Moderne og rummelig "Safir" er en to-etagers lejlighed, en af fire med en fælles pool, smukt vedligeholdte haver og pergola. Helt fantastisk udsigt over havet og bjergene, kun 10 minutters gang til Kalkan centrum. Direkte adgang til infinity-pool, privat grillplads og gårdhave nedenunder. Ovenpå balkon, der fører ud til begge soveværelser. Det er behageligt 10 minutters gang ned til det livlige Kalkan centrum.

We had the most wonderful holiday here in Kalkan, and highly recommend this property—one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed! We spent five nights here, with our two young children, and wished we would have stayed longer. We absolutely LOVED the views (spectacular! Right out of a postcard!) and the pool was a total hit with the kids. (My only note here is that the pool is quite deep.) We basically had the pool to ourselves, as no one else happened to be staying in the other apartments during our time. Susan was a fantastic host, super communicative and very helpful leading up to the trip. Can’t thank her enough for the hospitality. The home is in a perfect location—walking distance to the adorable town, we would walk down for dinner and take a very cheap taxi back (up the hill was steep for the little ones :)) Twice we ordered take out to eat at the home because the sunset views are just so stunning. We made the most wonderful memories as a family that we will cherish forever. We hope to return one day!

Fantastic location with beautiful views from every room. Conveniently located to explore the surrounding area with easy access to town and the dolmuş to Kekova, Kaş and Patara.

Fantastic property, very clean and comfortable. Check in easy. Pool and views were incredible!. Contact with host very easy. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Views to die for! Stunning!

What a beautiful apartment (as good as a villa!) the views are absolutely breathtaking! The only small downside to this is that it is on the top of a very steep high hill (most of Kalkan is though tbf!) but I even struggled to walk down this one to start with without holding onto someone & my legs feeling like jelly lol but that’s the price to pay for that view! after this hill it was an easy enough 10 min walk down to town (taxis back up are cheap enough!) The pool area and sunbeds/pergola were amazing so spacious & even though it’s shared between 4 apartments we literally had the whole thing to ourselves apart from last 2 days! The only 2 small problems we had:1. We needed to use the iron (for wedding outfits) unfortunately the iron was old, burnt & leaking and it took us a few hours to realise it had tripped the electric (not what we thought was one of the local power outages) so had not been able to get ready properly & v.hot until we twigged & tried the fuse box! Ooops! However on contacting the caretaker he promptly delivered a new iron the next day!2. As good as the showers were unfortunately with 5 people we couldn’t use both showers at the same time or when 2 people had them, the hot water then seemed to be non existent for the next so a few very cold showers were had (kids wouldn’t get in) 1 eve we only managed 1 person a warm shower! Beds/living areas, the kitchen were comfy/well equipped! We loved our stay & are hoping to return to explore more of KK!

This was a beautiful apartment in a great location - quiet but only a short walk into town with all its wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. The walk into town is all downhill (but quite steep - not unusual in Kalkan!) but taxis back are cheap and plentiful. However, the elevated position means that the views from the apartment are spectacular. A particular mention should go to the main shower... this is the best shower we have ever experienced in Kalkan, where the water pressure is usually a bit feeble. We particularly enjoyed eating our lunches on the terrace outside the apartment (and, if you are lucky, you might encounter one of the resident tortoises!). The property is one of four in a block all sharing the same small but very well-maintained pool, but we were the only residents using it after the first couple of days! Sue is a great host - very responsive and flexible, doing all she could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommended!

The apartment was all round amazing! Fantastic views, spotlessly clean, well kitted out and in a great location for Kalkan town. We will definitely return.

Beautiful apartment with stunning view

We had a wonderful week at the apartment in Kalkan. The apartment was very clean, airy and comfortable with plenty of space for us all. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The facilities were great and the owners gave us lots of useful tips about places to visit in the area. The apartment is a short walk from the centre of Kalkan where there are lots of restaurants to choose from and interesting shops to browse. We went on a trip to the Saklikent Gorge which is nearby and is worth a visit. I would definitely recommend the property to friends and would happily stay there again!

Fantastic holiday in the most amazing apartment

We have just returned from the most fantastic holiday, including 10 nights in Safir apartment - and four on a gulet cruise. We can't recommend the apartment highly enough, the views of the beautiful Kalkan bay are just out of this world. Watching the sunset over the mountains made it a very difficult decision to peel ourselves away and wander down to the delightful town, with its dozens of top-class restaurants. The pool and garden area is spotlessly maintained and we particularly loved the rocking chairs and hammock. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped. Sitting in bed with a cup of tea in the morning and just drinking in THAT view - well what more could you wish for!! We will definitely be back.

A gem of a location

What a gem of a location this is, in an apartment with everything you need for a memorable stay plus a lovely pool and views to die for. Lounge around the pool, lie under the awning, gaze at Mouse island away at the edge of the bay, watch the boats slipping in and out... perfect, lazy days. In the evenings stroll down the hill, come back by taxi after dining well in one of the many tip-top restaurants with prices to suit every pocket. Day trips are plentiful and cheap. Visits to beaches are just a taxi ride away. the weekly market under the huge canopy is astonishing. Kalkan is like a picturesque Cornish village except the temp is in the 70s and the sun is never-ending. Recommended.

Memorable.

A splendid apartment, comfortable and well equipped. The location at the top of the hill is stunning and the views are memorable. Fine to walk down the steep hill to get into town, and a taxi back up is cheap and easy. The fit will walk back up the hill with ease or do it slowly and sip champagne from your flask. The pool is big enough for a decent swim, the shaded patio area is provided with deep cushions and its far too easy to fall asleep there after a swim. We have never been there yet and found the four apartments full at the same time so there is plenty of room and the pool is uncrowded. And when others are there it is a perfect way to make new friends. There is adequate outdoor dining furniture but who wants to eat in when there are so many wonderful restaurants in town. Kalkan itself is a gem of a place, the harbour is delightful with opportunities for lazy day boating and harbourside breakfasts. Highly recommended. We have stayed there 5 times... that tells you all you need to know. In fact I am reluctant to speak so highly as this is a place you want to keep to yourself.

We are a family of five, who love to travel. We travelled widely before we had our family and have tried, mostly with great success, to continue this as our family has grown. We both work, Pete is a builder, I am a journalist. We are able to offer our lovely apartment up for rent when unable to use it ourselves.

We've travelled extensively with our family. We've been to Australia twice, New Zealand, South Africa, the States, and spent several whole summers touring Europe and Spain. Yet nothing prepared us for the WOW factor we experienced on our first trip to Kalkan, in the summer of 2009. We just fell in love with the place, with the town, with the scenery, with the people. Our daughters described it as "the best holiday they'd ever had" and we had to agree it suited us all. We decided to take the plunge and buy the apartment behind the one we were staying in. We have often considered buying somewhere in the sun, and we didn't need much convincing that this was the place for us. Despite lockdown we have had no regrets and have had very favourable reviews from all our clients

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

Unlike some properties in Kalkan, it is within easy reach of the village, a ten minute walk down - admittedly a bit longer on the way up because it is a steep hillside. However, the position, the tranquility and the spectacular views make it all worthwhile. And sitting around the pool or under the Ottoman style pergola makes venturing out a hard decision to make! We feel this is a property that will appeal to all. Our teenage daughters loved the lively atmosphere of the town; our son loves the pool, nearby beaches and beach clubs. And even my 80 year old parents, complete with mobility scooter, enjoyed several holidays with us, including many day trips.
