Perfect Stay

Perfect 2 night stay in Athens! Studio apartment was clean, well-equipped and convenient to shops and public transportation. The location was quiet, even with the windows open at night, and had a lovely little balcony for morning breakfast/coffee. The information provided by the property manager was accurate and very helpful in planning our time in Athens.

Nice apartment with balcony

The apartment was nice and clean, we have wonderful week on november 2009. Location was safe and good because it was quite near metro station. Emmanouil was very helpful and kind, so we can recommend the apartment.

Honest and nice

Good location. Near public transport, supermarket, bakery, and easy acess to the airport and tourist attractions. The apartment is clean, well lit and equipped, has an elevator, a balcony and air conditioners in every room. The owner is very accommodating and willing the help with directions and tips. Would stay there again.

Best part of our stay

By far, the best part of our stay was our host, Manos. Yes, the Acropolis, Panathenaic Stadium, National Gardens and other tourist sites took our breath away and were amazing experiences, but Manos was friendly, classy, helpful and provided the warmth that we came to know as truly reflective of the people of Athens. I visited from Toronto with my adult daughter. For 2 and a half days after we landed in Athens, her one piece of checked luggage did not arrive. She did not bring any carry on. Manos completely immersed himself in the issue. He even drove me in vain, to the airport on NIGHT, 50 mins each way, to get the luggage when we thought it had arrived. It eventually came on the 3rd day and Manos accepted delivery on our behalf as we were out at the time. Everywhere we visited during our 7 day stay was recommended by Manos. We were never disappointed. Finding places on our own was easy as, he provided maps and other key information to get to our destination. We rented a studio apartment. It was very clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The queen bed was great. The pull-out couch was a bit rustic, but comfortable as well. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. Television provided a good variety of english channels (I was able to watch the NBA playoffs), including news and movies. The wifi was always strong and efficient. We have no complaints about the apartment. Some 20 meters from the apartment is a corner bakery which opens at 6:00 am and closes at 11:00 pm on weekdays. It's also open on weekends. It offers fresh bread and pastries daily. My opinion is that they sell the best baklava anywhere in all of Athens. Their prices are reasonable and service is amazing. Across the street from the apartment is a grill which serves local Greek fare which is tasty and affordable. The cook, Bill, greeted us everytime with a warm smile and friendly composition. He speaks english well and is quite helpful. Both of these places were referred to us by Manos, and his recommendation was on point. There rally isn't any interaction we had with Manos that wasn't positive. I hope to visit Athens again but with my wife. When this happens, I look forward to introducing her to him as my new friend, who will no doubt also be our host. THANK YOU, Manos!

Very nice flat close to City Center

Had an excellent stay - Manos was very accommodating. Small terrace open to gardens in the back - easy location just a few minutes walking to the Metro. Very clean - I would recommend this property to anyone and would welcome the opportunity to stay there again.

Cosy and home-like place

Very cute apartment, clean and we had all we need. Great place. There is nice balcony that looks at a garden inside the courtyard and not at the road. Quiet little place. Perfect for getting a rest after tourists adventures.

Budget conveneince

My four stars does not mean luxury. If you want luxury pay $300-600 a night for an Athens center city hotel. This place is not for you But, if you want a very clean, basic, convenient, comfortable place then consider Manos' apartments. I stayed in the studio as a single, but two people would have been just as comfortable. No five stars because there is some noise from nearby apartments but by bedtime all was quiet. The metro - out the door, turn left to the signal, right to the next signal, left to the park where you will find the metro entrance. Should you have walking problems, the elevator down is nearby. On the way back, the grocery is just across the street from the park. Just out of the apartment, at the signal is a good bakery where you can get hot pies and fresh breads. On warm days there is a small balcony. Manager is very responsive to emails and will help with a full discription of all that you need to know about using the apartment.

Lovely apartment in nice area near subway

Really enjoyed our stay. Excellent price, clean and comfy stay. Apartment not massive but when you are out all day you don't need anything big. We were met when we arrived and the owner was very friendly. It feels like a nice area and it is less than 10 minutes to the subway station and then you are straight into Athens. Would thoroughly recommend to friends!

