Studio Apartment in Prime London Location

This studio apartment is perfectly located in Onslow Gardens which is in South Kensington. There are many nearby museums including the Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Science Museum. There is also excellent shopping nearby and it is about a ten minute walk to Harrods. Transportation is excellent. There are many restaurants nearby as well as shops for groceries.

The apartment is fully furnished and includes bed and bath linens and all kitchen equipment. There is a king sized bed (American Queen) which can be separated to provide twin beds. There is also excellent storage space.

There is a dressing area adjoining the studio room leading to the bathroom, which is very private.

The apartment benefits from a private entrance and the use of beautiful communal gardens.

Holly was an amazing host! She is immensely knowledgeable about the area and provides great suggestions about local restaurant options and attractions nearby. The flat was clean and the facilities provided everything you might need if you decide to eat in or need your morning tea or coffee fix. You can't beat the location for exploring London and nearby boroughs - easy access to the underground and perfectly walkable distances to many world famous attractions. I know I would stay again if coming to London!

We had a lovely time in London. This English basement studio apartment was cozy, well-appointed and had everything we needed. It is located in South Kensington, which is a safe and historic neighborhood. The apartment is between two Underground stops, so getting around London was a breeze! There are many restaurants, cafes, and stores within a short walk. Thanks, Holly! We will be back!

Very good location. The host very active and nice. The description fails to indicate that the flat is in a basement, and therefore you have to go down to reach it. Its not suitable for seniors who carry luggage. The stairs are tricky and difficult for access. The towels and such could use renovation. Overall a good experience

Holly is a great hostess. Her place is possibly one of the best equipped properties we’ve stayed in. The location is exceptional. The apartment is comfortable and we felt at home. We highly recommend.

The kitchen had everything that we needed for our 7 night stay. The location is excellent for tube, buses and grocery shopping. There are also some good restaurants within a close walking distance. Holly was great to meet, and it was nice to meet her husband too.

Lovely studio , just like in the photos. We will love to come back. Just a heads up for future renters, the studio is like a basement and there are stairs. This accomodation won’t suit elderly or people with mobility issues. Also if you want modern style furniture , this is not for you. Thanks Hollie for letting us stay in your studio. Holly was an excellent hostess. The flat was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our 1 week stay in London. Nice quiet location that is close to many restaurants and shops. With a bus stop and two underground stations nearby it was easy to get around.

Wonderful host and location!

We enjoyed our stay and Holly was very responsive, thoughtful, kind and helpful. Great location in Kensington - convenient to the tube, museums and restaurants. We were confortable and felt safe in a very scenic and walkable neighbourhood. The images provide an accurate representation of the property and it comes equipped with everything you will need. This was one of many London family adventures - it is a fantastic city to visit - full of character and history.

Great location!

My teenage son and I stayed at this VRBO. The description accurately described the space. We liked that the bed splits in two so we each had our own bed. The closet area outside the bathroom worked well for a private changing area. The neighborhood has easy access to two tube stops, grocery stores and Hyde Park. Holly was always avaliable for questions and easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again.

Delightful stay at a lovely location

The room was just perfect. WE were near 2undergrrounds and grocery stores and lots of delicious restaurants. Our Hostess Holly was a wonderful help, and even went and got items I could not find at the store. We enjoyed her and her room and would return if we are able

Perfect home away from home

Location was so convenient to the underground and walkable to museums and Hyde Park. It was wonderful to have such a well-equipped kitchen to prepare simple meals in the flat after long days of sight seeing. Convenient food shopping very close as well as great pubs and eateries. Great Location, Cozy Flat!

The location of the flat was perfect! I wanted to be close to the V&A, and this was very close--about a 10 minute walk. It was also easy to reach other London destinations, either by walking or taking nearby transit. The flat itself was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots and pans for basic cooking. There was plenty of closet space for hanging clothes. Holly, the host, was friendly and helpful. I was able to check in when I arrived from Heathrow, around 9 in the morning, which was a huge benefit. Getting to the flat from Heathrow by tube was also easy. I hope to stay in the flat again, and I recommend it to others traveling either on their own or with a partner or friend.

Comfortable studio with central location

For a girl’s trip week, this was the perfect location to come back to in the evenings after visiting museums, theater and shopping during the day. You'll have everything you need to be comfortable and the hosts are easily reached and accommodating.

Very nice accommodations!

We had a lovely stay. The hosts were terrific. We loved having a clean and comfortable home base for our visit to London. It's in a nice area, situated between two tube stops and close to museums, shops and restaurants. The space worked out great and we really liked being able to make tea and have toast in the morning. The whole apartment was very well equipped! We would certainly recommend it.

Great Getaway

We loved our stay. The location was perfectly situated between two very accessible tube stations. Many restaurants and food shops within walking distance. The flat had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. We had a nice sitting and kitchen area which we could have taken more advantage of but we were so busy seeing the sights that we didn't spend much time indoors. If you're looking for a place to sleep (and maybe make your own meals) while you visit the city, this is the place to do it.

Perfect Location and Cozy Flat

My daughter and I had the pleasure of spending eight days in South Kensington. This apartment is in the perfect location…nice and quiet street with the restaurants and shops all just around the corner. Easy walk to two tube stations and bus stops. Holly was available to answer any questions and was so kind. The beds and linens were amazing and were wonderful to rest up in after long days off sightseeing! Highly recommend!

Great stay, great location

Holly’s flat was perfect for our week stay in London. It was located in a lovely part of town with great museums, restaurants, cafes, and pubs nearby. It was also a short walk to the tube, so it was easy to take a train to any other part of London. The flat itself had all we needed: a comfortable bed, refrigerator, stove, and bathroom with a nice shower. Holly was a lovely host and very easy to communicate with. We very much recommend this spot!

Basement flat

It’s not readily apparent that this is a basement unit. I discovered this after I made a non refundable payment. The flat is accessed by a somewhat steep staircase from the street. We loved the location and the quiet at night. We were bothered by the uneven flooring, lack of air circulation, and the fact that we saw people’s feet as they walked by. Although well provisioned, the furniture and linens are pretty worn. The flat could use some TLC.

Lovely Flat, Very Nice Owner!

This flat was just about perfect for us. It was our first time in London, and we loved staying in our own little flat close to restaurants and Tube stations (it's five minutes' walk away from two stations, plus about a block away from a bus stop). Holly was a perfect host -- close by in case of emergencies, very friendly, but also super respectful of our privacy. It was a pleasure meeting her! The flat is exactly as pictured/described. You can rent this one with confidence! We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful flat

What an excellent flat! The host is welcoming, unobtrusive and available. She left excellent information on nearby restaurants and shops. The flat was perfect for a friend and I to share. The dressing room / bathroom area is great if one traveler sleeps in while the other is up and running! This flat and this host are wonderful!

Wonderful garden apartment (note:there are steps) with comfortable bed, clean kitchen and bath and super Kensington/Hyde park location. Close to 2 tube stops, grocery, pubs and park. This was our first visit to London but hope we can come again and would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you
