Charming cottage in Intervale. Well appointed for a comfy stay. Close to everything the WMV has to offer. Host was very responsive.

Mountain vacation

The Dundee Lodge was awesome! Very clean, everything we needed to feel at home. Close to all White Mountain activities- great hiking area. Would like to stay there again sometime.

Perfect stay

This was my second time staying at this cabin and it was just as great as the first time. This is the perfect cabin for a ski weekend. I hope to return again!

Perfect cabin stay

Brought my family with three children, and had the best time exploring the Saco River and North Conway. We loved the quaint feeling of this cabin, and my kids absolutely loved the loft area. Perfect New Hampshire getaway cabin!

Our family (myself, my husband, and two kids ages 12 and 9) had another wonderful stay at Dundee Lodge over the 4th of July weekend. The lodge itself is comfortable and charming, and the location is perfect for the activities we enjoy: hiking in the White Mountains, swimming in the river, visiting Story Land, and shopping & fireworks in North Conway. It's also very close to a number of tasty, family-friendly restaurants. Checking in and out is easy, and Judi is a terrific host - very responsive and making sure you have everything you need. We have been coming here for several years and have always had a great time. Definitely recommend!

Lovely Dundee Lodge Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Dundee Lodge! Our children loved the upstairs bedroom, our 3 year old had the best time in the play area! The master bedroom was huge and super comfy!! It was in a perfect area. The whole house felt like home!We’re looking forward to booking again in the future. Thank you again Judi for allowing us to book with you last minute. 😊😊.

Amazing find!!

This very charming and cozy cottage is a wonderful place for family, couple, or single person looking to spend time in the clean, refreshing, and beautiful upper state of NH! It is everything it claims to be! Very well furnished from furniture, games, kitchen and bathroom, and with tremendous comfort and charm! Perfect location for whatever you want to do! I cannot wait to go back and hated to leave! The owner was very easy to communicate with as well.

I am not sure how you can edit your review and my dashboard doesn't allow me to send another request for a review because this one already posted. You could try going to the original email prompt from VRBO to resubmit your review with the star rating you intended to leave. If you were on your phone you may not have even noticed that by touching a star it leaves a rating and that by touching the end of the row, that counts for 5., it is not intuitive for first-timers. Another wonderful stay at Dundee Lodge

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids ages 10 and 7) had a great time at Dundee Lodge for a long 4th of July weekend. We stayed here last year for the holiday and loved it so much we came back again! Judi is a terrific host, providing lots of useful information and very responsive if you have any questions or issues. The description and photos of the cabin in the listing are accurate. The cabin is charming and clean, with plenty of room for us and our kids. The kitchen is snug but well set up. The weather was rainy but we had fun playing board games and reading, and were still able to get out for hiking, exploring the nearby stream, riding the Conway Scenic Railroad, and visiting Story Land. The Mount Washington Valley is a place we treasure and love to visit, and Dundee Lodge is a wonderful home base for enjoying all the area has to offer.

Cozy cabin in a great location

My husband, our children (ages 11 & 8) and I had another wonderful visit to Dundee Lodge - this was our family's third year spending the 4th of July weekend here, and we really enjoyed ourselves once again. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. The twin bed sleeping area can get pretty warm, but with fans the kids were able to sleep easily. (The master bedroom has AC so that was very comfortable.) The cabin's location makes it very easy to get to lots of great activities: during our visit we went hiking, visited Story Land, and spent time browsing the shops in North Conway village. We also swam in the nearby stream several times, which was very pleasant given the warm weather. Judi is a great host - very friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to messages. I definitely recommend staying here, and we hope to be back again soon!

Our Stay WAS a Fairy Tale!

Our stay at the Fairy-Tale cabin in Intervale was exactly just that! We experienced all the beautiful White Mountains had to offer during the day from golden leafy foliage, waterfalls, and mountain peaks! The comfort of returning to our cabin in the woods was an at-home, comfy, experience! As listed, you have everything to make your stay comfortable and just what you need. The eclectic surroundings and interior design are perfect for this cabin lodge. Although just the two of us enjoyed our time in the cabin, the cool second-story children's sleeping space reminded us how much fun it would be to have grandkids or are own kids when they were younger with us! Cleanliness is apparent and the large main bedroom is a retreat in itself! Judi is strongly communicative and ensures that you have everything you need. I had to facilitate learning through a ZOOM meeting during our stay and worried about robust WIFI. Judi ensured I had direct connect cabling necessary to ensure my meeting went successfully! Great time at the Dundee Lodge in the White Mountains!