Absolutely great

The apartment was great, clean and it was including all the necessary amenities for our convenience ( as your house would). The area and and apartment are located at a safe area. Subway is really close, more than 3 banks are located very close to the apartment are around the area, mini markets and super markets are close at a walking distance of 3 minutes. I was pleased ,and I would definitely suggest the apartment to friends/family, and I will definitely visit again.

an adorable apartment.

The neighborhood where the apartment is located is beautiful, full of bars and shops and close to public transportation (subway) The building is quiet. and the street where it is located is quiet The apartment is exactly as it is described and the pictures are true. Seems to have been recently renovated : the appliances are all new and functioning and all the furniture is in excellent condition. In addition, once a week the cleaning lady will come to wash and change linens, as in the hotel. The strength of the house is the balcony with a small table and two chairs , which overlooks a peaceful interior garden - cortil . The connection (wifi) to intertet is fast. The owner is correct, courteous and helpful ( before, during and after your stay). It will give you advice and will make sure to fulfill your requests or questions about the city of Athens. Also in the apartment you will find city guides and leaflets . Recommended for a couple or a small family (parents and young child) . I would stay here again on vacation there!

All you need

Although our stay at Athens wasn’t for holiday, we had a nice stay at the apartment. We had there everything that we actually use at home in a very good quality. The location is near various public transport means. All-around the place you can find whatever you wish for food: bakery, fastfood and of course various supermarket that you can shop your needs. It is highly recommended for family with baby or for a long stay, it is really your home away.

This is definitley one of the best stay in Athens- such a wonderful apartment, with very comfortable, clean and modern amenities. All appliences in the apartment modern and new and very usable. Clean kitchen, comfortable beds, brand new linens, very updated bathroom. Manos is very nice, and willing to help with everything! He was very helpful in guiding and explaining (even with sending important documents to USA through Fedex!). Definitley a great option for staying in Athens! Lovable Experience 1

Bei diesem Angebot ist die Relation zwischen Preis und Leistung angemessen. Sie finden eine gepflegte, saubere Wohnung vor. Ideal geeignet für eine Person, eventuell auch für zwei Personen. Es ist eine ruhige Wohnung, die von der Straße abgewendet ist und den Blick auf einen schönen Garten im Innenhof der Anlage erlaubt. Die Lage in der Stadt Athen ist ausgezeichnet. Metro und Busse stehen in naher Umgebung zur Verfügung. Nach vier/fünf Metrostationen ist man direkt in der City. Sie finden einen sehr freundlichen Vermieter vor, der sie mit vielfältigen Informationen schon vor der Anreise und später vor Ort versorgt. Eine wirklich sich lohnende Möglichkeit in Athen zu wohnen.

Studio #1

The studio room matched the pictures on the web site very well. The front door of the building was close to the apartment and there was buzzing and slamming of doors. When I mentioned that it was a bit loud, Manos moved me to an upgraded empty 1 bedroom on a quieter street.

A Great Stay

My husband and I rented this apartment for our trip to Greece in October 2010, it was our first visit to the country and of course to Athens. The apartment was perfect for us, it was fully equipped, clean and tidy, the owners could not have been more helpful. It was off a busy main street but was very quiet overlooking a peaceful & tree filled courtyard. It was located close to good shops and the metro so there was easy access to the city. We were very happy with the apartment for our week in Athens and would certainly recommend it as a place to base yourself for a visit. Our experience has certainly made use determined to go back again!

Small but comfortable

The studio is well situated in a quiet and seemingly safe area with good transport links. The nearby shops and supermarkets provide all your necessities - especially good cakes and pastries- and there are good bars and places to eat. The landlord was very welcoming but unobtrusive. You could if you wished phone or email him any time and get a quick helpful response in good English. The studio was clean and with every amenity shown in the photographs, plus a pleasant balcony with a table and chairs (and cats). It was a thoughtful touch to have DVDs to watch and books to borrow. We stayed when the weather was very cold but the room was warm and there was ample and very hot water. The building was generally quiet but you were very aware of plumbing noises and people using the lift or stairs. We enjoyed our stay and can see why it is a very popular choice to stay in.
