Update: Entire exterior of development has now been renovated in a very smart white and grey. We havel also renovated the inside with new bathromms, kitchens, flooring and the outside is now as good as the interior. We also really appreciated your understanding regarding the temporary coastal path works. Unfortunately, these were completely outside our control, but the works have now been completed. We're pleased the partial refund helped to make up for the inconvenience. Just to clarify a couple of points for future guests: while the apartment backs onto Carrefour, it is not actually in the car park itself. From inside the apartment and on the balcony, this isn't noticeable at all, as many previous guests have commented, with the stunning sea views naturally being the main focus. The convenience of having Carrefour so close is an added bonus. Also, the beginning of Estepona's beautiful Old Town at Plaza Ortiz, with its wonderful selection of restaurants and tapas bars, is only around an easy 7-minute walk away. The heart of the Old Town around Plaza Flores is approximately another 7 minutes on foot, with a tremendous choice of restaurants and cafés all along the way. There are also several excellent beach restaurants just a few minutes' walk from the apartment along the promenade. Thank you again for staying with us. We're very sorry to hear that your experience was affected by renovation works from the neighbouring unit of which we were unaware. We completely understand how disruptive this can be, and we regret any inconvenience it caused during your stay. Please know that this was outside of our control, short-term , now completed and not at all reflective of the usual environment at our property as evidenced by all the other 5 star reviews including the stay just after yours.
