We stayed here with a group of 13 extended family to visit my daughter who is a student at IU. Communication with Jonah was great, but unfortunately, that is the only thing great about this experience. The house is a good size for many people to gather and we comfortably were able to watch the football game and the kids were able to explore some of the property. But, when I walked into the house for the first time, I was incredibly disappointed. The front door was unlocked (which is good bc the code he gave me didnt work), and back door was open. I found that the door wouldn’t stay closed unless the deadbolt was engaged. The kitchen and living area was okay, but the bedrooms and bathrooms were all worn down and not in the condition indicated in the listing. For example, one of the beds was just a box spring and mattress on the ground w a frame around it to make it look like a bed. The sink in that bathroom had large gapping crack in it, and the surround of the shower was wood paneling that had definitely been getting wet. The backyard had not been mown in quite some time as the grass was up to my mid shin, the railing of one side of the pool ladder was broken off leaving a very jagged edge, etc, etc. There were more issues, but I’m running out of room. Anyway, Jonah came to fix the lawn, door, and pool railing within an hour of me reaching out. We appreciated that. But the house was not worth the thousands we paid for 2 nights. He said he’d give us a discount but hasn’t yet.
