Welcome to our island home! Discover the ultimate getaway at the Garden Island Oasis at the Regency at Poipu Kai, nestled in the heart of the enchanting Poipu Beach area on the south shore of Kauai. This beautiful property is renowned for its lush landscapes and proximity to stunning beaches (a 5-10 minute walk to Shipwreck, Brenneke's or Poipu Beaches). This spacious 3-bedroom unit has full split AC in every bedroom and living area plus every amenity you need to relax and enjoy your time in paradise, from luxurious beds, a generous living area with vaulted ceilings that accommodates larger groups, two comfortable lanais perfect for lounging with your morning coffee, in-unit washer and dryer, newly-updated kitchen and appliances, and all the beach toys and gear to make a day at the beach easy and fun!

This is the best VRBO condo we've been in. Beatifully maintained, well stocked kitchen and bathtooms and plenty of beach gear in good shape. Highly recommend!

Great location and lovely accomidations

Spent a few days in late July with my four adult children. The layout was perfect for us and we appreciated all the beach chairs and umbrella. The location gave us easy, walkable access to beaches in Popui and an easy drive to food and ice cream

The location was perfect in the complex. Close to the pool and grill. Walking distance to beaches. There were plenty of beach accessories such as chairs, wagon, boogie board, snorkel gear and more! Host was quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again!

Had an amazing time here. This spot was perfect for our family vacation as it had all the amenities of home. In walking distance to several beaches and a beautiful walking path to explore the Poipu coast. We would definitely stay here again.

Beachside paradise!

Lovely condo within walking distance to see the honu at the beach. Communicating with the hosts was excellent, check in and out was a breeze. The only problem we had was we didn't want to leave! We are already talking about staying here again!

This condo was absolutely beautiful! The hosts have everything you need for your stay in Kauai. It was super clean and the beds were very comfortable! The hosts were very easy to communicate with. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place for our vacation.

We could not have asked for a better rental for our vacation. It was so thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need especially the beach chairs and umbrella. The location was perfect to the beach and all the fun places to eat and explore. The bedrooms were decorated with such fun Hawaiian decor and the bedding and pillows were perfect. The two kind beds were one of the top reason we picked this rental. The air conditioning was an absolute must and we were grateful for the comfortable temperature for sleeping. We spent time on the patio enjoying breakfast and a couple rainbows was an added bonus. We had zero complaints and would absolutely stay again when we come back. Close to a lot of popular places to eat and a beautiful shopping center. We will be dreaming about the acai bowls, Musubi, and poke tuna bowls. YUM! The owners were so incredible with communication and so overly helpful.

A Family Vacation in Paradise!

Our family of six adults stayed in the Garden Oasis for a week. We can’t wait to come back! The condo is beautiful, just like the pictures. We like to cook, so we really liked the fully equipped kitchen with extra spices, etc. The owners werey very easy to work with and check-in was a breeze. The location was perfect! A quick walk to Poipu Beach, number one beach in America and to Shiowreck Beach. The condo grounds are a tropical paradise and birds came to have coffee on the lanai with us in the mornings. We enjoyed walking on the beach, swimming with the turtles, seeing the Spouting Horn and watching the sunset. We also enjoyed Waimea Canyon, the Princeville Garden and Chocolate Tasting tour and the Grove Plantation tour. Did I mention we can’t wait to go back?

We are an active Alaskan family of four with a love for travel, adventure, natural beauty and spending time in special places.

When we aren't traveling to Kauai, we enjoy spending time fishing and relaxing at our cabin on Kachemak Bay outside of Homer, Alaska. We also love hiking with our dog in the mountains surrounding our hometown of Anchorage, biking, skiing and enjoying as much time as we can with friends and family, including our two busy teens. Family time and family vacations are extremely important to us and Poipu is our family's favorite vacation destination--we hope it is soon to be yours too!

We first discovered the magic of Kauai’s south shore on a family vacation over 25 years ago and returned again when our kids were babies and have returned to the Poipu area on an almost annual basis since then, staying in a 3-bedroom unit at the Regency on numerous occasions. We love the layout, spaciousness, pool access and easy walk-ability to multiple beaches, trailheads and restaurants.

There is no place on earth as uniquely beautiful as the south shore of Kauai, with its lush tropical scenery, dramatic lookouts, spectacular sunsets, and abundant wildlife! On a typical day at the beach you can expect to see Hawaiian monk seals and many green sea turtles resting on the shore. Whale watching is one of our favorite pastimes each winter. My husband likes to joke that his spirit animal is the humpback whale and, just like humpback whales, it is his goal in life to spend summers in Alaska and winters on Kauai someday!

Our unit is situated in one of the quietest areas of the Regency complex, with gorgeous greenbelt views. It has convenient access from the parking lot but you can't see the road or any parking areas from the unit, only tropical trees, flowering gardens and green spaces! That is why we refer to it as the Garden Island Oasis - it feels like you are hidden away from the busy beach scene, while still being close to all the action!

Our unit is also extremely comfortable and well-equipped for guests and families. We are fully stocked with beach toys and gear (like chairs, coolers, umbrellas, boogie boards etc) as well as a well-appointed, recently remodeled kitchen to make cooking and entertaining as enjoyable as possible!
