Wonderfully stay!! The property gave us all we needed and more. Location was amazing, just a short 10min drive into main towns for shopping. Huge space at the villa with private pool which we spent hours in. More than enough space for our family of 4. Thank you David and Neil who made our stay so memorable. We will be back!

Excellent large property with plenty of room inside and out. Seating area with bbq and a fabulous large area surrounding the large pool. We had a great stay and Neil the property manager was always available to answer any questions. Would highly recommend this property for a stay. You will need a vehicle to get around to see the very many beautiful towns in this region. There are plenty of supermarkets for food shopping and restaurants and cafes in the towns. Thoroughly enjoyable stay

Beautiful relaxing villa

It was such a relaxing stay! The villa is really nice, quite, clean and spacious. The location is very strategic if you want to visit the nearby towns, my favourite were Martina Franca and Ostuni. The pool area was, in my opinion, the best feature of the house and that's where we spent the majority of our time, the children loved it! The property manager has been so kind and reliable whenever we needed him. Highly recommended if you want to have a nice holiday with your friends and family in Puglia.

Amazing Villa.

Beautiful! Beautiful villa, plenty of room, loads of outdoor seating, loads of space around the pool, and I love the fact there is a gate to the pool to keep the children out when no-one is with them. The pool is amazing, never used a salt water pool before and it's so nice. Feel very secure on the property, well fenced in for the children. Loved the orchard, such a nice touch to the property. Property manager very helpful, thank you. Great location to a local town that serves amazing food and all very friendly. Overall didn't want to come home, could have stayed forever. Would like to come back for longer and see more of the area. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful villa.

Im großen und ganzen eine schöne Unterkunft

Es gibt leider nur eine Klimaanlage im haupthaus und keine weiteren in den Nebengebäuden. Wäre schön wenn im unteren Wohnbereich auch eine wäre oder zumindest in jedem Schlafzimmer .Der einzige große Nachteil an der Unterkunft ist, dass man in der Umgebung (ca 1.5 km radius) weder telefonnetz noch internet hat. Und das haus ist leider sehr schwer zu finden ohne google maps. Ein festnetz wäre angebracht. Zumindest um Hilfe anzufordern falls etwas im Haus passieren sollte. Mit WLAN kommt man da nicht weit. Das WLAN hat bei uns immer funktioniert im Haupthaus. Leider nicht in den Nebengebäuden. Schön war die Unterkunft auf alle Fälle und auch nicht weit von schönen Städten gelegen. Fliegengitter sind überall angebracht, auch an den Türen.

Promesse de luxe non tenue

La grande villa est au centre des Pouilles et permet de visiter la plupart des sites touristiques ; heureusement car il faut s’échapper de cette maison qui n’est pas à la hauteur du luxe promis. Bien conçue, elle est hélas mal entretenue : certaines literies sont moisies, des stores de l’étage sont hors service, des moustiquaires trouées, une vitre fendue, les ustensiles de cuisine hors d’âge, des chaises élimées, voiles d’ombrage « raffistolés », pergola rouillée, parasol près de la piscine cassé … Côté aménagement ce n’est guère mieux : la climatisation annoncée n’est installée que dans deux chambres et l’une est hors service, il n’y a pas de lumière externe pour accéder aux appartements, pas de table extérieure pour un repas de dix personnes (et pas de faitout de taille suffisante !), pas de « smart TV » … Dans les chambres il faut choisir entre commode ou penderie, vous n’aurez pas les deux et rien pour poser une valise ouverte. Les attendus du livret d’accueil ne sont pas tenus : en 10 jours le linge n’a pas été changé, la piscine a été remplie mais pas nettoyée, faute de réserve de gaz certains ont dû se doucher à l’eau froide un matin en fin de séjour. Le WiFi fonctionne mal et n’est pas accessible dans les appartements ; nous n’étions pas informés de l’absence de réseau téléphonique. Nous n’étions pas prévenus non plus de l’absence d’eau courante potable, ce qui oblige à se déplacer en voiture pour se ravitailler aux fontaines ; nous savions seulement par les commentaires d’anciens locataires les désagréments en rapport avec les chiens du voisinage. Nous avons néanmoins apprécié la piscine, le linge de toilette qui sent bon et le système de sécurité qui plutôt efficace (mais l’absence de réseau empêche d’appeler le service si nécessaire)

