Foster Boat Works 1BR Condo remodel afsluttet vinter 2019

Thank you Nick for the 5-Star Review! We hope to see you next season. Sincerely, The Staff at Northern Michigan Escapes

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for rating your stay an 8/10 at Foster Boat Works 19. We’re so glad to hear that you enjoyed the condo’s great location right on the marina—a favorite feature among guests who love being close to the water, Charlevoix’s downtown shops, and Lake Charlevoix’s beautiful shoreline. The waterfront setting truly makes this Northern Michigan Escapes property special, offering easy access to boating, beaches, and local dining. We appreciate your comments regarding the refrigerator and freezer. Our maintenance team has already been notified to defrost and inspect the unit to ensure it’s functioning at full capacity for future guests. Your feedback helps us keep every property in top condition and maintain the high standards of comfort and convenience that Northern Michigan Escapes is known for. We’re delighted that you found the condo itself to be clean, comfortable, and well-suited for your stay. Foster Boat Works continues to be one of Charlevoix’s most desirable vacation rental locations, combining scenic marina views with proximity to downtown attractions. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another relaxing Northern Michigan getaway soon.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We're thrilled to hear that you had a great experience with the rental manager and found the condo comfortable and well-equipped. The views of Charlevoix Lake and those beautiful sunrises are truly special, and we're glad you enjoyed them. It's wonderful that the location's proximity to downtown added to the convenience of your stay. We would love to welcome you back again soon!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your stay started with the bed appearing slept in and hairs in the bathroom. That is not acceptable, and the unit should have been fully cleaned and inspected before your arrival. We also apologize for the confusion regarding the listed amenities. If central air and smart TVs were included in the description, we understand how disappointing and frustrating it would be to arrive and find that they were not available as expected. We’ll review the listing details to make sure they are accurate and clear for future guests. We’re sorry as well that the parking pass was not waiting for you and that you had to track one down. That should have been handled before check-in. Most importantly, we regret that after you contacted the property management company, you did not feel anything was done to address your concerns. Guest issues should be acknowledged and followed up on in a timely and helpful way, and we’re sorry that was not your experience. Thank you again for bringing these concerns to our attention. Your feedback will be shared with housekeeping, maintenance, management, and the listing team so these issues can be reviewed and corrected.

Hi Barbara, Thank you for the review. We certainly try our best in making our accommodations for our guests the best they possibly can. Evan, Just as we apologized profusely for at the time, and in our subsequent conversations, we again sincerely apologize that the key was not left in the access box. We 100% made a human error and regret the inconvenience it caused you terribly. It is clear though, that this frustration was allowed to impact many aspects of your stay as reviewed, that as referenced above are in no way characteristic of other reviews for this home or these properties. We wish you the best of luck on future vacations and again apologize for our mistake with your key - but are happy that we were able to resolve that matter within an hour. -The Northern Michigan Escapes Team

Thank you Robert for sending us your feedback. We are so sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We reviewed our amenities and we do not have a dishwasher as an amenity provided. However, we will certainly forward your comments and suggestions to the home owners. Sincerely, The Staff at Northern Michigan Escapes

Thanks for the great review Kevin. The marina view at Foster Boat Works is second to none. Perfect balcony to enjoy coffee and pastries in the morning or a drink and snacks in the evenings and enjoy the cool lake breezes. The owners did a great job remodeling the bathroom making it a great place to enjoy all that Charlevoix has to offer. Terri and the entire staff at Northern Michigan Escapes
