Hoeppner's Vista ligger i Mitchell Bay, lige overfor Snug Harbor Resort, denne ejendom er perfekt beliggende for en familie eller en gruppe af venner, der ønsker at nyde den vestlige del af San Juan Island og al dens formue. Hvaler hyppige Open Bay, som kun er en 5 minutters bådtur fra egenskaberne stenstrand. Medbring din fiskerbåd eller lej en i Roche Harbor, da du er lige rundt om hjørnet fra fremragende sommerlaksefiskeri og crabbing. Dokken kan fortøje motorbåde op til 40 fod eller sejlbåde op til 50 fod.
Gæster på båd tæller mod Max Occupancy.

Det overordnede niveau har en rummelig og åben grundplan for at invitere alle ind i samtalen, mens de nyder en vidunderlig udsigt over den spektakulære solnedgang. Det fuldt udstyrede køkken med dets åbne bordplader giver et rummeligt område til at nyde friskfanget krabbe eller Westcott Bay-østers (Westcott Bay Oyster Farm ligger kun 10 minutters kørsel fra huset).(Bemærk, at dette hjem ikke er egnet til fester eller store sammenkomster, da det ligger i et roligt kvarter.)

Stueetagen Californien King soveværelse med eget bad tilbyder en spektakulær udsigt over vandet som de to lavere niveau dronning soveværelser, der deler en 3/4 bad. Nedenunder har også en anden opholdsstue med fladskærms-tv. Den sovesofa er placeret i det største opholdsrum ovenpå.

Beautiful art deco house with beach access. Very comfortable on 2 floors with beautiful ocean views and sunsets. It had all amenities that I needed. Clean, in a very good location. I will used it again.

Fantastic San Juan boat vacation

Two families took a 30' boat from Everett, moored at the dock, and took day trips. House was perfect for the 6 of us. Fantastic views, clean, huge kitchen with prep kitchen/butler pantry, quiet, peaceful. We loved the mid century decor, too. We will definitely be back!

BEAUTIFUL home in a great location!

We rented this home with my mother, my spouse and our 3 kids. It is an absolutely gorgeous home. We loved all the big windows and patio. The only downside was some minor uncleanliness with dishes - we had to rewash about 80% of the dishes as they were visibly dirty. I informed the property manager and they provided fair compensation for that. Overall, I would definitely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pros were that the view was spectacular and the location/beach/deck were perfect for our family and boat. The cons were the main freezer was broken, the cookware is low budget and MacGyvered, the dock did not have power or water, the beach storage is full of garbage and non kid friendly tools, and door handles were falling off in the house. Ultimately the owner and or property manager is not investing into the house to make it a safe and comfortable place.

The owner has updated the freezer, dishwasher and refrigerator. The kitchen has two new sauce pans and an egg frying pan. The homeowner has been updating and adding new furniture and other items to the property.

This was our 4th year and we hope to stay there many more times in the future. That said there are a few things that would be great if they could be upgraded. Starting with the deck outside the master bedroom, there is a cracked board that if you didnt see it and stood on it you might go through. The deck furniture is aged and the wooden table has no finish, fortunately I brought a tablecloth or it would would be smelling like crab for the next renter. They did replace the stools and are very nice. Overall it is a great place if you have a boat and want to enjoy the water. The view is amazing and for the most part the house is fine. Nothing fancy but thats not what you are paying for

Reviewer Comments: Pretty good, noticed some ongoing disrepair in the deck/ slider area, slider bar needs replacing, same with screen, all the deck posts need replacing, its time to complete the deck between the closed signs, need better sun blocker shades for living room. The master bedroom doesn't have any airflow, its like a sauna in there compared to the rest of the house. Totally unacceptable when its hot out. At the very least you could install a ceiling fan. There is a problem with the approach plywood, needs replacing. For what we are paying I shouldn't have had to mention any of these items.

We are sorry to hear you did not find everything satisfactory at Hoeppner's Vista. We did our best to provide attention to the items of concern during your stay there. The master bedroom does have a sliding door that opens to the water and allows the breeze off the Bay to cool it down, if needed. This is an older home on San Juan Island, and the homeowners are continuing to improve the home as the season allows.

Great View, Tired House - Look Elsewhere

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent 3 nights at this property and appreciated the great view. However, the house shows it’s age and overall feels very tired. We noticed the windows were dirty as soon as we walked in, overshadowing the great view. The furnishings throughout the house (couches, tables, lighting fixtures, etc) seemed very worn and dated, which did not give us the experience of “relax you’re home” vibes we get from other rental properties (including those from SJPM).The hot water from the faucets had a stink the entire weekend, which made showering very unpleasant and prompted us to use bottled water for brushing teeth, drinking, etc. In the lower level of the home, there was unfinished work particularly missing baseboards on one side of the common room with patches of mismatched paint on the wall, which gave an impression that this house wasn’t fully maintained.The electrical outlets on one wall of the mater bedroom simply did not work. This included the light switches themselves as well as the outlets, which made for an awkward experience, particularly as lighting was very poor at nighttime. The screen door to the patio fell off the track, and we had no luck getting it back on. Just another example of the house feeling poorly maintained/inspected by the owner/SJPM. Overall, we were very disappointed in this house If you don’t mind an old house which is not very inviting but has a great view, this would fit the bill ideally for a spring/summer vacation. Otherwise, there are plenty of nicer options at this price range with great views.

From your words, it sounds like the house was not to your taste and details possibly a little exaggerated. You are correct that this is not a brand-new home and is not equipped with brand new furniture. This is a comfortable, popular, cared-for, and well-equipped home with an amazing waterfront view. This home has hosted many happy guests and families. We’d like to note with the long list of dissatisfactions listed above, you did not reach out to our office or property managers for help or attention. Our office in Friday Harbor is open 7 days a week, with multiple property managers available 24 hours a day. Our 24 hour number is provided to all our guests and is posted inside the home.

Cool house but was not clean upon arrival

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house had a great set up and we loved the view and the foosball table. The tv was tricky to navigate and Netflix was in another language. The worst part however was that the house was not clean. Hairs and a personal shampoo bottle in the shower. The downstairs bathroom floor was dirty. Plates were wet and /or dirty. Our daughter went to sleep in the downstairs bed and it was full of sand. And the most disgusting part of all was someone’s fake eyelashes stuck to a bedside lamp. I was too repulsed to remove them. Considering the large cleaning fee charged I would expect a clean house. We would not stay in this house again and would think twice about other rentals on the island if using the same cleaners.

Great location, but the house is falling apart the and the amenities are poor

The views were definitely the saving grace! Otherwise, the property is quite challenged. It felt like nearly everything was falling apart. The bar stools and kitchen table chairs were broken, the master toilet moved when you sat on it, the outside balcony felt like it could break if you leaned on it. The showers were small marine like showers, the bathroom towels were old and moldy, the toiletries were cheap, and there was no Kleenex. The kitchen lacked the basics and there is not a grocery store nearby. Overall, the quality was extremely disappointing for the very expensive price tag.