Je ne peux que contester la plupart de ces faits et n'entrerai pas dans les détails. Mon directeur de maison a en fait dit que cet invité était fou et se plaignait presque tous les jours de rien. Nous ne sommes pas un hôtel, une maison indépendante. le linge n'est certainement pas moisi si tel était le cas, comment pourrait-il sentir bon? Un store était cassé, il ne se déplaçait qu'à mi-chemin dans une chambre par les précédents clients en attente de réparation, ce qui est souvent retardé en août en raison des jours fériés. Toutes les casseroles, etc. ont 2 ans. Nous avons un éclairage extérieur dans toutes les zones auxquelles les clients accèdent. Nous nettoyons la maison et fournissons le linge à l'arrivée et proposons un changement tous les 10 jours. si les clients les souhaitent plus souvent, nous organisons cela. Le livret de maison est envoyé par voie électronique dans les consignes d'accueil. Cet invité a demandé un remboursement qui a été refusé. Aucun de ces problèmes n'a été soulevé pendant le séjour, à part demander une casserole supplémentaire plus grande qui a été fournie. Nous ne louerions plus jamais à cette personne.

Maison agréable dans un environnement privilégiant la nature

Séjour sympa avec un désagrément extérieur lié aux aboiements de chiens surtout la nuit et nettoyage piscine a améliorer cause présence insectes importants

Thank you for your review. I am pleased you liked the setting within the 2 acres and no light pollution giving a real sense of freedom although being only minutes away from the local towns. The pool area is great and so relaxing both during the day and in the evning where you were able to relax in the beach area.

Amazing villa in a beautiful part of Italy well worth a visit

We had a fantastic week here at the villa in Ceglie Messapica. We were greeted by our hosts David & Andrew who were really helpful with good advice of where to eat and what to see. The villa was everything and more, spacious,clean and decorated to a high standard. The pool area being our favourite. We were close to Ceglie Messapica Martina Franca and Cistornino. Wonderful holiday in wonderful setting

The house is situated in the puglian countryside. it is large with all the amenities you need including smart tvs Internet and Netflix! The house is well stocked with kitchen appliances and importantly a nespresso machine! The outside space is amazing and even though there were 8of us, there were plenty of places and patios for us to have our own spaces and feel we were not on top of each other. The pool area is wonderful with 10 high quality sunbeds umbrellas and a gazebo to have shade from the sun. The pool is well tended and has a lovely beach area to relax on. The owners could not do enough to make our holiday special including arranging baby sitters and a chef to prepare a typical puglian meal for us. The house is well situated to visit all the local towns and restaurants. Ceglie and Martina franca are no more than a 10 minute drive. Ceglie has some fine restaurants to eat typical local food and pizzas as well as high end fine dining. Can not recommend the house and the area enough. Thank you again David.

Magnifique propriété au coeur des Pouilles

Très belle villa avec piscine. Tout confort pour 10 personnes (3 chambres doubles et 2 appartements indépendants). Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Fantastic villa set in beautiful, tranquil countryside location, not far from Ceglie.

The lovely owners, David and Andrew were the perfect hosts - they answered all my queries quickly before and during our stay and couldn't have been more helpful. We were met by David on arrival who had provided us with some essentials and local produce so that we did not need to rush out to the shops. The villa is fantastically spacious with three large sitting rooms, two dining areas, three bedrooms in the main house and two wonderful, independent rooms in the gardens. We were really impressed with its quality and it is really well-equipped. There are also plenty of areas outside to sit and relax and a beautiful salt water swimming pool. You are just a few kilometres from Ceglie, a pretty and characterful town, as well as many others. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to others.
