Oceanside Apartment er beliggende ca. 100 meter fra havfronten. Det ligger på første sal i ejerboligen og består af en privat indgang med stort soveværelse, komplet bad og separat hul og spiseplads. Vi byder dit kæledyr velkommen og har en indhegnet baghave. Dekoratørrør tilføjer charme til dit king size soveværelse med parabol-tv. Bemærk, at der ikke er noget køkken, men en mikrobølgeovn, kaffekande og lille køleskab gør det muligt at nyde måltider i lejligheden. Small and cozy. Easy to get to many areas around the island and Wilmington

Small apartment, good for one or two. Great because a dog is allowed. The host is very accommodating and easy to work with. Would stay again.

The host controls the air conditioning, internet, and other amenities remotely. During our stay, the cable service was out. There were no lights in the backyard, making it completely dark at night.Privacy was another major issue. The host lives on the property and frequently brought her dog into the yard, where it left waste. The neighboring houses overlook the backyard, so there was very little privacy.The refrigerator was extremely small and did not keep food cold very well. You also have to walk all the way around the back of the house to enter the rental area. There were flies everywhere, which made the stay even more unpleasant.Overall, this was a horrible vacation experience. We were so disappointed that we left a day early. I would not recommend staying here.

Ms. RIchardson had never booked through VRBO before. She paid no attentiont to the house rules and arrived with two dogs which she didnt register and both were over our size maximum. She refused to pay the pet fee saying VRBO did not tell her about it and accused me of trying to get more money out of her than she owed. It is clearly listed on my site. She also called me on her way down to raise heck about the No Smoking Policy. Also clearly stated on my site. She was so adamant that I gave in and let she and her "husband" smoke outside in the back yard although It is entirely against my policy. She complained about anything and everything..even in her review you can see she says that "I Control the Interne"t!! How I wish I could but unfortunately the line coming to my home was cut Friday June 26 and AT&T could not get a service person out until Monday June 29. There was nothing I could do about it and beleive me, I tried! I apologized profusely and she informed me that they didnt watch TV..so it didnt really matter that they couldnt stream Roku. They were only here a short while until she was texting a list of complaints...the AC... I immediately turned it down to 67. The AC was working as hard as it could. We are in the midst of a heat wave and the humidity is dreadful but an AC has limits . I have two units for my home and they were both running full blast the whole time Ms. RIchardson was here. My dog was in the back yard ONE time with me and I asked her permission before

Great place when traveling with pets

We needed to bring both of our smaller dogs with us on vacation as one has health issues. Jackie was wonderful to work with us. The fenced in yard is small but perfect for them to do their business. great areas to walk your dogs as well and within a few minute drive to Ft Fisher beach which is dog friendly year round. Jackie clearly states that there is no kitchen; however there is a small fridge, microwave, coffee pot. Our only issue was dealing with washing up dishes, etc. since you have to use a basin and the bathroom sink, etc. Again we knew this going in. If the closet off of the kitchen could be switched out for a very mini kitchenette it would be perfection!! She is still dealing with some repairs from Florence but nothing that was an issue for us. Thank you Jackie for working with us with Jackson and Kiah! We had a great week!! Steve, Ellen, Kiah and Jackson

Anniversary Weekend

My wife and I had a fantastic stay in kure Beach. When we arrived Jackie was there waiting to greet us, check us in, and give us the rundown of what’s around the location. The hospitality we received was truly wonderful. We look forward to another occasion to visit Kure Beach and receive such wonderful welcome. Thank you Jackie, for a wonderful stay!

Had a good time since we could bring our Corgi along

Some of the exterior is still recovering from storm damage but it is still comfortable and nice inside. Staying here was like visiting a long known acquaintance. Ann, Lola (Corgi), and I look forward to staying again !

Great for you and doggy too

Open your condo door and let your beloved pet enjoy a large fenced area. The condo is clean and well appointed with all amenities provided. Jackie, the owner ,is readily available to help make your stay pleasant and worry free. Carol, Sammy our Yorkie, and l look forward to staying at Oceanside again.

