Cal Rei Gran is a beautifully renovated holiday villa in Pollensa Mallorca, set within large landscaped gardens in a peaceful countryside location between Pollensa old town and Puerto Pollensa. Combining contemporary comfort with relaxed Mediterranean living, the property offers generous indoor and outdoor spaces, making it an excellent choice for families and groups looking to enjoy the best of north Mallorca.



Ideally positioned just a short drive from Pollensa’s historic centre, Puerto Pollensa’s beaches and marina, and a variety of golf, tennis and padel facilities, the villa provides both tranquillity and convenience.



The heart of the property is its bright open-plan living and dining area, where large sliding doors seamlessly connect the interior with the gardens, terraces and pool area. The fully equipped kitchen, designed by renowned Italian brand Bontempi, offers a stylish and practical space for preparing meals, while the adjoining dining areas are ideal for gathering together with family and friends.



Outdoor living is a particular highlight at Cal Rei Gran. The spacious terraces, covered dining areas and dedicated entertaining spaces have been designed to make the most of Mallorca’s sunny climate. Beside the pool, guests will find an outdoor kitchen complete with an Argentinian barbecue, creating the perfect setting for long al fresco lunches and relaxed evenings under the stars.



The large heated private swimming pool measures approximately 12m x 6m and is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens with mature trees and open countryside views towards the Tramuntana Mountains. The garden is fully enclosed and also features a children's play area with swings and a table tennis table, making the villa particularly appealing for families.



The property accommodates up to 12 guests across 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The main house offers spacious and comfortable bedroom suites, including a principal king-size bedroom and additional double and twin bedrooms, several of which benefit from en-suite bathrooms.



Separate from the main house is a charming guest casita located beside the pool and outdoor entertaining area. The casita provides additional accommodation and privacy, featuring a king-size bedroom and a second room with twin beds, which share a bathroom. Please note that the twin bedroom does not have direct internal access to the bathroom and access is either through the king-size bedroom or from outside, making this arrangement particularly suitable for a family group.



The interiors blend contemporary design with a subtle rustic character, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout. Guests can enjoy two separate lounge areas, one in the main house and another in the casita, both equipped with comfortable sofas and large Smart TVs. Air conditioning and high-speed fibre optic WiFi are available throughout the property.



Additional outdoor spaces include a covered terrace overlooking the pool and casita, ideal for outdoor dining, as well as a separate breakfast terrace positioned to enjoy the morning sunshine.

Perfect spacious holiday villa

Great bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of outdoor space and brilliant pool and cabana. Would be really useful to show a plan layout of the villas in the details as it can be difficult ahead of arrival working out which rooms will work best particularly when travelling with children.

What a joy!

We came with our family grand parents, parents and children and had a vlast. the pool was awesome, the location was great (not nearly as hard to find as one might assume from the description that was sent). Mallorca is still one of our favorite places to visit and this villa was a great pied-a-terre. The outside kitchen was our favorite place to dine. some of the showers did not have the draining capacity needed. But apart from that all was well.

Fabulous place for a family holiday

The villa is beautiful inside and out, with excellent air-con (a must this summer!), and great spaces for dining and lounging. The pool was good for very small children due to the shallow steps at one end, but big and deep enough for adults to swim. The layout worked really well for us, with the two infants and their parents in the Casita which was easy to monitor from the big table outside the kitchen where the adults all spent most evenings. There was plenty of space to sit down to eat both outside and in. It is only a 3 minute drive to the two large supermarkets nearby (Eroski is superior to Lidl for almost everything, with excellent fish and meat counters). The wi-fi worked well. The staff from Balearic Villas were very helpful: the fact that they let us know the previous occupants had checked out early and we could therefore arrive early was particularly appreciated. If you are planning to use the barbeque, I would strongly advise you to bring a Thermapensimilar digital probe with you - this applies to any barbeque, but is particularly relevant when you are cooking large quantities and/or unfamiliar foods: we had a delightful suckling pig on our last night - Pablo - cooked to perfection! Also, there is no ventilation of the tray in which the charcoal sits, so be sure to use the barbecue chimney starters to ensure your charcoal gets hot. There is very little that could be improved - with the possible exception of the weather! As mentioned by a previous reviewer, there are few indoor games provided. We are a family that is keen on board and other games after dinner, so brought along 10kg of games. You might think that is excessive. We also cooked every night and drank quite frequently: although the dishwasher was good, with a full house it would have been great to have had either a dedicated glass washera second dishwasher. But overall, the best villa we have stayed in by some distance.

Great property in a great location ...

Lovely property with good size bedrooms a lovely garden and pool. Great for kids and adults alike. The location was perfect for Pollensa & Puerto Pollensa and for various cycle routes. One observation would that the kitchen wasn't really set up with equipment to cater for 10-12 people as there were no large saucepans or casseroles, nor were there many large serving dishes and platters. Also the thermostat in one of the bedrooms broke at the start of our second week and was still not fixed when we left. There were also ony eight sunbeds out by the pool for a villa that sleeps 10-12 (pet gripe of mine). We did find some other sunbeds behind the Castita that the pool guy cleaned so we could use

An idyllic setting for a family holiday

A peaceful location close to a great 9 hole golf course, beautiful beach at Cala Sant Vicent and stunning cycling routes. The villa was perfect. Beautifully furnished with ample accommodation. The outdoor seating areas were ideal for summer evening barbecues. We will be back! Those members of the party who stayed in the 'Cassita' thought that a larger bathroom wash basin would have been preferable.
