Fremragende lejlighed på øverste etage i en af de smukkeste gader i Nice, den smukke træforede rue Alphonse Karr. Denne ejendom på sjette sal i en Art Deco-bygning (med elevator) er perfekt beliggende i hjertet af Carre d’Or. Med et dobbelt aspekt har lejligheden en åben udsigt til øst og syd og sikrer solskin fra solopgang over Mount Boron til sent på eftermiddagen. En balkon løber længden af lejligheden og er tilgængelig fra alle værelser via 4 franske døre. Der er dejlig udsigt over hustagene i Nice til bakkerne og bjergene derudover og ned i den smarte boutiqueforede gade nedenfor: det perfekte sted til kaffe og croissanter om morgenen eller et glas lokal rosevin om eftermiddagen. Ejendommen blev totalrenoveret (2011) for at omfatte et italiensk køkken, luksuriøst badeværelse og parketgulve og italiensk gulvfliser overalt. Alle apparater, fittings og møbler er af høj kvalitet, moderne og stilfuld.

We loved this cute apartment! The location was perfect for walking to the beach, old town, and to the opera. The area was very quiet and we enjoyed the balcony. The building is well maintained, and a real plus to have the elevator since the apartment is on the sixth floor. The apartment had everything we needed, and we were grateful for the washer/dryer. Thank you for hosting us!

It was a very convent home base to visit the Nice area. Had to adjust dates because of possible Air Craft control strike and owner was very kind and flexible and quickly refunded the dates that I rescheduled.

Great location

The apartment was close to the water and lots of restaurants in Nice. It was very clean and the balcony was a nice spot to hangout.

The elevator was not operating during our stay. Dragging our bags up 6 floors was a big ask for a near 80 year old. No response has been received as at this writing from the owner for compensation for the severe inconvenience.

Nice apartment with perfect location

Cozy, small apartment in a good location. Central, but still a quiet street. Near to Place Masséna, the old town, the beach, good restaurants and luxury shops.

Good Apartment in a Great Location

The apartment was very comfortable during our stay for me, my wife and daughter. It is in a great location right in the heart of the city. It is surrounded by many restaurants and stores. Also, it is only a short walk to the beach and train station. We would definitely like to stay here again if we return to Nice.

Great Place

We were so happy with everything about the apartment and location. Love the windows on two 2 sides, on the top floor, view of rooftops and sunny streets below. Centrally located. So attractive everywhere.

Great Location

Quiet apartment on top floor. Nice view, and really close to Old town,Train Station, Patisserie (Right across the street), supermarket(1/2 block away). Mehran, checked us in early, and did a walk thru. He even installed a portable A/C. Great spot!

Beautiful rental in a great location

This was a great place to stay for my week long trip to Nice. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station and 5-10 minute walk from the waterfront, so the location was perfect for both exploring Nice and doing day trips nearby. So many nearby shops, restaurants, and things to do, all walkable. The apartment had everything you could need - full kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom. The balcony was lovely and the area nearby was safe and pretty quiet at night. The host was very friendly and helpful, and very responsive to messages. Highly recommend this rental and would love to come back some day.

Carnaval 2025

This was our second time staying in this apartment for Carnaval. The location is perfect for the Carnaval events as well as for exploring Nice and the surrounding area. The building is clean and quiet and the apartment is well equipped. Mehran was very accommodating and attentive. My friend and I plan on making this our annual trip together, and certainly will continue to stay here.

Une belle vacance en Nice

This is a lovely snug apartment in the Carre d’Or in Nice. Everything you need from pots and pans to comfy beds and a breakfast balcony! The location is superb being a short walk to Place Massena, the Promenade, Vielle Ville and train station. The neighbourhood is full of lovely shops as well as a sinfully good patisserie just across the street. Mehran was always available and responded quickly to any text. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Perfect neighborhood!

Wow! This apartment had it all! It was in the best location (1 block from a subway, 5 blocks from the regional train, 2 blocks from a HUGE restaurant strip). It also had a great balcony with views of the city and surrounding hills. The beach was a 10 minute walk away. My host contacted me via whatsapp, so its good if you have that app. I would definitely stay here again!

The space was good. Location also good. There was an issue with the shower draining and that was not so good. Some days it would drain fine but others it would flood the bathroom. The property manager was responsive in our concerns about it but it did not get resolved in our stay due to the inconsistency of it. Overall the place was good and the patio was great for morning coffee and evening wine.

Apartment was good for two days but any longer wasn't suitable for more than two people. Disappointed with linen provided no duvet available for sofa bed so had to use just a cover. Kitchen facilities good.