Clean and friendly

Me and my wife recently visited this play and it was a great stay! Right across the road from a beach access point which was never too heavily populated. Jackie was very accommodating and friendly. She is a great person who will answer any questions honestly and is down to Earth! The place was clean and all any couple would need for a few days stay. We took our fur pup and he had a blast! The dog beach is a short 5 minute drive away and people really keep the area clean of dog waste. The main shopping and restaurant area is about a 10 minute drive away and it can get crowded if you try to go on a weekend night after 6 but all the food we ate was delicious! We plan on staying here again!

Great location extremely pet friendly, easy beach access

Jackie has a cozy spot for 1-2 people which was clean, quiet and well appointed and great for small pets. Easy communication, check in and check out, located close to Fort Fisher and downtown Kure Beach as well as very close to attractions of Carolina Beach. Highly recommended.

Wonderful trip to Kure Beach

Convenient to Beach

We were in Kure Beach for the first time. We had a pet with us and needed a place to sleep, which was the only reason we used VRBO. In terms of convenience to the beach and the ferry terminal, you can't go wrong. As others have stated the home is clean, and Owner goes out of her way to check on you and make sure things are perfect. She includes pet treats, water and a welcome bottle of wine and assistance with anything you might need regarding the area and attractions. If you have a pet, need a yard or want to be near the water - the home is fine and is easy to come and go from. (Be aware Kure Beach prohibits dogs on beach during summer months.) For us personally the value proposition wasn't there. When you factor in nightly rate, cleaning fee, pet fee, security deposit and fact you pay all them weeks before the visit, plus fact the overall area is mediocre and geared toward young people, I would have preferred to stay at a hotel in Southport, which we did for the last night. The accommodations are cramped, the bedroom is dark, the kitchenette consists of an old microwave and small fridge, and your only view from yard or bedroom is of the neighbor's balconies, who sit outside smoking all day and night. If you are renting unit to be at beach the accommodations are convenient, but given overall cost and restrictions, (for us) there are cleaner, nicer, "other" options better suited to our personal needs. Plus at a hotel you won't have to pay the 1k up front, nor wait to hopefully get a security deposit back, nor have check out instructions that include stripping beds nor pay inflated cleaning fees and you get flexibility to check out early. The cover image shows a beautiful home with welcoming patios. The actual accommodations are accessible via the back yard only, and consist of a tiny family and bedroom behind garage. If you wish to be at beach with flexibility to come and go, this home is an adequate and convenient option.

Oceanside has always received 5 star reviews and I always try to make each guest ( and their dogs) feel special. The issues you cited are not ones that others have found disappointing or not up to the description described on the website. I always urge renters to be sure and read through all the information which thoroughly describes the apartment and what is provided, the grounds and accessibility to the beach and local attractions. The apartment is light and bright and offers pet owners safety and convenience for their dogs. There are numerous photos on the web site so that guests know what to expect. Owners do not handle money. VRBO receives all inquiries and payments, deducts their fees and pays the owners after the guest has left. The value and rental and service fees are in line for like properties in the area. Pet fees are paid to the owner and are used to fund a grant to an animal rescue organization each year. However, if you feel your fees wee inflated and inappropriate, I am happy to discuss a refund. I think you will find the people on our island kind and accepting of new residents and I wish you luck in your search for a new home. All the best to you Jackie .

Puppy Paradise!

My husband and I decided to take a beach trip with our pups. Jackie really made it comfortable and enjoyable for all of us! She provided us with so much information to help make our stay fantastic and she was more than accommodating to all our needs. The "dog beach" was a short drive up the road and for my husband and I we could simply walk across the street from the house when we didn't have the dogs to visit Kure beach. Fantastic home close to public beach access

Perfect weekend getaway. We felt like locals driving past the crowds then pulling into our private driveway only to be on the beach seconds later. Jackie was very welcoming and made the experience so much better. The backyard was a bonus especially if you have a pet. We enjoyed checking out the town, walking on the beach, surfing and quiet evenings reading some of the many books in the apartment.

Very neat and clean with everything you could possibly need for a stay at beach.

We had a wonderful vacation at Oceanside Island Paradise. The owner was very nice and provided everything you could want for a beach get-a-way. Our pooch loved the pretty fenced-in pet area. It was nice and shady and relaxing. We highly recommend this pet-friendly property and will definitely stay here again! The location is great.....just walk across the street and you are on the Beautiful Kure beach.

