This is definitely a property I would return to. Very nice house—everything was as described. Pool was relaxing —dock overlooking the lake was a great place for coffee in morning and a cold beer at night. Rita was a very responsive hostess —available to answer any questions. If considering a nice quiet stay in a nice quiet neighborhood—definitely book this house.

Beautiful view

We enjoyed our visit to Cape Coral. The house was spacious and the view of the lake was beautiful. We loved the pool area. Hazel was so helpful and made us feel welcome. Thank you.

Spring break 2024

We enjoyed our time here.Sunrise on the lake was amazing. It was a perfect spot! The home was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family with 3 teenagers! Easy contact with the couple of questions we had

Neat property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. Having the pool located in a courtyard allowed us the freedom to stay up late and laugh loud. We did not feel that we were encroaching on any of the neighbors sleep with that setup. It was also nice to sit on the dock and enjoy a beverage in the evening.

Perfect vacation home

Very clean, spacious home situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Very comfortable beds and plenty of towels. The appliances are top quality and the refrigerator is awesome. The pool was clean and in April warm for swimming. The deck by the lake was fun to catch blue gills and watch the many turtles. We stayed the month of April and look forward to returning. Hazel the homes manager lives a door away and was always available to answer any questions. She is fabulous. Rita was quick to reply and has excellent communication skills.

Family spring break

The location is beautiful but quite a drive from the beaches, if that is what you are there for. We very much enjoyed the screened in patio as well as the pool and the patio by the lake. It was also a great location for our small dogs. Kitchen was fairly well equipped and allowed us to make a variety of different dinners in addition to grilling. We had 4 teens with us as well as two 11 year olds. They all found plenty to keep them entertained for the week and the space worked out great. The property manager is very responsive and worked with us whenever we had a question. The only downside was the lack of pool and beach supplies/toys. We needed to bring our own, which was a hassle but we drove so we could put in the car top carrier. If someone was flying and wanted to go to the beach, they would need to rent chairs and umbrella at beach and would have a shortage of beach towel and no cooler. It would be great if the host could minimally invest in at least a cooler and a few more beach towels so they have at least 8 since the property advertises a capacity of 8, even if just for around the pool. Then the bath towels don’t need to be used. Overall a great trip enjoyed by all. We would stay again at the property.

1. place was very clean 2. beds were very comfortable 3. no other furniture was comfortable (dining room chairs tilt way back, living room couch was stiff, even outdoor furniture, while in great condition, was hard and ungiving 4. we were never able to get pool or hot tub heaters to work. this is sad since the last review I read, in Oct complained about needing better instructions for pool & hot tub so I thought they'd be updated 5. cabana house/room needs hangers or hooks (absolutely no place to put stuff) 6. we had 1 small problem w/light and fan in cabana, called Hazel (next door manager) Good thing we had house booklet with her # in it because # I was given in check in instrucs was wrong. she was great & brought over a lamp right away(which worked but it wasn't overhead lighting :( and also took up valuable nightstand space) (see item 5) 7. none of the screen doors shut properly (which in gecko-land FL is a big deal) Overall the place was OK, nothing horribly wrong but not warm and comfy make you want to go back either

House was sadly misrepresented

The property was dated . Many items substandard. We have video and pictures. Issues we encountered during our stay: Pool cues had no tips so after purchasing tips discovered table was broken in half. One thing we wanted with 3 teens along. Back patio lights and fans gross patio furniture moldy. Pocket door in cabana bathroom broken off the track and toilet backed up often. Ice machine in cabana did not work nor did the wall air conditioner. Wall beneath and around the air conditioner was falling apart. Light switches that were labeled were almost unreadable, some were not labeled at all. Some switches very loose in wall, tape holding them in and some outlets had no power. Back patio door didn't lock at all. Water for sprinklers had terrible odor. Twin beds in 3rd bedroom were poor quality, one leg broke on our first night. TV in 3rd bedroom had no remote, had to download phone app to use TV. Water pressure was just fair and hot water was almost non existent. The Master bedroom has a jacuzzi tub that doesn't work. The kitchen pots and pans were something I wouldn't even put in my camper. We had 7 people and only 5 chairs at the table and only 6 forks to be found. The knifes were rusty and dull. We washed everything by hand because the dishwasher does not clean the dishes. We purchased a knife sharpener so that we could cut produce & meat. One of the globes on the light above the dining table was broken. Bar stools were of a pleather material that continuously disintegrated all over the floor. The pool and hot tub run off of a system. You can’t run both filters at the same time but you wouldn’t know that because there are no instructions for operating the system. The area around the pool was nicely done. My husband sat down at the patio table with a cup of coffee and spilled it because one of the legs on the table was 2” shorter than the other 3. He placed a rock out of the garden under the short leg for the duration of our stay. Internet was spotty at best and we had outages at least once daily if not more. The property manager Hazel and Arthur the repair man were very nice and did all they could to help but there were things they just couldn't fix. Arthur rigged up a shower curtain on the broken bathroom pocket door and Hazel showed us how to unclog the toilet when it clogged. Contacted the owner and was offered a discount next time we stay… that’s not gonna happen. I was not looking for a free stay but some sincerity would have been nice.

