Beliggende på 5. sal ved stranden 2 soveværelser / 2 badeværelser i Beach House-komplekset.
Lejligheden har alt hvad du har brug for, fuldt udstyret køkken, to tv'er, højhastighedsinternet, to puljer og lige ved stranden. Beach House er et lille, roligt kompleks med alle de faciliteter, du har brug for for at have en dejlig ferie eller vinterhjem. South Padre Island er hjemsted for smukke hvide sandstrande, fiskeri i verdensklasse, fornemme restauranter og Schlitterbahn vandland ligger i nærheden.

Fantastic view, great pool and access to the beach. The host was wonderful. Lots of great space with open concept kitchen. The bed was very uncomfortable and the condo could use some paint and overall TLC.

Great Location

The home was decent, but you could tell it was starting to get worn down somewhat. The master bedroom shower ceiling was rusted and the bed had 2 x 4’s holding up one corner of the bed. There also need to be more living room furniture (larger sofa-s) to accommodate 6 people. The current ones are small. A sectional type sofa would work well. Overall, not a bad place.

Great Quiet Location

For spring break week this was a super quiet property with lots of younger families around. Traveling with teens it was a great fit. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Condo was clean. There was a bit of a musky smell when we arrived, assume because the AC hadn't been running. Bought air freshener and it was fine. The AC was finicky as other guests had mentioned. We made it work and fans were provided in both bedrooms. The TV's required an ad free subscription to use Netflix and Prime was the only other option. Also bought a roku so the kids could use all our existing accounts. Overall a good stay and priced appropriately.

Cozy stay

It’s a beautiful, cozy condo with a lovely, modern kitchen and comfortable beds/pillows/comforters. The view is amazing. It was a bit warm and we could not adjust the AC to a lower temp than 72.

Everything was so nice . We would stay again for sure . The view was the best . Clean and convenient to the beach . Handicap access to the beach on side of building was a plus . Highly recommend

A wonderful family vacation!!

We had the best time on our family vacation! This property has a great location and easy access to the beach! We had plenty of room as a family of 5. Our kids had one room and we had the other, same with the bathrooms. We loved coming in from the beach and hopping in the pool. We cooked dinners every night and the kitchen had all we needed. Plenty of space in the pantry and fridge. The washer and dryer were definitely a plus. We came home and no laundry needed to be done! The dining table was perfect for meals and family game nights. The patio had an amazing view and we enjoyed having coffee out there every morning. We were super close to everything we did while in South Padre. This is a gated community so we felt super safe and secure. Also we never heard any neighbors making noise which was nice. We had such a great time, we are already looking at our calendars to see when we can come back!

Conveniently cozy

My stay at Beach House Gateaway was wonderful! From the moment my family and I arrived, we were amazed by the beautiful view and cozy atmosphere. The property itself was well equipped with all of the necessary essentials from a coffee maker to laundry detergent . This made staying here very comfy and convenient. I must point out that the best part of staying here was the location. It was a simple walk down to the shore where my family and I enjoyed the day and a simple walk back for our little ones to take their afternoon naps. Honestly, we are looking forward to the next time we stay here. The host and management were very helpful and accommodating. This place exceeded all expectations.

BEST Night’s sleep in comfy beds! Beautiful views of ocean to boot!

We stayed at Cecilia’s place and checked in after a day on the sand. Other than the numbers being mixed up to access the property we really enjoyed our stay The place was clean and the beds were super comfortable with fresh smelling linens. I’m am giving 5 stars mainly Because the beds were soo comfy! The property grounds are well maintained and the pools and jacuzzi were clean and free of debris. We look forward to booking the condo again soon.

Review

Overall the condo was very nice - everything worked, nicely decorated, etc. However, the pillows, sheets, and mattress covers were dirty, had hair on them, and smelled bad. Therefore, we could not be used and need to be replaced. There was urine smell on the beds. We discovered this at 10 PM and couldn't get it fixed. We used linens from another unit we were renting from the same owner (which was in great shape). If they get this issue fixed, it would be a five star condo like other places we've stayed in the past.

Staff/owner extremely nice and helpful

Only real complaint was our condo was double booked. We had to move units, after a couple of days. It was very unfortunate, but the owner and staff did everything in their power to take care of us, help facilitate mover, etc. All in all, highly recommend.

