish and had lots of fun. This home is very nice and felt warm and comfy. Every thing we needed was there, we just needed our food. We cooked our meals and went out to eat just one time. Had a problem and Mrs. Clark was very attentive and responded. Felt like home and would loves to come back and visit in the future.

pre-Christmas visit

Nice! We had a great time the place is so nice! Hot tub, Pool, River my grandkids live close, so they came over to visit and had a ball. I texted with the host and each time she was right on it getting back to me and helping me out. Love the place Love the view and love being NOT in the hustle an bustle of tourist town! short drive to fantastic food (Smoke and Oyster Rock my favorites) pier fishing was good even in December. You will enjoy a nice relaxing place with a lot to do! Roland

Something for everyone!

Our stay at Paradise Point couldn't have been more perfect. Bringing a large family together and finding a place that everyone will enjoy is difficult, but this place did it! From fishing on the pier, lounging in the sand, or playing in the pool, there was something for everyone in our family to enjoy. Not to mention the hot tub and firepits that we enjoyed every night! The owner made you feel at home with thoughtful amenities throughout the home and was available to answer any questions we had. The kitchen is well stocked (we cooked 6 of the 7 nights we were there) and is large enough for at least 3 chefs at a time. We are already planning our next visit to Shallotte!

Best property!

Another amazing stay at the best house down there. Gretchen has thought of everything yet somehow manages to find a way to make another improvement each year. We have rented this home for the last 4 years and can’t wait to return next year for year 5. We fish off the pier, bring our boat to ride the intracoastal waterway, relax in the pool, and this year also went to the beach and 25 miles into the ocean fishing! There’s something here for every age. Highly recommend this home, just leave us a week so we can return as well. 😎😎😎

Family Vacation

Paradise Point was absolutely wonderful! Gretchen has thought of everything. The laundry baskets in each room was great but my family loved the blanket baskets! We caught several fish, some very interesting. My grandson even caught three stone crabs! We loved the pool and hot tub. Both so nice after golf. The home is so clean, comfortable and truly has everything you might need. I could have left half of what I brought at home! Thank you, Gretchen, for sharing you home with us.

Perfect Family Vacation

I can not say enough good things about our stay at Paradise Point. My family stayed here for a week in June and we had the most relaxing vacation. First off, the house is absolutely beautiful and exceptionally clean. We spent many nights relaxing on the deck, catching crabs, fishing off the pier, and kayaking almost everyday. The Inlet restaurant is very close (walking distance) and we enjoyed excellent food with an excellent view. The owner Gretchen was so easy to work with and she followed up with me to make sure we had everything we needed. The neighbors were so friendly too! If you are looking for a nice quiet getaway right on the water, but still very close to shopping and the beach then Paradise Point is your next place to vacation. We hope to come back next year!

The place was well above par and just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. I could not complain about any thing other then we did not want to leave and doing this review. By doing this review it might not be available next time and we would just hate that to happen. Gretchen was great to work with and available if we ever had a question. Can not thank you enough. Beautiful, Secret Treasure

We have been traveling to the Shallotte area for more than 20 years, usually staying on one of the beaches. This home on Shallotte Pointe was an amazing surprise this year. The photos of the home and property are an understatement to the experience. The home is beautifully decorated, yet cozy, feeling like a real home and not a rental property. The amenities provided are more than expected, giving us a truly relaxing time with family, never having to worry about a thing! The views, any direction you look, are nothing short of gorgeous. We felt so lucky to have found this treasure. We all had a great time and can only hope to stay there again. Also, I can't say enough that the owners truly care about their property and their guests. They were helpful and made the arrival and departure a breeze.

Cozy, clean & lots to do

My husband and I rented this property for my family and brother-in-laws family and it was just perfect. My in laws live 8 min up the street and we were having a ton of family in town, instead of squeezing into their home we got our own and we’re so glad we did. I’d only visited the area in the summers and thought our children would surely be bored since it was early December, not only was I wrong, but they didn’t want to leave. We fished the entire week, got in the hot tub a few times, Kayaked, and played board games all week. My husband usually has a hard time sleeping away from home and can never get comfortable in hotel beds, but these beds were all very comfortable and the sheets were soft and clean. I’m so glad we found this home and will definitely be staying again when we need an “overflow” home.

This place is awesome!

I can’t say enough about how nice this property is and what a great time we had. The house was beautiful and very nice. Beds were all very comfortable. So many places for people to hang out from the top deck with gas fire pit, tiki bar area with TV, hot tub, pool, outside wood burning fire pit and dock. The 2 hammocks - one on the upper deck and the other on the dock were so nice to relax in. We caught about 20 fish from the dock one morning, mainly small to medium croacker fish so we released them all - really good time especially if you have kids. There is a great restaurant/ bar on the water (2 minute walk from the house) with great food and a really nice view of the water. We played golf at Oyster Bay and River’s Edge. Both premium courses with incredible views and both within 20 mins of the house. The owner was very nice and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back. Come stay at this property and you won’t be disappointed!!!

My husband, Matt, and I have been married for 22 years. We have 2 children ages 20 and 18, a boy and a girl. We enjoy playing sports, hanging out with friends and family, attending Church, and most of all, going to Paradise Point!

This property has been in my husband's family since the 1930's. This house was built by his Aunt and Uncle and we had the opportunity to buy it in the summer of 2015. My husband grew up fishing and playing on this property and waterways and we have been coming here since we started dating. He even proposed to me on the pier of our new house over the 3rd of July, 2002. When we had the opportunity to buy the house, we just could not pass it up. It is a secret spot that is truly paradise!

The Views at Paradise Point are like no others. We frequently see yachts, barges, sailboats and shrimp boats go by. When fishing we have caught various fish, sting rays, eels, flounder, trout, and even an octopus! It is so much fun to leave the crab trap out and see what you get or to put out the minnow trap and use fresh minnow for bait. If you enjoy fishing, this is the place for you. And, if you don't fish, you will have so much fun watching (and may enjoy fishing after this experience). There is a man-made beach beside the water but the actual waterfront is located on an oyster shell bank. While this requires swimmers to wear water shoes, it also allows for entertaining sea shell and crab hunting. We also have a beautiful pool with a fire pit seating area beside it and an underdeck with a hot tub, tiki bar, tv and more! The most relaxing thing about Paradise Point to me is watching the sunset. It is just a breathtaking time of day. We have several different outdoor sitting areas so you can see if from a slightly different spot every day! We love to eat in so there is a fully stocked kitchen and a grill for your use. However, if you choose to eat out, the Inlet View Bar and grill is within walking distance (.1 miles). If you enjoy site seeing, historical areas, or touristy events; Wilmington and Myrtle Beach are 45 minutes away. The beach is an easy 10 minute drive but nothing beats coming back to Paradise Point!
