Beliggende i den foretrukne nordøstlige kyst af Korfu Koutsounada House er en elegant og moderne ejendom bygget i Corfiot stil. Beliggende blandt oliventræer i rolige grunde strækker til en hektar det er smagfuldt indrettet og meget veludstyret til både indendørs og udendørs levende. Der er en stor 6m x 12m pool, en BBQ og udendørs spiseplads plus andre udendørs siddepladser rum. Kun 300 meter bag den fantastiske hvide halvmåne af Avlaki beach dette charmerende hus vil appellere til familier på udkig efter afsondrethed med aktiviteter for de mere energiske på døren. Stranden er dejligt uspoleret og har to fremragende tavernaer (med gratis trådløs internetadgang), windsurfing, jolle sejlads og bådudlejning; ridning er også tilgængelig i nærheden. Den maleriske landsby Agios Stefanos er en kort køretur væk, som er havnebyen Kassiopi med sine butikker, barer og pulserende natteliv. Lokale supermarkeder er en 5 minutters kørsel (20 minutters gang) og vil levere gratis.

A wonderful stay in this beautiful property with a lovely pool and tranquil gardens. We didn’t hire a car and the hosts were so good at helping us arrange a transfer to the Villa and shopping to be delivered and we felt we had all we needed with one of the best beaches on the Island and best Tavernas within walking distance. The baklava there is wonderful! Swam in sea before breakfast and snorkelled. A magical stay

This is a gorgeous property located in the stunning Emeritus national park. We enjoyed the swimming pool & beautiful property and surrounding area. Moments from the beach & all the fun of the coastal villages along the NE coast of Corfu. Strong recommend!

Erimitis is indeed a wonderful natural habitat of immense natural beauty with untouched lakes, hidden pebble beaches and ancient trees - we are so lucky to have it on our doorstep! We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday at Villa Koutsounada. The villa was in a perfect spot for us, close to the beach and a couple of tavernas. The villa was very well appointed, especially the kitchen with efficient air conditioning throughout the house. Communication with the host was easy and all our queries were answered and responded to. We loved the outside space and the pool was well used! We hope to return.

Family of 5 all delighted with the property and location. Great communication, property pretty much exactly as expected and very happy with what we found, air conditioning was a godsend, lovely pool, would certainly stay again. If I was being super critical, the cushions to the external furniture should be properly cleaned or moved inside overnight - they were a little out of keeping with the standard of the rest of the villa. Thank you very much for 2 great weeks.

The house is absolutely beautiful sitting in spacious grounds with an amazing pool which gets shade in the late afternoon. It exceeded my (quite high) expectations and we would love to go back. The various shady seating areas were such a delight if you had enough baking in the sun and the ping pong was fun. There is a house next door through hedges (Avlaki Cottage) and you can hear those guests a little bit but it is otherwise really quiet (other than the soundtrack of crickets and birds).It is really well stocked with kitchen things and everything worked. We were really comfortable there and it had everything we needed. We didn’t cook much and didn’t barbecue (there was a ban in place anyway) but it’s a very easy house to live in with effective air conditioning and the beds were excellent too. Avlaki bay is quiet compared with neighbouring ones which have more tavernas and you’ll need a car for a shop but it was such a pleasure to come back to at the end of the day. Go and see the lovely people at Avlaki Boats and hire one for the day. We did it three times and it was wonderful. We learned that in some places including Kalami and Agni you need a reservation at a taverna to moor at the jetty but Kassiopi has an easy harbour without that restriction. We went with two teenagers and we had an amazing time. It was the best holiday we’ve had in recent years and I am so happy we found it,

Amazing location and the villa is beautiful

We have lucked out on this beautiful Villa in Avlaki. Not only was it beautifully clean it is situated in an amazing quiet location yet only 200mtrs to the beach in the bay of Avlaki, with its crystal clear water.

Excellent Villa in a Quiet Location

Excellent accommodation if you want a top quality villa in a quiet location. The 2 restaurants / tavernas next to the beach and 5 minutes stroll away are both excellent. If you have a car then this a great base from which to visit Northern Corfu but it is also fine to just kick back with friends.

Perfect family stay

This is a beautiful house and suited us - 6 adults - perfectly, though would work well for up to eight. We loved the pool and various spaces to sit outside, to eat, read or sunbathe, and made good use of the table-tennis and bbq. Perfectly situated for peace and calm, but an easy stroll to the beach for swimming, boat hire and excellent taverna.

Beautiful Villa in a great location

We loved the villa and the pool was beautiful. The villa is just a short walk to Avlaki beach and a great Taverna. The villa was extremely well equipped and very comfortable. The managers were very attentive and it was kept really clean for the entirety of our stay. The area is beautiful with lots of towns to explore either by car or even better by boat.

