Big House by the Sea er en familievenlig ferie udlejning med udsigt over bugten og balkoner i massevis i det gatede kvarter Destiny West. Big House by the Sea er bygget specielt til familier og venner på ferie. Dette hjem omfatter 5,491 kvadratmeter boligareal og over 3.000 kvadratfod frodige udendørs beboelsesrum, herunder en privat pool, en overdækket Lanai og 5 store møblerede udendørs balkoner. Med otte soveværelser og syv badeværelser, hjemmet plads til op til 30 gæster! Syv af soveværelserne har eget badeværelse, eget badeværelse, og hvert soveværelse har fladskærms-tv. Første sal indeholder tre af soveværelserne, et spilrum og en våd bar. Køkkenet har en stor ø, hvor du kan forberede måltider eller spise i baren, der har plads til fire. Dette køkken har alle de faciliteter, der er nødvendige for at forberede måltider i hele dit ophold. En crock pot, blender, brødrister, kaffekande, opvaskemaskine, mikrobølgeovn og rustfrit stål Viking apparater er forudsat. De dobbelte ovne, grydespændingskranen over ovnen og 6-brænderens gasområde med grill og kogeplade gør dette til et køkken med kokken. Har en familie-stil middag på det store genvundne træ spisebord med plads til 12. Ved siden af ?? spisepladsen er der en balkon med udsigt over poolen.

Stuen er det ideelle underholdningscenter til din familie og venner at komme sammen. Et 70-tommers fladskærms-tv, en Blu-ray-afspiller og surround-lyd giver stuen en teaterlignende atmosfære. En særlig tilføjelse til stuen er Bluetooth-funktionen af lydsystemet, der giver dig mulighed for at oprette forbindelse til dine smarte enheder. To lædersofaer, 2 sofa stole og 4 kurvestole giver masser af plads. Udenfor stuen ligger en balkon med udsigt over Den Mexicanske Golf. En 5-bit bistro og andre havemøbler giver komfortable rum til at nyde denne balkon og en smuk udsigt.

Amazing Vacation Home

We have been vacationing at least once a year in Destin since 1998. This is the BEST home we have stayed in. The common areas are spacious and plenty. The house is excellently maintained. The beds and pillow are very comfortable. The pool and outdoor area is crazy good! The kitchen could use a few more items if your family is large and cooks all meals. Definitely, we will rent again!

Absolutely Perfect!!!

Stunning Home! There is not one single negative thing about this house. It is the perfect combination of togetherness and space to be alone (if needed). Plenty of room and lots of entertainment. Fantastic outdoor space as well. The house is in a perfect location just across the street from the beach and plenty of restaurants, shops and stores nearby. Wish I could've stayed forever! Will definitely be back :)

Perfect House

Six families came together to enjoy spring break. We love to cook and share meals- kitchen and dining table accommodated all of us. The en-suite bedrooms were extremely comfortable for adults and the bunk rooms handled children perfectly. The pool and outdoor living spaces are amazing! There are four balconies which provided ample space for people to “get away” from our larger group. This house is well appointed and initial supplies sufficient to start the week were provided. House is close to beach, shopping, and several grocery stores This house and the area helped make this vacation our best ever.

Fabulous wedding weekend!

My family gathered here for our nieces' wedding and had a wonderful time! The home is amazing, so many spaces to gather and so many places to relax and enjoy alone time. We were a group of 23 including 6 children, the bunkbed rooms were great for our family and the king bedrooms were such a bonus, no one felt shorted. The pool, jacuzzi and outside area was a great place to entertain, it was clean and well appointed, no shortage of seating or lounge chairs. We enjoyed the outside grill and refrigerator after the wedding for appetizers and cocktails. The kitchen could have used a few more pots and pans but that would be my only recommendation. It was truly a fabulous place, I hope to gather there again.

Great Family Celebration Home

We had a family gathering of 16 adults ranging from ages 25-85 for a week in this Destin area home and it was a perfect ! The house is spacious and has everything you need. Decor and art work is outstanding, and everything is high quality throughout the house. Loved the kitchen and dining area as it is spacious and can accommodate a large group. Appliances are top notch and appreciated the several coffeepots for the morning rush.Pool area and balconies are all equipped with high quality furnishings as are the bedrooms and many bathrooms. The owners are to be complimented on their exquisite taste ! The Five Star Bliss beach rentals was wonderful to work with...they are very professional and efficient ! Every question was answered immediately. This was my first time in the Destin area and I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a great vacation experience.

WOW-Best Vacation Rental Ever, Love Destin, Love this House!