Made some nice family memories

The view at this property is absolutely wonderful especially sunrise and sunset. We made some great family memories here. We enjoyed the pool and seeing turtles at the dock/cabana. This is a central location and stores and beaches not too far away. House is definitely bigger on inside than what the outside or pictures show. We had plenty of room which is nice because we brought our two dogs.

Mariner

Pluses: Quiet neighborhood and away from high traffic area. Shopping and restaurants were an easy drive. Very clean and pleasantly furnished. Very large, screened lanai with good view of pond. Huge palm trees surround property. Screen covered pool area inside front entryway (somewhat odd) and also separated by walls, doors to home's interior. Had enough pots, pans, dishes and silverware. AC was working fine. Property manager, Hazel, was responsive. Community is good for pet walking. Coffeemaker was a Keurig for grounds or pod style. Cons: Patio door to lanai was impossible to open, close and lock. Outside lanai screen doors also difficult to open/close due to heaving exterior. Outside of property needs TLC. Huge palm trees have many dead branches and one came crashing down on deck as we were sitting in lanai. Deck by pond needs major overhaul due to rotting and there is no safety ladder should it be needed. Front exterior is overgrown. Keyless entry would be nice as there was 1 key in lockbox. Property manual needs major overhaul Some blinds inside need replacing. Garage is unusable for larger vehicle due to unorganized junk on floor--old paint cans, chemicals and bar stools. Had to use garage to enter and exit home.

Besides the AC not working for our entire stay and no response from property owner regarding this, we enjoyed our stay. We were concerned after reading the last review made and reached out to owner expressing our concerns. We were assured everything was in working order and were a little upset when we learned that wasn’t all true. The house is also a little bit far from any beaches as well. House was clean.

Team building trip

We are a group of co works on a team building trip. Hired a local fishing charter nearby. The house had plenty of room and the design gave plenty of privacy. We felt very comfortable and really enjoyed the stay. Only issue we noticed was it needs a bit more maintenance to stay up to par.

Our stay was exactly as we expected and perfect for our group waiting for our Key West Express Trip.

It was exactly as advertised and had everything we needed. The only disappointment was the pool table being so warped that you couldn't play a game on it. Thank you!

Great views of lake which was relaxing. Close to grocery store and shopping.

Cleaning people were there when we arrived so 30 minutes to access home. Our visit was interrupted on second day by handyman and pool service. Could not use pool for 2 hours after treatment. Pool / Spa not heated, plugs in main house bath and master bath did not work. Although we were told there was premium cable TV, the picture quality was very low resolutions, almost unwatchable. Not enough silverware for four people so had to run dishwasher twice a day. Cookware and oven pans were very old and should be replaced.

Quaint home

We enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and has a great view of the lake. We enjoyed the meals outside. It has a great table and comfortable chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped. The hot tub has the perfect temperature. I would say that most of the comments are positive. I must say, however, the living room’s sofa is extremely uncomfortable and some of the chairs in the dining room are flimsy. In sum, we had a great, relaxing time.

Stayca Getaway!

We spent the weekend for my birthday, we had a great time with the pool & dock. We were less than an hour from Sanibel, beautiful beaches. I loved the salt water pool and the open layout of the home. One cool feature was the exotic fruit trees they have around the house. The allowed my dogs to come, they loved hanging out around the pool and the backyard. The only negative I would have would be that the microwave wasn’t working, notified the property manager and she got back to me quickly. She said she would get it fixed. We appreciate her prompt responses. Would definitely stay here again.

Great House!

Great time at the house! Was clean and fun! Rita and Hazel were attentive and responsive hosts. We caught a bunch of fish in the lake and my son loved all the turtles! Would definitely stay there again!!

Forida vacation

Arcadia door does not function and there is a 3/8" gap at bottom where critters come and go. Water pressure in all showers very weak. The unknown smell was overpowering, plug ins helped but was always there. We could only use 2 of the 6 dinning room chairs because they are extremely dangerous. They ask you to strip the sheets when you leave and that was the worst. The bed in the casita was so soiled. UNBELIEVABLE! The casita had its own odor which was musty. That could be from mold in the wall AC unit and the black substance on the back of the bathroom door. When you shower the water hits the bathroom door. Limited furniture in the casita for luggage and no chair for sitting. The terrible rating for cleanliness and overall is for that mattress in the casita!
