Superb apartment

We arrived early and was greeted by mercedes , prompty and she was fantastic explaining things to us , language barrier not a problem with google translation !!! 😂 , we had a fabulous time sea view to die for , close to all amenities and within walking distance , will definately book again in the future , beds comfy , sofa comfy , .....washing machine could do with replacing but overall a fantastic place to stay xx

Absolutely wonderful!

The apartment was perfect, the location amazing, the people friendly, and the food, of course, the best. La Cala de Mijas is one of my favorite places along the Costa de Sol. It is a smaller town, not overbuilt like Fuengirola or Torremelinos. I stayed here for two months and it was the best decision I've made in a long time. In addition, Ricardo was a perfect host. In fact, my niece and her boyfriend visited and her boyfriend let me know that he wanted to ask my niece to marry him in a romantic setting. Ricardo offered some suggestions, and the proposal went off smashingly! (She said yes!) I would positively recommend staying here and will do so again myself.

Well equipped and comfortable apartment

We enjoyed the apartment for a month, it is situated close to all amenities overlooking the sea. The apartment was well appointed, with a wide range of kitchen utensils and lots of pots and pans, and we were pleased to find that many of the basic requirements were in place for us to use immediately, like spices,sugar, coffee, as well as dishwasher tablets, shampoos, cleaning materials and washing powders and then we simply replaced them before we left. Ricardo looked after us extremely well and was on hand to answer any questions we had, including dealing with a minor problem with a shower head which he attended to straight away. As it was January it was cold in the evenings and early mornings but the apartment is equipped with air condition/ heaters so we were very comfortable. If we could add a few minor things, a new mattress on the double bed would be good, we would put 2 recliner chairs on the balcony and we would organise a TV system that had more English speaking channels. However the Internet was good and we were able to view Sky Go, BBC I Player and Netflix on our laptop as well as Spotify for some music. We enjoyed it so much, watching the sun rise every morning and having coffee on the balcony whilst listening to the weather forecast in England that we will go back.

Great long term stay location

Property is in an excellent location, on beachfront at back of boardwalk with easy access to local bars, restaurants & centre of La Cala de Mijas. Views excellent overlooking sea/bay. The apartment is spacious, light & airy. Kitchen is well equipped for a long stay with pots & pans, dishwasher & washer.....etc. However, crockery is in need of upgrading & more glasses required. Large bedroom excellent though twin bedroom needs proper beds/mattresses for adults. 2 out of 3 sofas in lounge also need upgrading as very uncomfy. Probably ok for 1 week but not for 4 weeks. Wifi excellent but TV package also needs improving (no english speaking news channel) or advance guidance required to bring own cable/subscription/firestick etc. Overall very good & La Cala de Mijas is great place for long term out of summer season stay. Underground garage is a bonus as car parking is always difficult in town centre.

Great appartement, very nice owners and super clean.

Great place to be! In love with La Calla. The appartement is marvelous. Ricardo and Mercedes are very kind. We will be back!

Lovely place in Mijas

This apartment was Lovely, very good standard, very well equipped. We had a wonderful time here thou we had to leave a week earlier than expected,. And Ricardo and his wife was so very nice, and we will sure go back! And Mijas is also a nice Little Town Inger and Staffan Boström, Sweden

Simply the Best

We stayed in this apartment for 17 day in September 18. Ricardo met us and showed us around, he was very helpful all through the holiday, thank you Ricardo. The Apartments location is second to none in La Cala and the apartment itself was like home from home, there is nothing that you could want that wasn't in the apartment and all of good quality. The apartment which is front line and is well laid out with an amazing balcony and lovely outdoor furniture. The apartment was spotlessly clean with lovely bedding and towels. We go to La Cala most years and usually eat out every night but this year we were more than happy to cook for ourselves and sit on the balcony. The communal area was first class and most days we had the pool to ourselves. We would have loved to have stayed here again next year but it was already booked but we will definitely be back.
