Nice unit with the potential to be great

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pool was nice with good beach access and the grills were in surprisingly good shape. The unit was nice inside with good working AC and it was clean. The TVs are in serious need of upsizing and the internet was painfully slow. Units don't need 60 inch + TVs but I'm not sure if these were over 30 and the main TV in the living room is very far away. I'm young with good eyes and I could barely see the TV. Considering that there is no view at night time there, folks watch TV, the unit should have a borderline TV from at least the last decade.The kitchen equipment, (knives and pans for example) needs replenishment. They are in bad shape and unsafe to use. There are some things that as an owner of a condo you just have to replenish and cooking hardware is one of them. It's ok to go super cheap but for 3-4K/week to stay there, the equipment needs to be usable.The beds were decent for a rental.The property management company was great and always has been. We've been to the island multiple times, plan to return, and plan to continue selecting properties with this agency. Thank you for your hospitality. This review was intended to be harsh but honest. We enjoyed our stay but we enjoyed our prior unit much more and look forward to getting back to that unit next time. Hopefully, the owners of this unit consider updating the TVs, internet, and kitchen equipment to make this unit more inviting and usable for families.

Beautiful Property and Location

as advertised, the property was beautiful and right on the beach. It was well maintained and was a very quiet complex. The storage unit nee4ds to be cleaned out and the umbrellas were both broke but overall an excellent property

Sanibel at its finest

The location of the property was amazing! Short walk to an amazing beach with great shelling. The condo had plenty of room. We loved sitting on screen porch looking at ocean & hearing the waves/ We loved the kitchen, the screen porch, & master suite& bath. The check in & out procedure was GREAT!!!! We really liked having a code to enter because keeping up with keys can be a hassle. The pool was great after a long day on the beach. The second bedroom was small but perfect for our 2 teenage girls. The comforter on master bed may need to be replaced. In addition, the beach items were not what we expected because they were broken. We bought an umbrella & chairs for the beach and left in closet. Overall, great place & we will definitely be back.

The kitchen has everything you would need--so great for us as cooks. The doors to the lanai open totally wide (three wide) so you feel you are outside on the beach, but still have the privacy you want. It was wonderful. Thank you.

Outstanding

The condo is lovely, as advertised. Very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The location is outstanding and the view from the balcony is first rate. Two little things….the light cover on ceiling light in hallway by the door is missing and we could not get the knob to work in guest shower to turn water from faucet to shower. Neither of these issues were a big g deal, but should be fixed.

Clean, up to date, comfortable bed, plenty of towels - plus beach towels, lanai furniture was great, nice bathrooms, air fryer toaster oven combo in kitchen, living room seating comfy. Pool great! Access to beach was easy. Storage closet beach items were too musty to use - could use an upgrade there. Location was fine - 15 min bike ride to Bailey’s grocery; 2 min ride to small Bailey’s market at Sundial. Maintenance responded to request quickly & professionally. Would stay at Sanddollar again!

Perfect getaway

Loved our stay with my 80 year old parents. Elevator was very helpful. Loved the porch and nice walkways to beach! So quiet! Well maintained property and our condo was decorated so nice!

The management company that takes care of it is very efficient. The only thing that is not updated is the living room TV. It is very small and older technology so the picture is not good. We played cards at night since the TV wasn’t that good. With an upgraded TV this condo is perfect!

Sanibel Vacation

Overall the condo was nicely decorated and as described with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. The amenities are very nice, including the lovely pool, storage room and ample parking. The only issue we had was the lack of wash clothes (3 total) in the unit and the condition of the linens. Many of the towels were quite old, had holes / rips and just need to be replaced. The unit was very clean and we really enjoyed our week there before the end of summer.

One of Sanibel's best-Sanddollar A201

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sanddollar is our favorite place to stay on Sanibel. The view from A-201 is outstanding. The beds were very comfortable, even in the second bedroom. The unit has been very well maintained. We had a new washer and dryer, very comfortable furnishings throughout and even on the lanai. The outdoor amenities at Sanddolar are terrific - the pool, the outdoor grills (there are 4, all new). We used Select Vacation Properties for the first time and were delighted with their service. We hope to use them again and again.

The drying rack that was on the porch was rusted and broken. We were led to believe that the storage unit Had beach stuff but it was such a mess everything was piled up and things were broken and rusted that we didn’t even attempt it. I would recommend this place but with many reservations.
