Beautiful, cozy apartment located just a few minutes away from El Born and Arc del Triomf. Modernist, beautiful building, fully equipped. GREAT!THE SPACE:This 75 m2 comfortable and charming apartment is located in Passeig Sant Joan, one of the best areas of the city, close to El Born area. BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:The apartment has a capacity for up to 6 people distributed in 3 bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: 2 Single beds

Bedroom 2: 2 Single beds (convertible into double bed)

Bedroom 3: 1 Double bed

*Please let me know before your arrival if you need a special bed distribution, as sometimes the beds are already converted into double bed*

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:The Passeig de Sant Joan connects the neighbourhood of Gràcia with the Arc del Triomf right by the Born district. It doesn't just link two of the city's coolest neighbourhoods, it has recently become the go-to place for Barcelona locals and visitors. The stretch between Carrer València and Carrer Casp and the surrounding area has been newly laid out making it ideal for cyclists and pedestrians. It has become a hotspot with interesting bars and restaurants, delightful shops and places that will simply amaze you.

The bathroom is tiny, as is the couch. Otherwise, the apartment was comfortable.

The host was welcoming and very communicative. Overall the stay was great however, these few things brought the rating down:-restroom, very small. -restroom had mold at the baseboards in the bathroom. —living room. Couldn’t sit on the couch without the whole futon rolling out to a bed.-sewage/fruit flies. In the bathroom and kitchen. Lots of good things to note:-four beds, plus sofa couch. -great location.-overall quite in the neighborhood and apartment. -all appliances worked well. -safe neighborhood. -Easy check in process.-great host.

Perfect central location

This was a perfect, central location for touring Barcelona. Even though it felt like it was in the heart of the city, it was quiet. The beds were comfortable and it was well stocked.

Barcelona Apartment

Excellent location, and very clean. The only drawback were the stairs, which was a bit difficult with our luggage, as the apartment is on the third floor. But the owner was very fair and give us a discount for the non working elevator which was being repaired during our stay. Otherwise a very positive experience.

Consider updating photos for a more accurate review

Pros: easy check-in process, great location that put us within 15-20 min walk to many sites and restaurants, air conditioning was excellent!! City noise was not an issue. Cons: We were disappointed as soon as we walked through the door. There is a lot of construction on the ground floor, with trash and debris around. We were told ahead of time about possible construction noise, but no one was ever there doing work as far as we could tell. We were bothered more by neighbor noise (loud music and barking dogs early in AM). The stairs were hazardous, and you have to climb several floors with your luggage and no hand railing (it’s loose and broken from the construction). This was tough even though we just had one backpack and one small carry on suitcase. Once inside, we did not find the cleanliness to be up to standard. The walls are extremely dirty, not white like in the pictures. It just needs paint or for someone to wipe them, but this place looks neglected. Floors were a bit dirty. 2 of the 3 bedrooms had stained sheets and blankets. The pillows we were given were as thin as napkins, not what is pictured. The couch in the living room was musty and damp and did not look like pictures. This was not a place to get rest or have privacy especially is you are traveling with others. Two of the bedrooms share a glass wall, so if the light is on in one room you are keeping up the people in the other room. We tried to put a (stained) blanket over but it didn’t help. The third bedroom would be flooded by sunlight as soon as the sun comes up because it would shine through from the living room even with the curtains pulled. The door to the bathroom doesn’t lock and only one person can be in there at a time (meaning there is no privacy door that separates the toilet from the sink or shower) We weren’t looking for luxury, we don’t expect that renting an apartment in a very old city. But after a long day/night of enjoying Barcelona it was important to us to be able to return to a clean, comfortable place where we could get some rest and this unfortunately was not it.

As mentioned before confirming reservations, we already stated there were major constructions in the building which would cause noise and dirt. This was because they were installing an elevator. The construction is about to finish and hope I can host you back soon

Amazing location and amazing service! Even though we arrived well before check in, we were allowed to drop our bags and head off into the city. Great location to get to all the best tourist areas. Would definitely recommend.

Este departamento está ubicado en el corazón de Barcelona, a solo cuadras del Arco del Triunfo. Si es tu primera vez en Barcelona, como lo fue para mí, lo recomiendo mucho, ya que puedes caminar prácticamente a todas partes. Por otro lado, tienes todos los servicios básicos garantizados en el departamento, ya que cuenta con lavadora, secadora, refrigerador, secador de pelo y todo lo necesario para estar cómodo. Altamente recomendado :)

Our stay in this flat was awesome! It was clean, the shower was great, and the location was too perfect. Extra thick blankets in the closet were fantastic on chillier evenings. Nice, quiet neighborhood right next to the Arc de Triomf and Parc de la Ciutadella. Easy access to the metro and bus. Good food nearby. Walking distance to the Gothic Quarter. Loved it! Highly recommend.

Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out! The manager and host were very helpful and responsive. The place is very nice at a great location. The only issue was with the dryer, which wasn't operational and we weren't able to dry our wet clothes. Other than that, we had a great time in Barcelona!

The communication was great. H2O answered all my questions in a timely manner. The apartment was great, clean and in a good location. Check in was easy. My family was able to leave their bags before the check in time, which was a great help because this allowed them to go and get to know the city. Overall, a great experience.

Perfect location and excellent communication with support for questions asked before and during the stay. Would definitely recommend to small groups or families. Restaurant just below is outstanding! Kitchen equipped with everything you would need to self-cater ... but you probably won't want to because the food it so great everywhere.
