Such a welcoming place to stay, equipped with everything you need for short stays or longer stays, amazing location on the beach near lovely towns with wonderful walks. Had a couple of sunny days and a few windy and rainy ones but whether you are inside looking through the French windows or on the sand it’s equally charming

Beautiful location

Cosy coastal hideaway. The facilities were good, plenty of room to relax and enjoy the sea view.

Fabulous location

We had wind and rain almost all week and yet we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Being able to look out directly over the beach was fantastic and it was well equipped for all kinds of weather.

Great stay

Was a wonderful stay right on the beach. Precious moments having camber sands all to ourselves. Louise was a very professional generous host. It was well kitted out and we had everything we needed for a lovely family stay.

AWESOME VIEW

The sunrooms were amazing fantastic view of the beautiful beach. Property was well kitted out, very comfortable and a really good location. It was a good property for my 89 year old mother as she was able to sleep downstairs. The Owl was excellent.

Another wonderful weekend on the beach!

This was our second visit and it was as great as the first. The house is in an amazing location right on the beach. The house itself is perfect for a family with two children. Our favourite room is the sun room overlooking the beach.

Lovely cottage and amazing location

Lovely relaxing week in an amazing location. Some beautiful weather spent sitting outside in the sunshine. But we even enjoyed the rainy day as we had a prime view of the changing weather from the sunroom. I'm sure we will be back!

Home from Home

Perfectly placed on the beach with beautiful sunrises and sunsets to watch and Amazing walks. This is a cozy, clean, welcoming home, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing fun time. pubs and essential shops nearby and more in Rye 20 minutes away, loved it so much we have already booked for next year , Thank you for letting us share your home Louis & Louise

Comfortable property with fab views. Perfect for our 3 generation break

A warm and welcoming property, appropriately furnished for a seaside break. Everything we needed from binoculars to 4 sizes of frying pans. Good quality bedding and a seating area outside with just one step on to sand. Camber Sands beach has to been seen. The view changes constantly with the tides, wind and sun.

Camber Sands half term fun

Lovely half term break in an amazing location. Whilst the weather was mixed, the hosts provided lots of games and books to keep us occupied! They’ve thought of everything. Thank you! Will certainly return!

Wonderful

Lovely well equipped cottage in perfect location Stayed here with the dog to escape building work at home Friends visited a couple of days and were very jealous I was there for a week Spent a lot of time watching the world go by in the sun room (my favourite room) during the day Cosy evenings eating and watching TV Loved every minute even the night storm Ciarán rolled in ! Roxy had the best time enjoying long walks on the beach Didn’t use the car all week Communication with hosts was brilliant and information sent before arrival was excellent Looking forward to coming back

Great location

Great location right on the beach as described. We went a bit out of season so some stuff around wasnt open, but it also meant the beach wasnt busy either. The property is just what you need for that type of holiday. The condition of stuff is alright, not sparkling new. The shower is a bit naff, a nice shower is sort of needed after sandy days. There is a bit of mould downstairs, but it is right be the sea, so not sure how you avoid that tbh. The walls to neighbours are thin so noisy neighbours can be an issue. Overall a good place to stay, great location, adquate facilities around and in the property.

We are aware the shower pressure has dropped recently and have arranged to have a megaflow cylinder and a new shower installed at the end of this month, which should increase the pressure.. We apologise that thee was mould on the seaward wall and appreciate you pointing this out to us. It was very wet the week before. and our housekeepers treated a small amount of mould with a domestic product rather than a professional product prior to your arrival, as it was a same day changeover and they were concerned the smell of the stronger product would linger. We have agreed with our housekeepers that any future recurrence will be treated with a professional product and the cottage thoroughly ventilated. We have a continuing program of maintenance and really value and appreciate feedback from our guests. With best wishes Louise.and Louis

Lowry painting

This is a terrific holiday home. Right on the sands. Looking out of the front windows was a treat. Over the Christmas period hundreds of visitors with more dogs than you see at Crufts walked the massive beach, because of the light they looked like a scene from a Lowry painting. Our dog loved it too. House is very well equipped. Only problem we had was a massive puddle outside (it rained!) Meant we had to build a bridge to get to the carpark area but clearly not the fault of our hosts. Thoroughly recommend this home

Just perfect for children!

Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We were so impressed with how well supplied the cottage was - from kitchen utensils to extra bedding and towes to the range of toys and games for the children (the Angry Birds game was a hit with my boys)! For any families with children this place is ideal! Opening out directly onto the sand my boys had the time of their lives! The thing I always hated about beach trips with children was finding a parking spot, lugging 3 bags of necessities half a mile from the car, deliberating on whether to face a sandy picnic or pay extortionate prices for beach food and finally braving the public toilets! With this amazing cottage we had none of that as we had everything we needed at hand and enjoyed leisurely lunches on the patio whilst watching other beach-goers crunching sandy sandwiches! Waking up to that sea view every morning was something else! We can't wait to come back! But my boys will be asking for more of that fudge cake you left in the welcome hamper. Special touches like that are what made our experience so fantastic! Thank you again!
