Great house in the hills behind Nerja which is only 15 minutes away by car.

Restaurants and beautiful beaches in Nerja. Frigiliana is a very cute town and has beautiful hikes that leave from there. You need a car and need to feel comfortable driving in tight roads, but the road is well done. The house was clean, comfortable and great for our family. It was very peaceful and we got out full dose of sun!

Spacious Villa with Lovely Mountain Views

Spacious villa with lovely views to Frigiliana and the montains beyond. 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms a bonus and large TV in lounge area. Large terrace area for sunbathing and enjoying the views plus 2 covered terraces for dining and shade. Plenty of chairs and sun beds for relaxing The pool was quite dirty at the bottom, needs a sucker to get the debris out. Not the quietest of locations in the area.

Family Break in Frigiliana

The property, pool and gardens are excellent and very well maintained. Nerja and Frigiliana are both only a 10 minute drive. The final road to the Villa is very tight but is in keeping with the other villas in the area. The Villa's location gives off stunning views but offers real peace and tranquility. Thoroughly recommended. The hosts are very accommodating and helpful.

Peace of mind!

Perched on a hill, Casa Gorry offers beautiful views and absolute relaxation. AC came in handy, especial for the top rooms. The house is clean and the pool is a great addition in the summer heat and the kids loved it! Plenty of small and cute towns close by. Service and communication were flawless. Special thanks to Ralph for his prompt responses. Hope to be back soon! Cheers!

Wonderful stay, brilliant location

Spent a week with family in this lovely little house with adequate facilities. Stunning view towards Frigiliana and the surrounding mountains. Nice pool as well. Very accommodating owner and overall smooth communication with managing agency.One needs to be aware that the hillside roads up to the property are very narrow and winding, not for the faint hearted or inexperienced driver. The entry into the property driveway is narrow, too big a car just won’t fit through. If these factors are acceptable to prospective guests then this place is thoroughly recommended!

Dejligt hus med skøn udsigt. Hurtig respons fra udlejningsfirma/ejer under opholdet. Lidt flere store tallerkner kunne ønskes. Kun aircon på værelser på 1. sal.

Vakantie met gezin

Wat hebben wij genoten , het uitzicht geweldig de villa niets op aan te merken , misschien alleen dat de bedden wat aan de harde kant zijn . En de weg naar villa toe is een uitdaging . Zonder auto zou een probleem zijn . Verder alleen maar lof....... Alleen de bedden zijn erg hard misschien toppers?

Die Anlage ist sehr schön gewesen und sehr sauber zum weiterempfehlen,allerdings ein bisschen hat uns gestört, dass der Besitzer auch oft unangemeldet die Anlage betreten hat da wir auch schöne tage in der Anlage verbrachten und lieber ungestört gewesen wären.Aber sonst war alles perfekt.

Die Finca ist sehr schoen und ruhig gelegen. ...

Die Finca ist sehr schoen und ruhig gelegen. Wer es nicht gewohnt ist findet die Anfahrt bestimmt abenteuerlich, aber dann ist alles schoen. Der Ausblick und die Finca selber sind sehr schoen. Wir haben den Pool und die Terasse viel benutzt. Die Kommunikation mit Ralph war schnell und problemlos. Mit den Leuten, die dann die Wechselwaesche gebracht haben, war die Kommunikation über Google Translator kein Problem.

La casa está emplazada en un lugar pintoresco ...

La casa está emplazada en un lugar pintoresco excepcional. Las vistas te quitan la respiración, con Frigiliana al fondo, y se ve Nerja y la costa a la derecha. La piscina es muy agradable, con una orientación excelente y el agua muy gustosa. Los exteriores son muy amplios, lo que permiten hacer vida fuera de la casa en todo momento. Está muy cerca de Nerja, que tiene muchísima vida, y de Frigiliana, sin duda, uno de los pueblos más bonitos de España. La única pega que le pondría es el camino de llegada a la casa, que puede asustar un poco las primeras veces que se hace. No obstante, cuando ya se ha practicado unas cuantas veces, se hace más llevadero.

Séjour Frigiliana

La route d’accès est inadaptée aux véhicules de tourisme (chemin étroit, pentes raides et virages serrés). Intérieur Un peux morose à notre goût. On déconseille fortement.

Désolé d’apprendre que vous n’avez pas aimé ces aspects de la villa que n’ont pas été tels que vous y attendiez. Sur le descriptif de l’annonce il est expliqué qu’il existe 2 manières différentes d'atteindre la villa : le plus long accès est à 4,5 km de Frigiliana et entièrement revêtu de béton. Bien qu'il soit dans un état raisonnable et puisse être conduit avec une voiture normale, l'accès alternatif est un peu plus aventureux et de seulement 2,3 km de long avec des pièces non pavées. Nous déduisons que vous avez accédé à la villa par cette dernière route plus aventureuse que, par contre, d’autres hôtes précédents ont pu transiter avec leur propre véhicule de tourisme sans problème, comme on peut lire sur leurs opinions ici publiées… Cordialement.

Das Haus entspricht genau den Bildern und Beschreibungen. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht und funktional. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Es hat uns im Haus sehr gefallen. Wir konnten alle Mahlzeiten draußen einnehmen, weil wir viel Glück mit dem Wetter hatten. Die Anfahrt zum Haus war sehr abenteuerlich (schmal und teilweise sehr steil). Wenn man die Strecke ein paar mal gefahren ist, konnte man sich darauf einstellen und hatte sich dran gewöhnt.

The location is perfect for access to Frigiliana ...

The location is perfect for access to Frigiliana or Nerja if you prefer the beach. A car is necessary as the access to the villa is via a very steep track. It is perfectly drivable though and Ralph provided a very good description prior to arrival. The villa itself was superb, and just as described in a wonderfully quiet and relaxing environment. The views, sunsets and sunrises from the terrace / pool were incredible too. Thank you very much once again, we had a lovely time! The villa was perfect, we will be back and will recommend to our friends.

Excellent villa in a great location. Space to park 2 cars. The children loved the pool and on me of the first places I've stayed that actually has comfortable furniture. I would definitely stay here again.

villa conforme à la description.

Nous avons aimé cette villa pour passer notre séjour ; de beaux volumes pour 8 personnes que nous étions. La piscine a été appréciée ; ainsi que le barbecue à l'arrière de celle-ci. Vue très jolie sur Frigiliana qui est aussi très joli. Par contre, peut être il faut avoir l'habitude d'accèder à cette villa, tellement la route est excarpée !!! mais cela était plus facile à la fin de la semaine qu'au premier jour. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil sympathique.

Par contre, peut être il faut avoir l'habitude d'accèder à cette villa, tellement la route est escarpée !!! mais cela était plus facile à la fin de la semaine qu'au premier jour. Amazing house. Our expectations were completely superseeded. The house was clean and very well equipped. The views from the terasse were beautiful and a perfect location for complete relaxation. Be sure to have a car that can handle the hills if you don't want to end up with an unexpected break on your way home one day:-)

Casa Gorry is an amazing place. It has everything ...

Casa Gorry is an amazing place. It has everything you need for a great stay including the most breathtaking views of the beautiful hill town, Frigiliana, which is a 40 minute walk if you don't mind a few hills! The smell of lemon & orange blossom from the trees below the house was another huge plus; gorgeous. Ralph was super helpful and quick to respond to queries and the driving instructions on how to find the villa were really detailed so we found it with no problems. Thanks!