Charming cabin in a great location!

My husband and I stayed at Dundee Lodge with our two children, ages 9 and 6, over the 4th of July weekend and had a wonderful time. The North Conway area is a favorite place for us - I grew up visiting my grandparents here - and this cabin was perfect for our family and close to everything we wanted to do during our stay. The description and photos in this listing are completely accurate - the cabin has a charming, vintage feel in the living room, bunk room, and kitchen, and a modern, spacious feel in the master bedroom. There is only one bathroom, but that worked out for us - and there is an outhouse right behind the cabin if need be. The entire cabin was clean and well cared for, and had everything we needed. The kids loved the bunk room and were happy to play with the bins of blocks and toys there. It's a short drive from the cabin to North Conway, where we rode the Conway Scenic Railroad, shopped at the 5 & 10, Zeb's General Store, and Wild Birch Books. We loved watching the 4th of July fireworks from the park in front of the train station. It's also a short drive from the cabin to StoryLand, where we love to take our kids each summer. It's easy to get to a supermarket and there are a variety of restaurant/takeout options nearby if you don't feel like cooking. Judi is a terrific host who is very responsive and provides a lot of information for her guests. One tip we took advantage of was playing in the stream that runs alongside the road that the cabin is on. We spent an afternoon there, climbing on the rocks and dipping in and out of the water. Our whole family really loved staying at Dundee Lodge - we definitely recommend it and hope to return in the future!

Cozy, rustic cabin in a fantastic location for white mountains exploration

We decided somewhat last minute to visit the white mountains during the last week of my maternity leave, and I was watching this cabin’s availability like a hawk due to its amazing location and unmatchable character. It did not disappoint- it was both close enough to restaurants, shops and other amenities to ensure creature comforts while also being strategically located nearby wonderful hikes in Pickford, Franconia, and Crawford Notches as well as the Kancamagus highway, which was incredible as we visited in fall. The host was very gracious with me, as a mom to a new infant and a 6 year old, when I was late with my final payment, as well as when my son left his favorite stuff is behind and she agreed to mail it to us- we can’t thank her enough. The beds were cozy and my son loved the bunk area for play, as well as they toys available! The wood stove was amazing on chilly October nights, and the nearby river is absolutely gorgeous- we wish we were there in summer to explore the nearby swimming holes! The master bedroom was huge, and has a pull out couch, which was so helpful for having a travel crib and a kiddo who decided that the upstairs bunk room was maybe a bit too far from Mom and Dad ;) The details of the cabin itself were so charming and reminded us of an old farm house we used to live in. The only things it was missing that I may have thought about with kids was a W/D and dishwasher. But, we just brought some extra clothes and a bottle brush and we were fine! Otherwise the house was well stocked and we appreciated the host’s availability for any questions and her suggestions of what to do given the off-season. We hope we can return during summer to enjoy more of this amazing, restful retreat as a family! Thank you to the host for sharing your home with us!

charming historic cabin

We enjoyed this staying in this cabin. We found it to be centrally located with easy access to many diverse White Mountain hiking trails (especially beautiful with the fall foliage), while also near to many restaurants and shops. The cabin has historic charm, is well-maintained and well-stocked. Hope to visit again.

Rustic retreat

Having never been to New Hampshire before we were looking for something to capture the essence of being in the mountains. Dundee Lodge was perfect. Great location with easy access to all attractions.Beautifully appointed with so many little touches that always add to the experience. Loved the living room and afternoon nap in the loft. Large master bedroom with comfortable mattress. Bathroom and kitchen also no problem.Quiet location and would definitely stay again on another trip to this beautiful state.

Great lodge in close proximity to white mountains and story land

The lodge was wonderful. Although our daughter wanted to stay in the master bedroom with us, she loved going up to the treehouse room to play. We used the lodge as our home base while we explored the region. My only regret is not allocating more time to spend enjoying the lodge. They had everything you could ask for to enjoy a summer day, hiking poles, inner tubes, a swimming hole just down the street. Air conditioning in master bedroom was appreciated as we hit a heatwave.

6th year and never gets old

We’ve made the Dundee Lodge our winter tradition for six years now. Everything about this place is just perfect. The kids love it, the grown ups love it, it’s perfectly located and it’s just overall magical. The owners are super accommodating and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is top notch.