Sitting on the balcony listening to the fountain in the pool on my last day here and so sad to leave! We had our 3 children, 12, 20 and 22 each invite friends and we all had a great time. The house is BIG, 3 bedrooms on 3rd floor, 2 on the second and 3 on the first. Each had its own private bath except the small bunk room on first floor that had a half bath (and could share with the other 2 on first floor), The beds were so comfy, the showers each had unique glass tiling and rain shower heads and there were two masters with jet tubs that my 5'8" frame could actually relax and not bend my knees. Kitchen is huge, all appliances huge and loved 2 dishwashers and 4 trash bins, made cleaning up not a chore too to keep up with it. The great room was great, dining table sat 10 easily but chairs for 16 that did fit and 4 more right beside it at the kitchen counter. We like to eat as a big family and here we could and NOT feel cramped. No kids table necessary, but there was one in the living room which we played games at while watching the Olympics. Had on demand TV in the living room too so we could keep up with our favorite tv shows. The kids used the pool table on the first floor and we used the elevator for groceries. But the main attraction at this house is the POOL. Oh my gosh, we were there all the time. There is a table in the pool that we played games and ate at, there is a tanning shelf with cool chairs that I actually feel asleep, the center of the pool was big enough for games and swimming and the spa that we all sat in at the same time, 11 of us, just relaxing at the end of the day. The lights turned on at night and we were back out there with the sonos sound system playing our playlist. No one wanted to ever go to bed, but we were so tired from the day's activities, we eventually did. We called the management company once for the outside pool alarm, they were so prompt and fixed it right away, I guess it is something that happens but the inside pool alarm worked so after a day, you figure it out and it becomes habit. I understand Florida law now for pools and a great idea for families with younger children, they will not be getting into this pool without you knowing it. We grilled by the pool and because there is a tv out there, we watched Olympics at night too, which was so cool outside. And the location is fantastic. I really liked being in the gated community. We never used the neighborhood pool because the one at the house was so good, but some of

Destin 2021 Getaway

Overall house was great location with easy access to beach. Very spacious for large party to be together all week. Property management company was very responsive to issues and overall communication was fantastic.

Unsatisfied stay

I rented this property for a family members birthday. We had a house full. A lot of the people staying were 60+, which is why we rented this property due to the elevator. Upon arriving to the property, we didn’t have our access information, which was fine we called and they gave us the information. We were told it would automatically populate which it didn’t. Once we got in, I realized you had to pay to heat the hot tub and pool. So I paid. It took 2 days for it to heat up. I work from my computer and when I tried to access the wifi, it didn’t work. The management group sent their tech out and it fixed it but it only worked on second level. THE THIRD FLOOR NEVER GOT WIFI. THE CABLE DIDN’T WORK EITHER. None of the TVs would play any tv. It would work sporadically but that was it. It was crucial for us to have television as we had children who wanted to. The 1st full day we were there the elevator breaks and they were unable to fix it. So the main reason we rented the property stopped working and couldn’t be fixed and never got fixed while we were there. There was an alive roach in one of the master bedrooms (the one with bunks built in). I have pictures of it. The tires were flat on the bikes that were offered. The SONOS sound system isn’t there. I don’t know why the listing says so but it’s not. You cannot work the surround sound at all. I probably called the management company over 50 times. Not worth the money I spent for the uncleanliness, inoperable elevator, horrible wifi, horrible cable, and overall experience was just not enjoyable because there was a problem with ALL OF THE AMENITIES that were offered. I could’ve stayed in a basic motel for that. Climbing stairs with elders and no wifi. Do not recommend at all.

Great location!

Great location and house. Loved the heated pool and hot tub (once we learned how the heat worked). Only irritation was the pool alarm went off every time you opened the door to go inside. Very family friendly with lots to do.

Beautiful house

We loved the location, the house perfect size for a our family 16. The house floors we filthy, if we walked around in our bare feet. The bottom of our feet would be black. We killed a cockroach in the kitchen and there were ants on the counter and in pantry cabinet. There is blue tape holding the tile floor in place.

Great for a family celebration

Celebrated our 50th anniversary with our entire family. Plenty of space and large rooms. Fantastic pool and 2 minute walk to best part of the beach. Met or exceeded all our expectations. Management company was great to work with.

Great house that’s been run down and not maintained.

While the house is very large and appointed well, lack of maintenance and likely rough renters leave many items broken with a maintenance crew that makes many visits to waste vacation time and repairs little to nothing. Slider door needs to be replaced as it can’t close or lock. Outdoor sink handle is broken. Ice maker doesn’t make ice, nor does indoor. Outdoor tv doesn’t get any channels, so useless. Kitchen refrigerator makes awful noise and leaks water across the floor. Based on rotted trim work near the fridge, seems to be a long standing problem. These are just a few of the many broken items in the house. Owners and renters should be ashamed to charge the rates they do for this house which is in poor repair.

Great vacation

We visited Destin with 5 other families and we stayed in this house. This was our second trip to Destin and this house was wonderful. The house provides plenty of space to accommodate a group of 30. The weather was sorta windy a few days so it was very nice to have the amazing heated pool at the house. Its convenient to the beach, restaurants and shopping. On my next trip to Destin I will stay at this house again. 5 star properties was amazing to work with too.

Incredible house that fit 25 people very comfortably!

We have a big group of friends and this house was perfect for us! It’s very convenient to get to the beach even though it’s not right on the beach. Every room is very comfortable and the living area is so spacious!! All 25 of us were extremely happy with the amenities that came with this house. Would highly recommend to anyone who has a big Group!!!