Wonderful Memories of Spring Break 2022

My husband and I and our grandkids stayed at this VRBO. We had a wonderful time. The location by the beach was awesome and the kids loved walking the short distance to the beach and using the boogie boards. It was very clean, spacious, and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck every morning drinking coffee. Our week went by too fast! And we do plan on coming back!!!

Great beach view!

Loved the sound of the waves crashing on the beach from the condo. The beach wasn’t busy so we had fun sunning and walking with solitude. The only problem we had was carrying our lawn chairs to the beach as it was a little farther than we thought. A cart would have been very much appreciated! We are in our golden years so knee and hip pain played a factor. The condo was very nice. Big bedrooms, kitchen, dining area and living room were great. The area and island are fantastic! The pools and hot tub did not disappoint.

Worth It!

The pictures were true to property. The balcony was probably the best thing about the condo. The view is amazing from sunrise to sunset. Elevator was working (thank goodness) since our room was on the 5th floor it was super convenient. Was easy to get parking permit from property manager. The only thing I will say since we do live in Texas and the heat is brutal even though the AC worked the room were still pretty hot during the night. Other than that I would definitely recommend this location and would stay there again.

Exactly what we needed!

It was great, perfect for everyone in our family, right off the beach, pool was warm, the beach chairs and toys are so convenient! Would definitely stay again.

Rocky beginning

On arrival to the condo we found out we were on the 5th floor and the elevator didn’t work. This was not mentioned in the listing , which we found out had not been working since Feb, had I known I wouldn’t of booked this condo because my Mom and Aunt could not go up and down 5 floors. So I did call our contact person who got a hold of Cecilia who then came down and spoke with us. She did offer to give up her condo the next day and she would move into the one I had originally booked. It was worth the inconvenience even though we had to get a hotel room for that night. Her condo was beautiful. The view of ocean was great from balcony , living room and bedroom. She was a gracious host and I would love to book from her again.

Very Nice Location

Great location, very clean and well taken care of property. Check in process was easy. We will certainly try and stay here again. Only issue we had was the front door auto lock was a bit tricky and had to double check to make sure it locked. Everything else was great. Only wish we could have checked out a bit later to enjoy the property a bit longer.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

This was absolutely our worst experience with a VRBO rental! We booked this location because we wanted a washer/dryer while on the beach. We were contacted within a few hours of arrival (after being on the road for 16+ hours already) that the washer was broken. We thought it would be fixed quickly and were wrong! We had only packed minimal clothing thinking we'd have access to the washer/dryer. When we voiced our displeasure and asked for compensation, the owner, Celcilia, proceeded to play games with us telling us we could either move out immediately or she would refund us "up to $50 in coins." Moving out immediately for a family of 5 during spring break was close to impossible (and she knew that.) So, during our vacation we packed up our laundry and headed to the laundromat in town. AFTER THE FACT, she decides to tell us that we need a receipt for doing our laundry ($28) at the laundromat. Absolutely ridiculous! A laudromat is unmanned and you have to get quarters from a machine. There is NO RECEIPT available. She didn't care. She refused to pay for anything, saying she was losing money! THEN, when she was able to schedule a technician for the washer she wanted us to stay at the unit, during our vacation, to let him in and wait for him to fix her washer. Who does that?? I would not trust this owner at all. Who knows if the washer was ever working!! To top it off the all of the beds are super hard and uncomfortable, the showers are dirty, the towels have stains on them, the entire unit needs painted, and there really is no comfortable furtniture in it at all for relaxing. The ceiling have stains streaked across them and fixtures are broken. It definitely does not match the posted pictures. The only good part is the view from the balcony. I would steer clear of this rental and the owner and find something better!!

Amazing views

Overall, had a great stay. Views were great, Great little restaurant down the street Palms resort. Excellent food. (Block away) condo was furnished pleasantly. Washer was broken but they notified me a couple days before my stay, which was nice. Had beach towels, etc. I had some trouble with my flight and rental car which totally frustrated me and I ended up coming in late. I was so frustrated I couldn’t even find my email with the info. I called the owner late and he text me the info. Owner is super awesome to work with and answers questions quickly!! Nice hot tub, 2 pools. Beach right out front!! Definitely would recommend!

Quiet, nice pool, great access to the beach

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It's older but redone. Great access and view of the beach. The pools and hot tub were nice and clean.

Excellent host & property!

Cecilia's SPI condo was an incredible getaway. The check in process was simple and Cecilia was flexible and accommodating. The balcony was our favorite spot, besides the beach itself. It was a nice, clean condo and it felt like we were the only ones in the whole building. We will definitely be back!