We do provide a double duvet for the sofa bed and I am sorry you were unable to find it - I will pass this information on to our agent so that she can show future guests - our agent is always available to help if there are any additional requirements or problems to be solved. The apartment is small, but it is well planned to make maximum use of the available space. The photographs in the listing give a clear indication of the space available and the floor area is also provided in the details. I would agree that potential guests should consider the space available if staying for a longer period of time - your stay was for 2 nights. We have accommodated many groups of 3 or 4 who have been very happy with the apartment. Thanks again for your review. Graeme

Côte d’Azur delight

What a wonderful apartment from which to explore Nice and other beautiful places along the Côte d’Azur. Being so central meant we only needed the excellent public transport for our coastal outings. We enjoyed walking through the elegant and lively streets, the sea, sun and lots of gastronomic delights. Great galleries, churches and shops for the occasional rainy intervals. Nice has lots of good cafés to enjoy people watching too. The apartment was very comfortable and we’d been left lots of ideas to help us plan our days and dinners. Many thanks.

Perfect location

The apartment is perfectly located, just a few minutes from the tram and buses and a 10 min. walk to the boulevard des Anglais. It is in walking distance to the old town and to most of the sites. Bakeries and grocery stores and many restaurants are also nearby and a 15. min. walk takes you to the train station. The apartment has a modern kitchen with all appliances and plenty of dishes. We were disappointed that because of two large portable air conditioners two of the doors to the balcony could neither be completely closed nor opened. All in all, we recommend this apartment.

Place is tired

The couch is uncomfortable. The floor is lifting by the windows where rain damage has caused the wood to lift. The place needs a deep and thorough cleaning. The washer dryer combo never really dries anything, especially the bath towels. The stove only has one burner but it works fast! The location is fantastic and it is quiet at night. We loved how close all the transportation hubs were to the apartment. The restaurant across the street has great takeout.

When we moved into this apartment, the stove didn't work, there were also ants crawling on the floor, there weren't enough toiletries, shampoo, shower gel.

A few little things were annoying. (1) Only 2 toilet rolls for 3 people for 4 nights so we had to request more (2) there were no garbage bags (3) no instructions for the washing machine so had to waste time on Google to find some. (4) No instructions for oven and microwave (5) didn't discover the drying rack on balcony until day 3 of our stay. Would have been better to be told on arrival. (6) Noisy Aircon. Maybe the owners should prepare a welcome pack with all these things in.

Excellent accommodation in the heart of Nice. The apartment is perfectly located between the train station and the beach, both just a 10-minute walk away. The tram is only 3 minutes away, the next supermarket as well. A bakery is right on the corner and other good coffee spots are also only 1-2 minutes away. Despite the central location, it is extremely quiet. The amenities are great, both in terms of the pleasant decor and the equipment, especially in the kitchen. We had everything we needed and were particularly happy to have a washing machine. There is even a dishwasher. It was very hot while we were there, but with the air conditioning, we were able to regulate the temperature for a comfortable night's sleep. The check-in by Mehran and the communication with him were seamless; he welcomed us in person and showed us around. He responded to any questions within a very short time. We highly recommend this apartment and would love to come back.

Efficiently organized penthouse level unit in the chic ‘Carré d’or’ (Gold Coast) neighborhood with gorgeous views and sea breezes from wrap around tall windows which open fully to a step-out terrace…it felt vey exclusive and the building is modern and safe. Walk to the sea shore, upscale shops and boutiques, grocery stores, restaurants, and local tram line. Perfect for the two of us. Great black out curtains when you need to sleep… since The French Riviera offers so much sunshine!Easy to cook in kitchen, nice size modern bathroom with lots of shelf space and big shower with modern fixtures… quality appliances throughout: induction cooktop, a fabulous convection oven, small dishwasher, half-size fridge, and combo washer/dryer for clothes (set it to 3, 40C, cabinet dry if you’re not familiar with this 2-in-1 machine). Dining table and chairs and very comfortable living room with TV (includes box for streaming services, easy to use).Owner and manager are very responsive and friendly. It felt like home.

My wife and I live and work in Edinburgh, Scotland. For many years we have taken our holidays in Nice, so it was the obvious place to buy our own holiday apartment.

When searching for an apartment to buy, our priorities were, central location, ease of access from the airport, top floor level (with lift) and outside space with lots of sunshine.

This apartment perfectly meets all those criteria.

This is our holiday apartment, designed with us in mind, and it meets our needs perfectly - we hope you will enjoy staying there as much as we do.

Nice is a wonderful city - there is something for everyone to do or see, and the weather is fantastic whatever time of year you choose to visit.

The property was completely refurbished in 2011. We have sought to make the most of the space available in a simple, relaxed, practical, modern yet stylish way. All materials and fittings are of high quality giving a little bit of the good life in the French Riviera - we could all do with a bit of that from time to time.