Awesome Rental!!

Oceanside rental, Kure Beach, NC ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed my vacation staying at the Oceanside rental property in Kure Beach, NC! It was perfect for a romantic getaway: choose to the ferry, beach, pier and restaurants. It was clean, easy to access and the owner (Jackie) provided everything we could ask for (beach towels, linens, private entry, fenced in yard for dogs!). We felt very welcome and had a great time, I would definitely return!

Lovely home--Wonderful Owner--Great Location!

We loved our trip to Kure Beach, NC, and it would not have been the same without our awesome "apartment" in Jackie and Sophie's home. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. It had a fenced in backyard which our dogs loved, and it was very convenient to let them out for a quick potty break before we went off to explore the area. The location was in walking distance of all the shops/restaurants in the area, and it was very close to a few spots that were FABULOUS for walking the dogs. Jackie and Sophie were very hospitable, friendly, and gave us an in-depth guide of where to go and what to see during our stay. Her suggestions turned out to be fabulous! I would highly recommend this property to anyone (especially dog lovers!) who want to be within a stones throw of all that Kure Beach has to offer.

I am former competitive tennis player and always ready toplay games and cards of all kinds I begin hosting guests in 2015 in order to provide a pet friendly space when no one in the area accepted dogs.An Active volunteer at shelters and rescues, I charge a $25 nightly fee( maximum of $100) for pets which is donated to an Animal Rescue Fund Trust.
A passionate NC State Wolfpack fan who attends all football and basketball home games and even some on the road. If there's a game on, my former cheerleader self may be cheering loud enough to be heard on the first floor!! Ill try and hold it down!!
Living on the top 2 floors of my home from April until the fall, with my sweet rescue dog, Buffy, I love hosting guests and sharing my home with people from all over the world.
Offering small town southern hospitality and information on where to go and what to do. I offer personal recommendations for dining and entertainment in a WELCOME PAK provided weeks prior to check in. A decorator box stored on the den bookshelf will provide menus, activity and recreational rental information. Questions about anything in the New Hanover area? Ill try to answer as best as i can. Kure Beach, offers a soft sandy usually uncrowded beach with lifeguards. Our beach underwent renourishment in April 2026 making it a flat surface better for beach walking. or bicycle riding.
An easy walk to restaurants, bars and attractions on the KB boardwalk as well as the longest fishing pier on the East Coast where you may snag your dinner, if you're lucky. Kure Beach is a former laid back fishing village that has grown to now house about 3000 full time residents.

Newly renovated in 2025 ,Oceanview Apartment comes with all the extra touches to make your vacation special. Kitchenette with full size refrigerator, microwave, oven/airfryer, full kitchen supplies and a spacious farm house sink and adequate granite countertop, A Bar cart fully stocked with bar glasses and tools.. and a place to store your cocktail ingredients.

Hotel quality Linens provided and your king size bed ready when you arrive. We provide Beach chairs and towels upon request, and an outdoor heated shower to wash off after you leave the beach.Master your beach walk or jog along the ocean front trail, explore the coquina rock reefs, kayak, surf fish, or ride the waves. Walk to the fishing pier, restaurants, bars and enjoy the weekly free outdoor concert and Thursday night fireworks. Dogs on leash are welcome on the beach before 9 am and after 5pm. Fort Fisher Recreation Area allows leased dogs at all time.

The Spacious primary bedroom comes with walk in closet and a second TV with Hulu Live+, ESPN and DIsney provided. Both the den and kitchen are decorated in a beachy theme with comfortable chairs for the bedroom and den. No lack of places to relax while you are here! Wifi is available for your use while at Oceanview and the code will be provided in the Welcome Pak.
A shady fenced in back yard adjoins your apartment for the comfort and convenience of your pet.. There are chairs and a table on the brick patio for sitting with your evening cocktail and a full size dining table for four for picnicing under the water oaks
Our pet fee is nominal and much less than a boarding fee and a lot more fun for your dog as he gets to vacation with you!.. All pet fees are used to support our Animal Rescue Trust which provided grants to deserving rescues and shelter in NC, SC, Va. Tx and overseas.