Family Holiday 16 to

A very relaxing place to have a holiday. Very close to one of the nicest beaches, and the best taverna at the end the lane. The house is just lovely, great location, private, well designed, very comfortable with lots of shady garden areas and a fantastic pool. We had a veryrelaxing and enjoyable week and will definitely be back. Thank you for letting us stay.

Wonderful Koutsounada

Our third visit to this wonderful villa on Avlaki bay. Everything was as good as previous visits which will ensure we come back many more times. Our grownup family for the first week and friends for the second is a winning combination. We visited our usual restaurants (Cavo barbera, Thomas’s, Nikolas, Kochili, and our brand new favourite, Kima in Kassiopi). Highly recommend.

Lovely villa, very well equipped and an easy walk to the beautiful Avlaki beach

We had a great holiday, the villa is in a perfect location. Local beach restaurant is lovely (recommended by Patricia). We hired a boat and spent our days visiting all sorts of beautiful bays and coves - which we would highly recommend. Patricia and Natoushka were super helpful before and during the holiday. Thank you

We are a group of 6 female friends and rented this delightful villa for one week. it was a wonderful experience. The building is excellently furnished, with great art work , and the kitchen is well equipped. The beach below is gorgeous and the views across to Albania stunning. Fabulous pool surrounded by olive trees. Shopping was more difficult because we did not have a car. But we managed to walk to the shops and also to Kassiopi, and sometimes took taxis that were reasonably priced at 10 Euros

Perfect holiday retreat

Stayed for a very enjoyable week in June and found the villa/house to be very comfortable and well placed for a quiet retreat in a delightful garden with a wonderful pool. However, the lovely Avlaki Bay is just a short walk away and has the great fortune to have a very friendly taverna - Cavo Barbaro - which produced such delicious food that we ate there 5 nights out of the 7! We had a couple of trips out and really enjoyed a boat trip which afforded us the opportunity to see all the surrounding bays from a different vantage point. Everyone was so friendly in Corfu and I would thoroughly recommend the house.

This was our 10th consecutive family summer holiday on the beautiful North East coast of Corfu. We have used this villa for the last five of those visits since, put quite simply, it is fabulous in every way and highly recommended. As always, we loved the pool and the short walk to Avlaki bay, where you can swim in cool crystal clear water with not too many people to spoil the tranquility or eat and drink at one of two tavernas on the bay. We even found a great new restaurant this year, Lismari. Great setting, super food and excellent service and they picked us up from the villa and took us back free of charge, what’s not to like! Great owners, great helpful local team, give it a go……as long as is not not when we want to be there

This was our 4th two week stay at this villa and before the end of the 1st week we were already discussing 2025. Missing out on a five star villa in a five star location was just too big a risk to take!

Party of eight , we all loved the pool, table tennis and house games. The house has ac which is essential in summer. The barbecue and outdoor dining area are great. The location is perfect with a short walk to Avlaki beach being a huge bonus. Taxi to kassiopi or Agni around €10 . We hired a boat for two days right from the beach which we highly recommend All in all a fab stay, thank you x

Glad to hear that all 8 of you enjoyed your stay in Koutsounada, taking advantage of all the house and location have to offer. As you say, the short walk to the beach is such a bonus - even more so in the height of the summer.

Family reunion

We stayed at Koutsounada House 10 years ago and everything was just as we remembered-only better. The addition of the ping pong table went down especially well with the young people! Communication from the owner and housekeeper was excellent, as before. Plenty of space for the 7 of us, and never a problem finding a quiet shady spot to read. In summary, Koutsounada is clean, spacious, comfortable and in an ideal spot -walking distance to the beach but nice and quiet back at the house!

Beautiful

Peaceful quiet setting, loved hearing the sound of the pebbles from beach moving with waves. Generous sized pool to exercise in, well equipped to high standard throughout the house. Seconds from beach and two tavernas, local supermarket delivers and will come and collect you. So need for car unless you want to explore, I would describe the location as s situated in a golden triangle, villa, beach, taverna. Heaven.

Highly recommended

This is our third two week stay at this fantastic villa and we have loved it more each time. The location is perfect with fabulous beaches and restaurants close by, including Kassiopi, which has many great places to eat and is only 10 minutes away by car. If you want to chill, this is fine too as the villa has everything you could possibly need. It is quiet with many cool places to sit outside and read, as we like to do, a well equipped kitchen, a barbecue, table tennis and air conditioning throughout. We thoroughly recommend this villa, we will be back and if we could give it a 6 out of 5 we would 😎

We are two families who have always holidayed together since our children were very small. We first spent a holiday in north east Corfu in 2005, and were so impressed with the area that we found ourselves returning year-on-year.

In 2008 we eventually found a suitable plot on which to build our much-loved Koutsounada House. Even after so many years we still look forward to holidaying together in our joint home, and take great pleasure in seeing how the house and garden have developed and matured over time.