Poorly Managed Property

What a shame that this great house is so poorly managed. I'll just list a few of the issues...One bedroom and bathroom had no power for 3 days, there was sand in several of the beds, the main outside grill hasn't been cleaned for years and is unusable, the other gas grill had no propane, food in the disposal resulting in gnats all over the main floor, the sliding door to the pool is off its tracks, the handle to the other access door falls off, several lights weren't working, lock to spiral staircase wasn't functional(not good with small kids), downstairs dryer doesn't dry, counters required an additional cleaning, etc...Sound like a great vacation? We also had no one great us at the house and show us how to use the alarm and no key to the work out room/ community pool. We finally got a key at 3pm on Thursday of a Sat to Sat stay. Again...a great house, but way too many issues and slow response times!!!

Best beach house EVER!

I've stayed in several beach houses and this one surpasses them all. It's huge. We had 25 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room. The decor, the balconies (5 total) with amazing views, and the 2 minute walk to the beach...this house left nothing to be desired. You will never want to leave.

HOUSE WAS BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT

THE WHOLE HOUSE WAS GREAT FOR OUR FAMILY. UNFORTUNATELY MY SISTER AND HER FAMILY WERE UNABLE TO ATTEND SO IT WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTING FOR ALL OF US. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS A FEW MAINTENANCE ISSUES.OUR FREEZER FROZE UP AND THE ELEVATOR DIDN'T WANT TO WORK.HAD TO HAVE SOMEONE COME TO THE HOUSE WITHIN THE FIRST 24 HOURS WE WERE THERE.ALSO SOME OF THE POOL FURNITURE WAS BROKEN.WE FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY WHEN MY 80 YR OLD MOTHER SAT DOWN AND LEANED BACK AND THE HEAD FELL STRAIGHT BACK.SHE WASN'T HURT,BUT WE CHECKED ALL THE OTHER LOUNGERS BEFORE ANYONE ELSE SAT DOWN.ENOUGH COMPLAINING THE DINING ROOM TABLE WAS PERFECT FOR ALL OF US TO EAT TOGETHER AND KITCHEN HAD AMPLE ROOM FOR FOOD PREP AND SOCIALIZING. YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO YELL AT ANYONE TO GET OF THE KITCHEN WHILE COOKING.EVERYONE LOVED THE POOL.I REALLY THINK THAT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE HOUSE FOR THE YOUNGER MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY.THANK YOU FOR LETTING US ENJOY THIS BEAUTIFUL HOME.

Great house for a family but things inside as far as cleaning and grill outside need to be fixed.

I would suggest that the property know if the pool heater was not working because we asked for it to be heated and the pool person came by and said because it was raining he couldn't get the heater to work and this was an excuse. The grill at the property needs to be replaced and was so dirty with grease The vents on the grill in the house and outside were very dirty and need to be cleaned. This is a great house and a lot of great things but things needed to be fixed and weren't and I called for 1 thing or another and I felt that the service was slow when I called on things. I was informed there was a heated hot tub but not the case because you have to heat the pool. When we try heating pool heater didn't work. I sent an e-mail 60 days ago about the problems and I'm stilling waiting on a response. I've called 8/10 to get a call back to see if anyone is every going to address the issues. Floors in the house were not as clean as they should of been for a house that was just cleaned.

LOVE the Big House by the Sea!!

Was lucky enough to stay here the first week of March with 18 other ladies on our annual tennis trip. This is our 11th year going and it was by far the best, due almost entirely to this wonderful house. There was more than enough room for all of us and the house was so well equipped we didn't lack a thing. We used the hot tub and heated pool daily and enjoyed the beautiful vies from the many, many balconies. I cannot recommend this house enough. The beach was right across the street and there were several restaurants with in walking distance. The house had 6 bikes that we really enjoyed. We usually spend a lot of time eating out but this trip we stayed in and cooked in the huge kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Couldn't Ask for More

This house was exactly what we needed for a large group getaway for girlfriends. Plenty of room to spread out with beds for all (very comfortable beds too!). Every where you turned there was a balcony or patio with seating. The large common area had plenty of space for all to be together while cooking and enjoying meals. This would be a perfect destination for families with kids too. The pool is huge and the beach is just a quick walk across the street. You can't beat the gulf coast beaches! Close to many restaurants and shops.

Amazing Girls Weekend

Just got back from a girls weekend at the Big House by the Sea and it was amazing. We were technically there to play tennis at a nearby club, but it was hard to leave the house it was so great. The pool and hot tub which we had heated were so great. Even on a chilly night the hot tub was a welcome retreat. I stayed in the bunk room which I loved. It's nothing like a regular bunk bed. The beds are very comfortable, you have tons of head room, you can pull closed the curtain and you have your own personal TV. I could have just stayed in my bunk all weekend! We spent tons of time around huge island in the kitchen plus there are so many balconies everyone could spread out when we wanted. Best place I've ever stayed. Loved it!
