Our stay on Kauai was made better by staying at the Nani O'Hana home in Poipu. We were a large group and the house accommodated everyone without any crowding. The large living area along with rear and side yard lanais gave all a place to relax when home during the day. A dining room table that could fit 12 if needed made for comfortable meals. The kitchen was very well stocked with all types of cookware, utensils and many spices and there was a very new and large grill next to the rear lanai.Directly out back is a paved path leading to beaches at both ends and a selection of both eat in and take out restaurants. A full complement of beach gear and a wagon for use are in the garage. The supermarket is just a 10-minute drive. Our host, Jon,  was very responsive and had both on and off island contacts to address any issues. We would certainly stay again but hopefully without the hurricane!  It was a great stay.

Thank you Peggy for the kind review! We are glad to know that you and your family had a great time! Being able to walk to the beach is a big deal these days, as the public parking options at Poipu Beach Park are now crowded, with the new construction of homes in the area. So choosing a property that is walkable to Poipu Beach Park and Shipwreck Beach is pretty important. Please come back when you can. We would love to host you and your family once again! Aloha!

Thanks Lisa for the kind review! We are so happy that you and your family enjoyed your stay. Also glad to hear that you enjoyed the athletic club facility for the pool and workout options, as well as their restaurant. Our location is helpful to families that prefer to walk to the beach, as parking a car there has become more challenging and walking with our wagon is much easier! :) Aloha and Mahalo!

The host Jon was very communicative. The property manager was also friendly and helpful. The property is in a very convenient location, with all the beach amenities available to take a brief and easy walk to the kid-friendly Poipu beach! Other activities were also within an easy driving distance, and there were many delicious options for food in the area. Location is great! All rooms appeared as photos show and was very comfortable for our family of seven people to stay in.

Jon, the host was great. He provided ideas for things to do and favorite restaurants to visit, which as first-time visitors to Kauai, we especially appreciated. The location of this property is ideal as we could walk out the door and arrive at Poipu Beach or Shipwreck Beach in 10 minutes. Loved the spacious master bedroom and bath, comfortable living room, and well-equipped kitchen, all of which were sparkling clean.

Thank you Liz for your kind review! We enjoyed having you and your family stay at our Poipu vacation home! Having the ability to walk to the beach areas etc. really makes a difference these days, as the parking areas are limited and it is frustrating to drive to the beach and then not be able to find somewhere to park. Walking is much more relaxing and having the pull along wagon makes toting chairs and boogie boards a bit easier! Please come back again soon and thank you for staying with us! Aloha, Jon and Makena
